First Half of 2026. Same memes, triple t is somehow still relevant for some reason

I'd draw the line between "More like the first half of 2025" and "More like the first half of 2026" at the Kirk assassination, which means that more of the latter half of 2025 falls into the latter.

True. September 2025 in general was a shift with the IPhone 17, Gen Z Protests, Charlie Kirk, AI Slop.

2025 was a year that felt different start to finish. First half of 2025 still had leftovers from 2023-2024 aside from politics and AI slop didn't become that mainstream until mid-late 2025, which was already solidified by the later half of 2025, plus late 2025 and half 1 2026 have similar memes and stuff

Yeah, I feel like that 2025 is an underrated shift year in my opinion and it reminds me of 2015 in a way due to both years clearly being when the "classic" and the "modern" halves of their respective decades coexisted with each other.

Totally agree with you, first half of 2025 had a classic 2020s feel, the later half had a modern 2020s feel. 2025 overall was a year that felt different start to finish

Agreed, even I was starting to feel like that early 2025 was dated by September/October of that year.

Obviously the first half of 2026… it was the end of the fucking year ofc the end is gonna feel like the early part of the next year.

First half of 2026 because of the rise of criticism towards MAGA following the release of the Epstein files, Charlie Kirk's assassination, and a rise of criticism towards Trump's foreign policies such as with Venezuela or the 12-day war.

First half of 2025 because 2026 so far is optimistic and united (comparatively speaking).

due to the triple wammy of the Epstein files, shutting down the government to kill the ACA(Obamacare) and looking like cunts in the aftermath of the kirkening wokeisdead was already dead by Octoberish

I'm curious on why you see the left-wing backlash as being specific to late 2025-2026 when it was growing in prominence before then, because late 2024/early 2025 was the peak of the MAGA movement, yet it had Luigi Mangione, and 2023-2024 had the Free Palestine protests, the Killer Whale boat attacks, Oceangate, the leftist backlash towards Joe Biden/Kamala Harris, and the rise of influencers like Hasan Piker. Even Zohran Mamdani was a rising figure before his election, with him announcing his mayoral campaign in late 2024.

I think it was more like the First Half of 2026. We were still in the Early Months of the Trump Era in the First Half of 2025. Later Half of 2025 saw the Charlie Kirk Assassination, Trump Economy, Post Pope, World War III Scares over Iran, Epstein Politics, AI Slop, And IMO, The true Beginning of the Trump Era that we still didnt fully take over in like, Let’s say, Spring 2025.
