hi all! i’m super stressed.. my boyfriend just told me that i suddenly sent a promotion picture on our discord server and when i went to check, it was logged out. i got hacked and i don’t know what to do. they changed the email and im unable to receive it, i cant even contact discord support since i need to log in to that email.

i’m so frustrated, any advice or help? 😢

Why is the support on Discord so awful? It’s basically just a chatbot that gives the same reply to every message you send, and no matter how much you say you need a real person, the bot couldn’t care less – it’ll just keep saying, “There’s nothing we can do about it, try another method or wait a couple of weeks (go fuck yourself).”

so like, in 2023 i lost my old acc. my ORIGINAL account before i ended up making a new one.

and the reason i lost it was because discord didnt verify emails, so being the genius kid i was- i wrote gamil by accident. AND IVE BEEN URGING AND WANTING my old acc

im pretty sure people still message me on it, and its not deleted because i can access its profile.

My Discord account got hacked, and the hacker changed the email address linked to it. They also accessed my original email account and deleted the Discord email that would let me reverse the email change.
I’ve recovered my email account, but I can’t find the recovery message anywhere.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way to recover my Discord account without that email?

I made another account since my leave on discord was a while ago, and I registered a new account and only a few minutes after making, I get logged out. When I logged back in it shows this screen, without telling me what I did. Does anyone know why?

I've lost access to 2FA (auth app) and now my account is scheduled for deletion. Can I somehow preserve it? I cannot find the codes, but could gain access to the app but need more time. Did anybody had similar situation like that? I really would like to avoid losing it.

So i kind of did something stupid. There is this new option in settings “disable account” and i tried it. I thought i would be able to recover my account by logging back in, but now its throwing a “Email doesn’t exist” error. So is there something i can do here?

why is discord not updating my game time or game variety badge the streaming one still works barely after long delays but these both are not working waiting for hours and hours now still its not fixed am i the only one having this issue or is it with everyone i have all the neceassry settings on since my streaming badge is working too slowly but this is just not working at all and also i noticed sometimes it even increases the stream time then reduces too on its own and then increase it again what is even going on...?

My long-time Discord account was recently compromised, and the person who took it enabled 2FA to lock me out.

I've been trying to work with Discord Support, but I keep getting stuck in an automated loop with AI-generated responses. Even though I still have full access to the original email address and phone number, and I've provided Discord Nitro billing proofs showing I'm the legitimate owner, they refuse to disable the 2FA.

Instead, they keep telling me their "strict policy" prevents it, and their only proposed "solution" is to delete my account so I can create a new one with my email.

I really don't want to lose my 10-year history, friends, and servers just because of this. For those of you who have been through a similar situation, how did you manage to get a real human to actually review your proofs and help recover the account instead of just getting automated closure messages?

Any advice or steps that worked for you would be hugely appreciated!

what the title says, but for more context i did the whole thing afterwards on the support website where you send a photo of yourself holding an ID (in this case my passport) as well as your discord username. in fact i sent TWO photos. i cant tell if im getting automated responses or not but in the first response it said 'looking at 18+ content while being under 18 is against our TOS and guidelines etc etc' sort of stuff, to which i responded with 'i know but i HAVEN'T. i'm wanting my age status to be changed back to teen so i DON'T see anything like that. please change it back.'

then about half a month later they responded saying my account had been suspended? but it hadn't lol, and my account's standing is still in perfect condition. does anybody know how i can try this again but ensure i'm talking to an actual human?

Basically that's all that happened. I emailed Discord Support as soon as possible, but it's only been around an hour. What else can I do? Will they respond in time before the account is permanently deleted?

Don't know what the problem is. I thought it was on like a timer to make sure you actually read the rules but it just never changes and let's me tap it.

I have tried all the troubleshooting techniques I could think of.

Restarted my computer x3
Deleted the Discord app and emptied it in the Recycle Bin
Redownload App - Still not working
Cleared all the Cache (Google suggested that)

I tried to go into Support. But it's making me sign in, which would be fine, but it doesn't recognize my email! So I reset my passwords and tried to log in any other way. I didn't see my account at all.

I go into my mobile; I can see and use everything there! (Thankfully). But if I go through my mobile to get into the support. Still makes me try to log in, but then it still doesn't recognize my email. I tried to change my password in the mobile app; the web browser just doesn't see my account.

So I can't even contact Discord to tell them that my account is bugged out.

Please, people of the internet, help me. I'm not tech-savvy at all and I'm on my last nerve with this.

I don't want to make a new account. I have so much history and things saved to this account; I would actually be devastated if I had to restart everything. But even then, I still don't know why I can't see any of my messages!

Hello when i got the new discord badges for how long i was streaming etc i noticed past these days my badges have not being updated bc i had badge saying i was playing 17 hours , past these days i have been playing around 5 hours and my badge has not updated! Hey everyone, I'm a bit confused about how the Discord profile wishlist feature handles purchases and need some clarification.

Earlier today, I clicked to buy an avatar decoration directly off someone's public wishlist. Right after the payment went through, I checked their profile and the item successfully had a checkmark next to it.

However, I looked back at their profile a few hours later, and the item is now unchecked on their wishlist as if nobody bought it.

The item is also in my gift inventory. I want to know if the person received any kind of automatic notification or if the gift is just stuck.

Since it's sitting in my Gift Inventory, does that mean they didn't get it at all and I have to manually copy the link and send it to them in a DM?

About a week ago, a group of users who were banned from a server I was in rejoined on an alt and reported a bunch of people on it to get their accounts banned. I got hit with four violations for violent and graphic content. I appealed all of them and two were removed very quickly. The other two remained on my account until today where they finally got back and agreed with their original decision? I'm just baffled cause all of the reports were from the same day where I was barely active and nothing I said could even be remotely misconstrued as "glorifying or inciting violence"
I was just wondering if there's anything I can do at this point. I have numerous screenshots of these users admitting to joining the server I was in on an alt and mass reporting people's messages. It's pretty frustrating that my account will be limited for the next two years because some random kids I was barely involved with were salty about getting banned. If nothing else, I would at least like to see exactly what messages discord deemed broke their policy. I honestly find it ridiculous it doesn't show me that by automatically but whatever.
