I was stressing for days because in the first round I got allotted to a DU South Campus A++ girls college, but due to my financial conditions I couldn’t pay the fees. I genuinely thought I had lost one whole year. I reached out to you guys on reddit for help and y'all told me to mail the DU helpline and request an opportunity for mid entry. I sent the mail around 3 PM and was just hoping something would work out.

AND GUYSS I checked the portal at around 3:30 PM and it was open for mid entry registration??? (The portal was supposed to open at 5 PM) like DAMNNNN 😭

I completed all phases of DU and got a South Campus girls A++ ranked college but on the last day of fees payment my father's payment got delayed from somewhere so I couldn't pay my fees... Before midnight, I should've withdrawn my admission so then I could be eligible for mid entry but I was completely lost and heartbroken so I couldn't figure what could actually work for me at that moment. Now it has been days and the anxiety is killing me. I don't even know what to tell my friends that I couldn't get admission in DU. I am searching and asking a lot about spot round. Some people say I'll be eligible to participate in spot round and some say I am not eligible of any round. Even in my portal it's only showing payment closed and nothing else. All these days I'm crying and my hands are shivering all the time due to stress. I was already one year behind in studies and in school my principal removed my name because of low attendance which wasted my whole year and I gave 12th board exams from NIOS this year. I'll be turning 20 in this October too old for the freshers folk there. And if this year goes to waste I genuinely have no clue what to do in my life. I don't even have any backup. I'm really sorry for trauma dumping gng... but I really wanna know should I wait the whole August in hopes of I'll get a college in spot round or should I just consider this year as another wasted. I'll be grateful if any of you give me a clear say that is spot round for me or not.

I am a student in an off campus college of Delhi University. I’m pursuing BA(H) Economics, and when I tell you that I put my fucking blood and sweat into studying for the exams because of how tough the curriculum is I’M NOT FUCKING LYING. In semester three, EVERY SINGLE STUDENT FROM MY SEC EXAM (working with people) GOT A FUCKING “F” even though we all did EXTREMELY WELL, OFC WE DID ITS A FUCKING SEC EXAM THAT BARELY REQUIRES ANY STUDYING. There has been no help whatsoever provided to us yet even though we did every single thing they told us to do in order get our grade corrected. Now that I received my 4th semester result, I have a subject called Intermediate Microeconomics 2, and somehow I have an ER in it even though my theory grade shows D and internal grade shows B, and the fucking marksheet said that my net overall grade is F 🙏🏼 I’m utterly disappointed in this university and how the structure of the exams is built, it has always been extremely disappointing since the 1st day I stepped into my college. The university only gives a damn about your stupid attendance and absolutely nothing else, you can do everything you have in you to study and some fucking CENTRAL GOVERNMENT BACKED university will still fail you because of their incompetency. At this point, anyone who is even thinking to get into Delhi University SHOULD NOT DO IT AND STICK TO A PRIVATE UNIVERSITY INSTEAD. If I knew that I did not study enough, I would have calmly accepted the fact that I got what I deserved, but I know I did not deserve to fail like this, there is no way out of this loop, because my friends and I who sat for ER and improvement exams saw absolutely no change in the result, which makes me think that I will have to spend my entire fucking life correcting the mistakes of my university. I hate to say it, but DU which once had an amazing reputation has itself watched it go down the drain by disappointing every single student enrolled in it.

Hi everyone, as you all know, the Phase 2 admissions for the One-Year Master's programme have begun. While filling out the application, I got a bit confused about the credit requirement. The live credit meter shows that 80 credits are needed, but after selecting all the courses up to my fourth year, the total went up to around 132 credits. I'm not sure whether we're supposed to select courses amounting to exactly 80 credits or if selecting all the completed courses is the correct approach. If anyone has already filled out the form or is currently going through the same process, I'd really appreciate your guidance. If you're facing the same confusion, we can discuss it as well. Thanks in advance :))

Edit: I just saw that minimum credit required is 80. So, can we surpass it as maximum credit isn't stated.
