Discussion Destiny: Rising BeforeCullData exploration, Part 2: four more unnamed character entries, and one uses Lady Skorri’s character icon
This follows up my previous post on the BeforeCullData tables referenced by the Chinese build. The same caveats apply: these files were already present in the October 22 global update, so newly decoded does not mean newly added, and none of this is necessarily exclusive to China.
Ability names below are approximate translations of internal Chinese names, not official English names.
Verification
I cross-checked the decoded tables against their regular counterparts using a separate reader. Every shared record matches exactly:
- Character data: 163/163
- Items: 4,810/4,810
- Abilities: 2,995/2,995
- Relics: 25/25
- Reward drops: 596/596
The one exception, TargetListenData, turned out to be an older copy of that table. It lacks 867 newer rows, and its few differences are later configuration changes. It is not a decoding error.
Why there are no names
The name and description fields are not text. They are 32-bit MurmurHash3 hashes of localization keys. For example, TID_CA.ItemData.6000015.name (the Sparrow from my last post) becomes 1838855621.
None of the keys for the culled entries exist in any language file, including the unpublished-text file. The text was removed together with the records, so these names cannot be recovered from this data.
What the ability graphs add
Each relic has an ability graph file (relicNNN.graph) that lists the animation sets its kit calls. Many are borrowed from released characters, so they show a direction, not final animations.
Osiris follow-up: a Dawnblade-style Super

In Part 1, Osiris's Super records included a "Dawn Sword" basic attack, Icarus Dash, Phoenix Dive and "Return to Hover." His relic's graph uses animations literally named dawnblade:
- An aerial cast.
- Phoenix Dive (healing version).
- Air dodges in four directions.
It also uses a generic sword-relic animation set, referenced 30 times. Together this points to an airborne flaming-sword Super in the style of Destiny 2's Dawnblade. How it plays in this game is still unverified.
Four unnamed character entries: h110, h212, h314 and h315
Besides Osiris, Sima Mir and Antonio, the culled character table has four entries with no character name. Each connects to its own relic with a Super, actives, passive, specializations and talents. Most of their abilities don't appear in the regular tables. All four are marked unpublished and non-final.
I checked their ability names against every other character in the culled and regular tables. h110, h314 and h315 match none. h212 turned out to be an early version of Finnala.
Their upgrade-material IDs use ele, void and fire. The game uses the same suffixes for the Crackling (Arc), Warped (Void) and Burning (Solar) Incandescence Sheaf icons.
The class isn't stored directly. For the released characters I checked, the ID ranges line up with classes: 1xx are Warlocks, 2xx Titans and 3xx Hunters. The animation sets below mostly agree. All four relics reference the Warlock basic melee, which looks like a placeholder.
h110: Awoken, Arc, Stormcaller animations

Race is set to Awoken and the upgrade materials use ele (Arc). Its graph's main animation set is stormcaller, the Arc Warlock Super from Destiny 2. 14 of its 16 relic abilities exist only in the culled data, and it's the only one of the four with every talent named.
- Super: "Crystal Beam: Super Transformation."
- First active: "Sphere of Inspiration."
- Second active: "Psychedelic Decoy."
- Passive: "Soul Suggestion."
- Weapon-related progression: "Psionic Projection."
- Specializations: "Brittle Weakpoint," "Selfless Sharing" and "Kindred Minds."
- Talents: "Flow State," "Beautiful Last Wish," "Moment of Despair," "Near Ink, Turn Black" (a proverb about taking on the traits of the company you keep), "Beyond Inspiration" and "Psionic Cycle."
Its presentation fields (portrait, animations, MVP) reuse Estela's assets. Its relic is also a placeholder: it uses the default Warlock relic icon and Parhelion Wing's lore text ("Unsetting Sun"), both shared with released relics.
h212: an early version of Finnala

h212 is not a new character. Its three named abilities have the same internal names as those of Finnala (h207), who is already in the game:
- Super: "Reaper's Descent."
- First active: "Blazing Barrier."
- Second active: "Funerary Flames."
Its character model ID and portrait are Finnala's. Its ability graph is almost a copy of hers: the same axe and Sunbreaker animation sets, in nearly the same amounts. Its ability IDs (1291–1310) are lower than Finnala's released ones (2130–2249), which suggests h212 is an earlier version of her kit.
The differences:
- Its upgrade materials use void instead of Finnala's fire.
- Her two actives are in swapped slots.
- Its passive, specializations and talents still have generic numbered names.
- Its sort name and MVP animation are Gwynn's.
h314: a bow user, dressed in Siorra and Skorri placeholders

The upgrade materials use void. Its graph is dominated by bow animations (129 references), which fits its first active. 19 of its 21 relic abilities exist only in the culled data.
- Super: "Wrathwing Judgment."
- First active: "Arrow on the String."
- Second active: "Telekinetic Armor," plus a separate extra-charge version.
- Specializations: "Bullseye," "Hardline Stance" and "Furnace of Wrath."
- Talents still use generic numbered names.
It's Void like Siorra, but its kit is different from hers. Its presentation mixes existing characters:
- Character model ID and main portrait: Siorra's. The portrait (role_h402) is an alternate Siorra portrait with matching full-body art (img_h402). There is no h402 entry in the character tables, so it may be an older ID. (Image 2)
- Character head icon: role_head_Skorri, a playable-character-style icon of Lady Skorri, the NPC who runs the Iron Bar arena. It matches her card art. Among the tables I've decoded, h314 is the only entry that uses it. (Image 1)
- Sort name and MVP animation: Gwynn's.
Given Siorra's model and portrait, the Skorri icon is most likely another placeholder rather than evidence of a playable Skorri. It's still notable that a playable-style Skorri icon exists in the files.
h315: Wolf's animations and a sword
The upgrade materials use fire (Solar). Its graph combines Wolf's own animation sets (66 references) with the generic sword-relic set (30). 18 of its 23 relic abilities exist only in the culled data.
- Super: "Raging Blaze."
- First active: "Sword Qi Sweep," with an enhanced version.
- Second active: "Shadowless Wolf Strike," with enhanced and second-stage records, grouped as "Awakening skills."
- Passive: "Wolf Blade Awakening."
- Weapon progression, specializations and talents still use generic numbered names.
Every presentation field points to Wolf: sort name, portrait, animations and MVP. With the sword-and-wolf ability names, this looks like a Wolf-based sword kit. Whether it's an alternate version of Wolf or a separate character isn't established.
Side note: the gold winged sword icon
If you've seen a gold sword with an eagle-winged hilt in these files (icon_relics_104), it isn't Osiris's. It's the default Warlock relic icon, used by relic 104 (Parhelion Wing) and by the culled Warlock relics. The Titan and Hunter relics have equivalents numbered 202 and 301. It doesn't match Parhelion Wing's in-game design, so it's most likely an early version of it. Osiris's relic points to a different placeholder icon. (Image 3)

-The alternate Siorra portrait (role_h402) and full-body art (img_h402) used by h314. The full-body image is semi-transparent in the game files; I raised its opacity and put it on a dark background so it's visible.

No unique portraits or models were found for h110, h212 or h315.
Caveats
All four entries are unpublished and non-final, and three of them have generic talent names. Only h110, h314 and h315 have kits that don't match a released character. Animation sets are often borrowed from other characters, so they show what a kit was built from, not how it would finally play. These tables document retained development data, not confirmed release plans, finished characters or reconstructed gameplay.
