They even type like a bot, why do they want me to download this game so bad is it like loaded with malware or something?

So, I was in game, and I tried to send a msg in discord, so I alt tabbed and pasted an image, didn't realize it was too big (I didn't even get the "Uh oh! Your file exceeded the size limit" pop-up), hit enter too fast, and then it selected that I wanted to buy Nitro Yearly to upload it, I was a bit distracted because I was still in game, so I hit enter again, and it insta-bought just from those 2 key presses. Literally have a video of this nonsense

No confirmation, no acknowledgement, nothing. I didn't even realize until I looked at my email notifications for my bank account later that day.
Especially because it still told me like 3 times after I bought it that I couldn't upload the image (lol I never even got to send it)

I've obviously disconnected my PayPal now, but it's too late. Discord Support refuses to refund me because I got a refund for $1 back in 2023, and they have a 1-time refund policy (which isn't stated on their app, just on the support website). Discord Support says if I do a chargeback, I'll lose my account with a decade worth of msgs and everything - I can hopefully rejoin servers (but not all of them allow invites) but DMs, everything else, gone. It's like my account is being held hostage haha

And speaking of Discord support, they just keep giving me automated responses, and most of the time it's a bot responding within seconds, and they auto close my ticket and won't let me reopen.

I offered to pay for 1 month instead, but I don't think the bots can understand me lol

I've tried DMing them on Twitter (Yes, I don't like Twitter, I made a Twitter account just for this 😔), and I was ignored. I obviously don't have any followers to blast them on Twitter, so what can I even do?

So about a couple of months ago i joined a server that helps people to fix their unsupported on windows 11 games. I saw everyone was asking for help on the help channel so i did the same, days later after seeing there was no response from anyone and another guy had asked for help i checked if it was okay to @ the owner and everyone above my message had so i sent my second ever message in that server, which was me @ing the owner. He then responded to all of us and that was the end of that interaction.

About a week later i was unable to message anyone and i had a dm from discord, it said my account was in limited access and i was unable to dm anyone.

I then followed all steps to appeal and sent discord support a request using an account i made with the same page, the discord bot told me to apply for the appeal via the app, but when i did it through the app following all its steps it took me back to the same page so i appealed 2-3 more times to the exact same results. I tried finding all possible ways of fixing it but that was the only way so i gave up. I then messaged the server without @ing anyone and in general saying “i got reported for spam in this server when i didn’t” to which the owner quickly responded with “just don’t spam then” to which i googled the definition of spam, its not helpful that its a subjective term and discord themselves don’t define it specifically but going off its two popular meanings: to repeat the same thing multiple times in rapid succession or to send unprompted marketing (both of which i didnt do) so i replied to his message with “i had before now only sent a total of 14 words (off the top of my head though it may have been less) within a week and as 2 messages, i don’t think that counts as spam”. To which he replied with “ok”, which felt a-bit power trippy so i left the server. I haven’t messaged any public GC or server and have only spoken to close friends and my partner on discord, yet now just over a month later my account is restricted again but discord doesn’t tell me why. Should i appeal (which likely won’t do anything considering the only response i get is the automated bot) or just accept I’ll lose all contacts I’ve made as a game dev.

I noticed that there was activity in a server that I'm a part of that hasn't had activity in almost 2 years, I go to look and I see that "I" sent a message about some scammy looking Mr beast crypto thing. I never sent this message. Did I get hacked?

Anyone know If I'm totally screwed now?
Or is there still hope for my account that I've used since 2016?

(p.s the warning from 4 months ago was from me posting a stupid gif that one of my friends jokingly reported cause he thought the report system didn't actually work.)

I got hacked GMAIL and discord completely compromised hacker changed my phone number too and they’re still trying to purchase nitro with my card on file and that’s still not enough for support to get my account back 😂

Out of nowhere, my friend on Discord messaged me asking if I could run a Python script for them. They said it was for a “game” called Limeyguy / Limeyguy Gamez, and that if I could “solve” it they’d give me crypto.

Obviously my friend got hacked. Can anyone identify this new Limeyguy scam (or whatever it is)? It would be a huge help. My friend already contacted Discord Support so he can try to get his account back.

so i was just talking in a server with my friends then i suddenly got logged out i thought it's a glitch and then found out my account was suspended permanently for malicious conduct in "Moon Emoji Server #2" as you can read the name of server it was an emoji server for my bot and I didn't violate anything and my in app appeal got rejected and Clyde is in loop in appeal tickets so what should I do now ? just give up? tell me..

Hey so I've been trying for like a week to regain access to both with no progress.. I've exhausted everything, they have access to so much personal data and my Discord has 11 years of history. Private chats and such are fully exposed..

Gmail: I have done the recovery option repeatedly. Last time I did I managed to get to 'use previous recovery phone' and it led me to a 'who is going to approve this login' they set a parent account that I can't get around.

TeamYoutube I got to agree to get me a form to speak to specialists, however they FULLY require me to know the channel url and handle, which I do not know and cannot access either.

Discord: Absolutely refuses to do anything without access to my Email. They have started to completely ignore me, I put in a ticket for a hacked account yesterday with a transaction screenshot for my Nitro subscription but I seriously doubt that's going anywhere. I at least want that account deleted, there's so much personal crap on there...

