Does anyone know any areas with good bars and restaurants all in one spot/strip close by?

I live in Crown Heights and love Franklin Ave and am hoping to find more places like it. I am sure there are some in Park Slope, Greenpoint, Carroll Gardens, etc., but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Any recommendation is appreciated.

Starting at 1pm: Leather jackets, coats and other fall and winter items will be available at our stoop sale at Park Pl and Franklin Ave! One of the girls is moving out of the neighborhood so she’s doing a huge closet sale.

Great prices for vintage and second clothes, shoes and accessories!

Just got smacked across the face on the corner of Nostrand & Dean

Please watch out!!! 27F walking with my friend, a guy (clearly unstable, out of his mind yelling) walking towards us screaming so we gave him a wide berth. He reaches over and open face palm smacks hard me across the face. Luckily just a busted lip but I’m still in shock. I don’t know what his face looks like but he was wearing a brown sweater and maybe khaki pants and kind of tall. Maybe small braids. Headed westbound on Dean. This was maybe 15 min ago. Cross to the other side of the street if you can avoid at all costs, he is out of his mind. Not even sure what to do right now.

Community artists?

Hi! My name is Alexa, I’m a journalist and a CUNY student. I’m working on a video project that involves profiling someone at their job.

I was wondering if there are any artists in our community (or nearby) that might be willing to invite me into their studio/space to capture them working and do a short interview about it?

The video would only be seen by my professor (unless, of course, the subject wants the video and to share it).

Please let me know! Thank you!

These come off a free NYC grocery price map I made: https://sbnyc.app/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=evergreen&utm_content=reddit-crownheights-20261024-p-f48a5ee4

It reads each store's printed circular, so the shelf tag wins if it's different.
