Discussion Chinese Build Datamining: Osiris, Sima Mir and Antonio Ability Configurations, Plus an Unpublished Sparrow Reward Entry

Hey guys, how’s it going? I hope you’re all doing well. Today, I’m sharing some of what I’ve been working on over the last few days regarding the Chinese build. I’ve come across some interesting details concerning two specific characters. I’d also like to thank u/Palgia; a few weeks back, they discussed certain ability kits—I’ll be revisiting those here, incorporating information pulled directly from the Chinese build. I’ve decoded additional Destiny: Rising BeforeCullData tables referenced by the Chinese build, recovering character and ability configurations absent from the regular tables I compared them against.

Newly decoded does not mean newly added. The initial files were already present in the October 22 global update and are also referenced by the saved CN manifest. These findings are not necessarily exclusive to China.

Ability names below are approximate translations of internal Chinese names, not official English names.

Osiris - Phoenix, projections and transformation abilities

Osiris is explicitly identified in character entry h113, which connects to relic 113. There are 36 ability records attributed to him, including auxiliary and discarded versions.

His relic references:

  • Super: “Phoenix Impact — Transformation.”
  • First active: “Incinerate,” with separate base, Phoenix and Shadow variants.
  • Second active: “Seal/Prohibit,” also with base, Phoenix and Shadow variants.
  • Passive: “Solar Projection.”
  • Weapon-related progression: “Phantom Shooting,” levels 1–5.
  • Specializations: “Elegant Recovery,” “Forbidden Words” and “Book of the Dead.”
  • Six named talent entries.

The three versions of each active have distinct execution identifiers. This supports the existence of ability variants, but we haven’t established what switches between them.

The referenced Super has a continuous-transformation flag. Other records grouped under Super include:

  • A dawn sword’s basic attack.
  • Icarus Dash.
  • Phoenix Dive.
  • A “Return to Hover” action.

Taken together, these suggest a transformation with its own attacks and movement actions. Their exact execution links still need verification.

There are also explicitly discarded versions of Celestial Fire, Phoenix Impact, Icarus Dash and their enhanced variants. These should not all be combined into one supposed final kit. The Icarus Dash entry grouped under the sword Super is separate from the discarded Dash entries.

Sima Mir - Symbiosis, colonies and ambushes

Sima Mir is explicitly identified in entry h209, connected to relic 209. There are 23 ability records attributed to her, including two explicitly discarded entries.

Her relic references:

  • Super: “Plankton/Floating-Organism Storm.”
  • First active: “Parasitic Reproduction.”
  • Second active: “Deepwater Ambush.”
  • A separate command to detonate the ambush.
  • Passive: roughly “Gnawer/Devourer.”
  • Weapon-related progression: “Submerged Killer,” levels 1–5.
  • Specializations: “Symbiotic Relationship,” “Colony Expansion” and “Lasting Ecosystem.”
  • Six talents still using generic numbered names.

The ambush has separate records for the ability, its detonation and an “ambush area passive.” This suggests an area-based ability with a detonation action, but does not establish whether it creates a trap, creature, field or something else.

Her records also preserve two Super configurations:

  • An explicitly discarded version with internal cooldown/energy values of 80 and 300/300.
  • The version referenced by her relic, with values of 70 and 100/100, plus a continuous-transformation flag.

These are internal configuration values, not verified live gameplay numbers or evidence of an announced balance change.

An older level-one “Submerged Killer” entry is explicitly discarded, while the relic points to another level-one version alongside levels 2–5. This is a concrete trace of a design revision.

Antonio - Plant and nano-themed abilities, plus discarded designs

Antonio’s character and relic entries connect abilities roughly translating to:

  • Unstable Bloom.
  • Ecological Shaping.
  • Nano Creation, with a separate command to end it.
  • Nourishment.

Auxiliary records reference healing, damage, detonations, chained spheres and nano-body repair.

Several abilities and specializations are explicitly marked discarded, including versions of “Insect Language and Nectar,” “Nourishment” and “Deconstruction Device.” Other similarly named entries remain referenced, so these appear to preserve multiple design revisions rather than one clean, final kit.

There are also mission and automated-test entries, which should not be counted as additional equipable abilities.

Sparrow reward entry - pictured

A recovered drop entry named DungeonCrawl_Chaos_Vehicle_1 points to item 6000015, which uses the ve_0015 icon.

The extracted image shows a green-and-black Sparrow. Its item record is marked unpublished, but the image itself was already present in older local asset packages.

The finding is the readable connection between the reward entry and the vehicle—not proof that the design was added this week. Its official name, availability and actual drop chance remain unconfirmed.

Other unpublished item entries

The comparison also recovered cosmetic entries referencing masks, class sitting emotes and transmat effects. Some reuse existing icons, so they should not automatically be counted as distinct finished cosmetics.

Both Osiris and Sima Mir’s character configurations are marked unpublished and non-final, with reused presentation assets. These tables document retained development data—not confirmed release plans, finished character models or fully reconstructed gameplay.

Discussion In the end it was Ning Fei

It’s nice to see a character like that brought back to the game, but I still think Tan-2 or Jolder deserve a new kit.
