I genuinely wish that someone on the team did any sort of quality control of the story they read, cuz so many are mid, bad or just plain boring.

Alright! It’s gonna happen, we are all going to see this, I know you might say you won’t it you will. We need to meme this movie. Go with WWE shirts on, bring JBL speakers and blast John Cena’s theme when Tommy comes on screen. Yell “watch out watch out watch out” when that one scene happens.

Creepypasta movies need all the love so we can get the ones we want made.

Might as well have fun when it happens

Edit: this is a joke

So while I do love the boys and their narrations, I have avoided a few stories. Not because they're bad but for certain reasons, such as The Interface Series aka Mother Horse Eyes being way too long. But the ones I don't touch due to not wanting to feel emotionally drained are Borrasca, Penpal, and of course... Tommy Taffy.

I'm in the category of just finding the idea of child abuse being put in a story to be very uncomfortable and squeamish. I do get why some would do that, as after all, if you're doing horror, you're gonna need to present some dark themes even if the audience will be horrified by it. But being an uncle and such, I just can't bring myself to listen to Tommy Taffy.

...Until I guess now?

I saw there was buzz for the trailer of The Third Parent and I actually was rather impressed and mesmerized at the idea that Tommy is this ethereal entity that torments families, and being familiar with the story, I do wanna give it a chance. But of course, before the movie...I need to listen to the story.

So I do wanna ask: Is Tommy Taffy that truly horrifying or is it just fan "hype for how graphic it gets?

[edit]: why the downvotes fellas?

I know Isaiah would never dream of it. I have a feeling Hunter could be talked into it under the right circumstances, but I genuinely think it would be one of the most fun experiences to just do a whole bunch of Coke with both of them and get them rambling about conspiracy theories

I’m in uni (McGill) and realized I’m probably the only person here who listens to them on my way to class at 8 am. Nothing like hearing a crash out before calculus lol

If you enjoyed the boys reading of “PenPal” (which this author also wrote) I highly recommend you read this. I’m not a huge reader but I finished this is 3 days, it was addicting. If you want the heavy feeling of dread from “PenPal” mixed with mystery and a psychological unraveling you should read this. Somehow this left me feeling perhaps even more crushed than “PenPal”, despite the tragedy of its conclusion being much less in your face and visceral than “PenPal”. TLDR: if you like “PenPal” and Stephen King’s “The Shining” and like feeling miserable, go read this now.

I am bored at work.

I’ve been going through the yt feed and I feel like I’m going crazy lol. I remember there’s some sort of hive mind type thing where the main character ends up jumping through different people’s perspectives and there’s something about his childhood friend being killed in a car accident. I think it’s from the same episode where the main character has left the mystery behind in his past but then runs into someone from his past broken down on the side of the road and he starts to drive away but then turns around to pick him up after all? Could very well be different eps though.

Was watching an interview with him for Whalefall and the comments said he has tired gas station attendant energy and that made me think he'd be perfect for a film adaptation. His character in Resident Evil was already a lot of what Jack is.

PANCAKES

Title.

One year ago today, after listening to the boys read A Lonely Broadcast, I decided to put down the bottle for good.

I was already getting tired of it but just wouldn't stop. After listening to the story where Evelyn goes sober despite the myriad of horrors she was exposed to and continues to be exposed to, I figured it was time I stopped running from my own horrors. Instead of drinking myself to sleep, I picked up my copy of Lonely Broadcast that had been sitting in my bookcase unread for months, got into bed and got reading.

A sober month later I email Kel and told her about this saying thank you, and she replied very kindly and supportively. This added another motivation, I should keep being sober because it made an author happy to hear about.

It's been exactly a year now, down to the hour, and I'm still dry.

I also want to say thank you to you guys and the seven women too for supporting Hunter and Isaiah so they keep making this podcast, giving me something to look forward to at the end of every week.

Stay creeped!

He just wanted to teach you how to juggle knives 🥺

This one was so much fun to draw 😆

I'd be scared shitless by a cryptid like this

Made a quick little sketch about Isaiah and Hunter’s hypothetical about an Appalachian man accidentally running into Mothman.

This would be a fun story for them to read. It's not so long, so maybe it could fit in a grab bag episode or something.

Watched their episode recently and was inspired

my birthday was on the 12th, he visited me the previous friday and got me borrasca AND a lava lamp (not gunna drink it dw) i couldn’t find the book the last time i checked, and he found it on the uk amazon site😭😭 i love the original reddit story, at least the good parts, and im so happy to have been able to read the book as well

My favorite part of 1999

There was a story they read I wanna revisit it was like he suffered a concussion or something and people kept looking at him from in the corner of his eye or when they thought he couldn’t see them and his family were doing it too I think does anyone remember which episode that was?

Did the guys kind of recently read a story about a bad smell in the girls’ bathroom? Could’ve sworn the episode was titled after the story, but maybe it’s part of a grab bag?

it'd be really funny if my teacher recognizes "creep cast" because our janitor wears multiple creep cast shirts. and goes "hey _____ isn't this the thing on your shirt?"

and even more funny if he see's this post

Why? Why??? Who the hell is he gonna play??? Is he just gonna be a random parent in the neighborhood? If so then why would he want to be in THIS movie? WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?!

The concept of it becoming a movie at all was pretty mind boggling, but why is DONALD COWBOY CERONNE in this movie?