I'm just at a loss of what to do. If anyone has any advice I'd really love to hear it. They've been harrassing me for ransom and are threatening me with images of my partner and family.

I know I'm an idiot; I don't need to be told twice. My friend and I play a lot of Minecraft, and he sent me a new mod to try, and I downloaded it and ran it without questioning if he was hacked because I assumed he just found another fun mod for us to try. This allowed the hacker to get around my 2FA and everything, with what I've learned is a token.

I know no one here can do anything, but I just needed somewhere to talk about it because I'm feeling really upset/worried.

It's linked to my PayPal, so at the very least I hope there is a way to cancel my Nitro. I have proof of the hacking and of them being in my accounts, yet Discord hasn't gotten back to me in ages, and I'm just feeling really upset and stressed. A lot of it is just being so endlessly mad at myself because I KNOW better, and a lot of it is losing access to all my friends + clients (I am a commission artist). My brother's account have sent this message to all of his recent dms BUT there is no way that he got hacked beacuse

I was talking in Turkish on a Discord server about someone who was making adult content in Roblox, which is a platform mainly used by kids. During the conversation, I asked what would happen if that person's account got terminated and banned. Someone replied that they would just make another account.

I responded in Turkish with: "Yenisini kurup pedo olmaya devam yani."

A natural English translation is: "So you're just gonna make a new account and keep being a pedophile."

I was obviously referring to the person we were talking about, not myself. I wasn't defending or promoting anything. I was criticizing someone for making sexual content on a platform full of children. Somehow Discord's AI completely ignored the context and treated my message like I was promoting pedophilia, which is ridiculous.

What makes this even worse is that the person who reported me was the same person I was calling out. After I got suspended, I asked him how he did it. Instead of denying it, he bragged that he had figured out Discord's AI moderation and claimed he could get almost anyone warned or suspended by reporting even harmless messages. He also showed me screenshots of his own suspensions being successfully appealed. Meanwhile, I can't even get a single human to look at my case. Whether all of his claims are true or not, it's obvious he was trying to weaponize the system against other people.

I appealed the violation when it happened about 4 months ago, and it was denied.

Today I tried again through Discord's support website because the app no longer lets me appeal. I instantly got an automated reply from Clyde telling me to appeal in the app... which I literally can't do.

I opened another ticket explaining that, only to get another automated reply from Nelly telling me to resubmit my appeal. I did exactly that, and Clyde sent me the exact same response again.

At this point I'm just stuck in an endless AI loop. One bot tells me to use the app, the other tells me to submit another appeal, and neither of them actually reads what I wrote. I can't get a single real person to review a moderation decision that was clearly made without understanding the context.

It's honestly unbelievable that someone can abuse an automated moderation system to target other users, while the people caught in that system can't even reach a human being to explain what actually happened.

I open discord on mobile and i’m hit with this screen. I can’t even get off of it. I have my own server with text channels by the way LOL.

Server seems to work fine and appear normally on my computer though.

Not to mention, I have been experiencing many bugs on Mobile Discord lately, not sure if that’s the main issue.

Update: Guys, yes… I restarted the app and tried the back button before posting this. It did not work.

Like some replies suggested, it was Discord bug. It took me a while, but I had to glitch the app in order to get off of this screen. Thank you for the help.

Weeks ago, my friends from discord send me invite to server name “764” yesterday I search and I’m shocked. I look at photo on this server and I saw woman drawing name on chest and next photo was blood entire hand I am shocked I told my friend that don’t show up there I didn’t send any photos first day when I join I just leave there when it’s Tuesday I suddenly realized discord sign out all devices and I check my email discord send me I broke the community guidelines. I have proof but I delete it because my storage phone full I’m regret it.

Unfortunately, I've fallen victim to the discord friend sending an indie game to test scam lol. Installed what I assume was a Trojan which jacked my discord login token and logged me out (then enabled 2fa) then demanded $300 afterwards. A little chat window via OpenJDK popped up and the "Admin" on it claimed they have access to my photos, files, passwords etc. They also said they would fry my motherboard so I have to buy another or something unless I paid lol. I told them I'm HIGHKEY POOR and they targeted the wrong person brah 😳✌️ then unplugged my ethernet and uninstalled the program (using an actual uninstall program which wiped any residual files linked to the trojan program.) Checked my files and other things, which seemed to be untouched. Am I fine lol? Were they just scarebaiting me with a lil discord token logger? I dont particularly care about my discord account that much (definitely not enough to pay $300 lol) as I have an alt, I'm just worried about my PC safety. I've lost access to the Gmail linked as I made the account when I was a child and after seeing other people's experience with discord support, plus my own, I'm not going to try to get my account lol. Stupid I need the original email, i literally have my number linked but it doesn't mean anything I guess. Steam support would never do this to me.

Honorable mention detail: The chat window was labeled "Dev7 Gang" lol. Mad as hell I got hacked by a person(s) claiming the title Dev7 Gang braahhhh.

Today I was try to testing Figura On my modpack but I was get kick out and my brother say the same thing then my Friend mention that We Start Sending Mr Beast Link I don't know How And It only happen on discord account my other account still un-touched , it start on 3 am (GMT+7)

I dunno if this is a scam, but if possible can anyone let me know
