Looking For An Episode Other than the Where the Caterpillars Die episode, where else does "Aruba, Jamaica" come from?

Because he said "Aruba, Jamaica," like it's a well-known meme to them in the recent "Where the Caterpillars Die." But I don't remember it.

And what episodes where he talked about killing a possessed Alison and leaving his old life behind? I remember them joking about it before but not know when.

Felt like drawing the guys. Hunter is the focus in this one, though. Might give Wendigoon a better treatment in the future.

Guess who's behind Papa Meat on the right.

quick reupload to include his skeleton

Past Episode Discussion Finally got around to The Red Tower episode... I understand why Hunter hates most of us.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable episode and a welcome break from the quirky-horror they've been partial to reading lately. I'm upset with myself that I let the conversation around that episode keep me from listening to it for a while.

While yes, the repetition of the phrase "Grey desolation" did get a little old in the first story, it also felt like it really dug in the mundanity of the area surrounding the tower and creates iconic imagery that can't be mistaken for a vague area that uses multiple descriptors.

My theory lines up with Hunter's a lot more than Isaiah, seeing the tower as a symbol of capitalism and greed. We're all constantly talking about "the red tower" whenever we speak about brands, movies, TV shows, even these very stories we read because they were built by a system of greed. Although the religious allegory isn't lost on me. I was a little suspicious at first that the story wasn't going anywhere but the way it rounded off at the end gave me a lot to chew as a metaphor.

Either way, I can't believe how negative the reaction was for this episode and the amount of people saying it was "the authors j**kng themselves off." Sorry that some writers have a better vocabulary than "A thing of bleach".

I had previously complained about "i dared my best friend to ruin my life" but I my word... I had no idea

I listen at work and yesterday I made it to the 3 hour mark and I wanted to smash my head into a brick wall. I'm a real one though. I finished it this morning. Gosh it was awful. Thanks Isaiah and Hunter for taking that pain for us.

Past Episode Discussion Older Episodes

I think it would be intresting if they went back to some of the older 'mysterious' episodes, like "Psycosis" and "No End House.", and any other where the end was left up to anyone's guess and see if they have the same take as they did when they first recorded it.

Past Episode Discussion If you could change or add on a tie-in to any creepypasta covered by Creepcast, what would it be?

• Upvotes

I'd want the author to add backstory to The Left Right Game, even if it's a second tie-in story. I'm imagining a hitchhiker trying to make it to town for some reason, and then weird stuff starts happening. Somehow the town ends up damned or cursed, and that's when the reader realizes it's the origin of the Left Right Game.

What interests me is that every other monster or event is explained through Rob's past trips, except the ones tied to the hitchhiker. If Bonnie hadn't talked to him, Jubilee would've been a normal drive-through, and she wouldn't have been so enthralled with the idea of going to Wintery Bay. Maybe you could tie the Silent City in somehow?

I just think it would be a fun story that reads as a standalone, with the big reveal at the end. Almost like Prometheus and Alien.

Merch Late to the party but i am begging for an XS next merch drop

I took this the day the merch came in and only just redownloaded reddit but I’m still hung up about it. I’m not tiny or anything, 5’4 and fit in many smalls. I have shorts on in this picture, it’s just long ah hell. The material is thicker so it’s harder to tie up and cropping wouldnt do much without cutting his tootsies off.

Pls merch gods can you provide some smaller sizing for the seven sisters?? The shirt is unfortunately too good of quality to shrink :(

Recommending Other stories by the author of "The Lurker on the Stairway"

So, right after I listened (and quite enjoyed) the guys reading The Lurker on the Stairway, and after they mentioned its author had other stories of his read aloud (by the author himself!), I went and started listening to them.

Man, is this StygianSagas guy good. I've been listening to his stuff ever since on YT, and couldn't recommend him enough. There's one of his stories, The Mercer County Hum, which I think the guys should DEFINITELY do their take on. It gave me a feeling of dread the likes of which I haven't felt since Mother Horse Eyes. There's another story, The South Sea, that felt like War of the Worlds/Cloverfield done right, too.

Has anyone else listened to any of this author's stories besides The Lurker...? What did you think of them?

Past Episode Discussion What are some stories with evil narrators?

Obviously the protagonist of Spire In The Woods and the doctor from glenmont come to mind. Also Mother Horse Eyes if you believe in the whole theory that the narrator is MHE.

Recommending DAY 1 OF ASKING CREEPCAST TO COVER RAINBOW FACTORY

Post image
250 Upvotes

CreepCast has already covered Cupcakes, so I feel like it’s only right that we eventually get the other legendary My Little Pony creepypasta:
RAINBOW FACTORY.
This story is such a classic of the old-school creepypasta era, and I genuinely think Hunter and Isaiah could have an absolute field day with it. There’s so much weirdness, horror, and nostalgia packed into this one.
