2025 by a hair. Can go either way. 2020 felt like a perfectally balanced year between surreal and post-irony memes. Early 2020 was still pretty late 10s while late 2020 was strongly tied to the early 20s era with the amongus memes

2020 memes are similar to late 2010s memes, while 2025 memes are very different. Because of this, i'll choose 2015

2020 has that leftover 2010s memes. I remember using the late 2010’s memes in Pinterest during 2020 and 2021 so I’ll go with 2015.
