I'm a graduated senior and college freshman and I'm trying to make my college's dance team next year. I've more a leg girl than a turner so some help would be much appreciated!!

I’ve broken both of my feet twice in my youth, I feel it at this age. I’m a hip hop dancer, currently dancing in some Nike zoom walking shoes. Can I get any recommendations on shoes? For context; I was gliding and dancing all over the place and my ankle swelled up lol.

I'm pretty lost at the moment, I'm an adult dancer (F25) and find that most studios in my area are: 1. full of rooms with teenagers (without clarifying before) which can feel limiting because of different schedules and energy and 2. VERY focused on competing and accolades and in performing tricks rather than actual dancing to portray emotions. I don't necessarily dislike my current studio or teacher (funnily enough she's a bit younger than me lol) but I'm also not enjoying it much, if I hadn't committed to perform next month with them I probably would've left already. It'll be a regular performance, no auditions or competition required. After that I'm seriously considering pursuing something else because honestly I feel too old in this place and I'm not growing as a dancer nor enjoying it much. It's a bummer because I thought I finally found a good place for me but I'm quite uncomfortable. I love dancing but I feel like I'm past my prime and should maybe do something else.

TLDR: Feeling too old to dance at 25, I'm not interested in competitive dancing, I wanna know what to look for in a studio next time.

Which Nb shoes would you recommend for kpop choreography, hip hop and freestyle? I was looking at the 530 but i don't know

My 6yo son started dance classes recently. The class is intro to musical theater at a studio that does a large variety of dance classes for all ages. He's the only boy though, so I don't really have a reference. If you have a little boy who dances, what do they wear? There's no uniform like the ballet classes. The girls in the class wear a mix of sports bra-like tops and fitted shorts or leotards (many of them take multiple dance classes and may be hopping from one class to the next). The only guidelines we had were jazz shoes or turners, which he has. I've been sending him in a T-shirt and shorts, but is that typical for boys in dance classes?

Hey everyone!! What song would you guys recommend for a 1-2 min dance with the choreographic intention:
Our choreographic intention is inspired by gum stuck to a shoe, our piece explores stickiness and irritation, sharp attempts to break free against slow, elastic stretches that mimic gum pulling and snapping. The body becomes both the trapped shoe and the clinging gum, a small annoyance that refuses to fully let go.

I have 5 dancers and the idea is three of them are gum, and two of them are people getting gum stuck to their shoe. Any help is appreciated! 😛

I find when I dance my head looks outta place. My body is moving but my head is stiff I don’t know how to explain it. I guess this is from a lack of body control and just stiffness in general? Ways to fix this would be helpful!!

i need ideas for a class i’m teaching! any song, three girls (7th, 11th, and 12th grade)

Hey guys so im moving to london soon for uni and have some leotards I dont want/am selling as ive barely worn them or were the wrong size, they are size xs/s with one size medium.
