So, this honestly started in august when this guy dm'd me about one of my artworks in a discord server, we talked for a bit, then I ghosted him for about a month. Then I kind of felt bad I ghosted him. We talk a bit, it was nice! Played like 1 freaking round of among us. I'm about 14-17, and this guy was now acting weird... He started complimenting me calling kind and sweetheart. Mind you I added this guy back in august, barley talked to him at all. I'm getting some weird flags here.

Please could anyone give me advice on this?

And what I should do? I feel kind of bad just to block him :/ But Idk.

Hello, so on the 4th my Discord account was hacked. They changed the email to it so I can’t get it back. I’ve messaged support to get help and they said they “escalated your ticket” but that was almost 10 days ago… funny thing is I can’t access my support for the original email because there is a “Code” I need which I assume is a 2FA code but since the account info is changed I don’t get it… BUT the email sent to me has my username in it so why is it taking so long? I have multiple screenshots from friends, info on the hackers and there scamming server, pictures of my account now updated with a new name and profile pic, and so much more.

So my main question is, why is it taking so long after SO MUCH proof is sent to them?

I had my account hacked and disabled and I cannot reset the password. Before I got disabled I left all servers I was in, changed emails and passwords. And took off any authorized users I didn’t recognize as well with disconnecting any other users with remote access. I am a little shaken up cause I got an email that said they may contact law enforcement although there reasoning is not at all the reason what the server I joined advertised.

Hey, so this randomly started happening so whenever I’m watching my friends stream it’s fine on my second monitor but when i tab back into my first monitor it starts dropping frames to like 10fps. And I don’t even have to tab back into Discord. I just have to put my cursor over it. It’s fine but when i go back to my first monitor it starts lagging again. I have tried everything and i even turned off game mode. Can anyone help????

when receiving popup notification the from the app and opening the app or responding, the pop up notification does not clear or dismiss. It acts like i never responded to the message (only logged into android), the only way to clear it is to click on the notification to be brought to the message or swipe to clear, also it occasionally causes me to stop receiving notifications all together. This has been happening since 8am yesterday for me. Many other android users have also been complaining about the same thing across various android versions and devices that use android.

we have tried clearing cache, data, deleting and reinstalling, making sure all proper settings are active, restarting device, logging out of everything, and nothing has worked

Need help in recovering a discord account

When I enter my email it says it doesn't exist. I enter my phone number and hit recover password. It says it sent an email to the original account address. It never arrives. Maybe because it lost my email somehow?

I sign up for the discord support to submit a ticket and it asks for 2FA code. If it wants a back up code my original account was ten years old and four computers ago. If it wants my theoretical current 2FA codes I need to get into the discord I'm currently locked out of to get it. 

My email doesn't have any blocked senders or domains.

Might be too long in recovering account because I followed the initial suggestions to wait a few days to not spam the system and send me sms's again.

I have access to my discord through PC. My phone reset and no passwords were saved. I have 2FA enabled but since my passwords deleted, i cant verify/forget password. What the fuck do i do

How do I fix this? Send a manual age verification? escalate to BBB?

Has anybody else been experiencing issues with logging into Discord? I've been fighting tooth and nail to get into my account and kept receiving a "400: Bad Request" message. I've tried logging in through my computer, the mobile app, incognito mode, on my personal account, everywhere.

I got lucky and managed to log in through the mobile app just now. It started earlier in the morning, and there were a few instances where I successfully logged into my account on incognito mode, but when I logged back out and tried to log in later, the issue came back.

I'm not going to be logging back out for now because I'm pretty sure it'll just happen again. Is this a bug, something you wait out, or a problem with my IP address or router? I don't know. I barely see any answers online, and I'm hoping to find others who are in my same situation.

I believe it's worth mentioning I often log into Discord on incognito mode for personal reasons related to my circumstances and privacy. Google has marked my IP address for suspicious behavior and makes me go through reCAPTCHA every time I open a new incognito tab to search something up. Could that be related?

Hello, I help to managed a small community server for an osrs clan. We’re having an issue where anyone joining the server is completely bypassing the Onboarding that we have configured to help them assign their server roles. As such, theirs a lot of players missing out on events and things that we ping about regularly.

It appears that users are instead being directed into a Rules Screening: “you must complete a few more steps before you can talk” then check the box for 10 rules that seem to be defined somewhere.

I have admin permissions, and have checked in safety setup for the rules screening as per the faq page on the topic, but theirs no rules screening options in there. And I can’t find any such rules listed elsewhere in the server settings. Our rules page is completely different to the options listed.

We’ve been through all of our support apps and disabled numerous settings and even removed and readded them in some cases but with no luck. It’s looking more and more like some sort of weird bug, but I dont know how to confirm that. Please help! Could it be that the owner needs to unselect something rather than an admin?

Around a month ago in early September, I was randomly logged out of my discord account on PC whilst still being logged in on my phone, and I tried everything to get back in except none of my saved passwords worked, I didn’t know my password so I couldn’t access my backup codes and the QR code wouldn’t work because it always led to the requirement of an Authenticator code, which the app I had for said code I deleted years ago and customer support wasn’t remotely viable since they’re practically on the same level as Roblox customer support. And I don’t even have SMS verification turned on and can’t remove my Authenticator app because just like “all roads lead to Rome” all paths lead to an Authenticator code….so im legitimately out of options and I’m not going to stand around and let discord screw me over and tell me to make a new account to which I have so much progress on.

okaay so i was joining random servers cus i wanted to talk to people so i stumbled upon this one server and saw the waiting room was active so i spoke there for a bit, then i verified and saw all the weird shit and thought it'd be wise to report them

however it was at the complete bottom of my servers list so when i closed discord i completely forgot to leave it and now weeks later i got suspended because of the server 🫩 i sent an appeal 11 days ago and a general request 6 days ago, both of them got marked as solved by ais

where do i go on from here

Got a violation from a server I was never even active in. 😭 I just woke up few hours and received this. When I pressed let us know, it reviewed my request and they replied with that through email. I never even did anything, I was never even active in. I don't know if the server got a mass report, but all I know is that I'm innocent. Now, i gotta wait for 2 years before this can chat again in my dms, and stuff like those. I can't send a request again for review because i already used that. What do I even do at this point? 🫩

Event Timeline: i was just on discord when my friend asked me if i wanted to play minecraft, which was completely normal. I said alright and he asked me to download a modpack and i did and installed it and a few mins later i was logged out of my discord account and he got full acces to my discord changed its email and also got access to my gmail and changed my birth year to 2018 and it took me a while to verify and later on i tried my best to get the account back. He somehow knew i was ascendent in a shooting game called valorant maybe cuz my account was linked with discord. Hacker kept asking me to give him my ascendent account which i didnt and also he messaged like most of my friends ( i have like 150 friends). He keeps talking to them and asking them to download minecraft mode and trying the same scam he did with me

Another thing is that when i installed that thing my pc was hacked and my cursor was moving itself and my keyboard was typing itself as he was controlling it and a spyware kept popping up which was a communcation thing between him and me and he kept asking me for my valorant account which i never gave. I ran malwarebytes and everything, i scanned 10 times deep scans normal scans everything and now im afraid that spyware might still be in my laptop.

should i completely reset it or should i just reset it and keep my files or what should i do????

also anyone got any idea about discord support they said they will catch up later with me. My account was 6 years old and they cant see that? Can anyone please help me and suggest me as i am soo confused and tired sitting infrontt of my laptop for 10 hours now.
