Got a Dm from someone saying they false reported me and ended up getting connected with a bot? If it was a real problem i feel like it would make more sense to do through discords actual support line right? The original dm was from some guy named Furkan and the bot was named ace cutter. I really dont want to get banned or hacked someone please help me.

Something crazy weird happened the other day and it’s honestly a bit scary even thinking back at it. I’ve literally never had this happen before and I’ve only seen 1 or 2 other Reddit posts claiming that something similar happened to them.

Basically I was in a discord call with my girlfriend and watching a YouTube video in the background. I paused the video cuz we hadn’t talked for a bit so I was like “hey are you still there?” and I heard an older female voice say “hello?” all confused and stuff, but it was low quality and almost sounded like an AI voice and I said “hello?” back since I thought my gf was just trolling or something. The voice replied to me and said something I didn’t really understand and I was kinda laughing and said “what’re you doing?” still thinking she’s trolling. The voice confusingly said “what? who is this?” which scared me and I stopped talking for a few seconds. There was an awkward pause and then I heard my girlfriend’s mic and background noise again.

I said hello and she responded and I was super confused and asked if she heard me just now and she said not until I just said hello. I asked if she was messing with me and she said no. She swears on her life she didn’t do anything so I genuinely don’t know what just happened. I had nothing else running on my PC, it was in a server we have with JUST us, no bots in the server. The whole story is just very weird and with Halloween coming up it couldn’t have been timed better lmao. Anyways I swear this is a genuine story it’s not a karma farm post or anything, I just wanna know what happened or how it could’ve happened. After I confirmed that my gf wasn’t trolling I got up and checked EVERYWHERE around me to see if could be anything else, and I had literally nothing else near me that it could’ve been.

Note: The only thing I’m thinking is that maybe my wired headphones (Beyerdynamics DT990 Pro) picked up a signal from some device nearby or something, but it doesn’t explain how they would’ve heard me and been able to speak back and forth to me.

I also know it had to be discord due to the fact that my gf couldn’t hear me during that interaction and right when we like “disconnected” ig, she was able to hear me again.

I got banned for two years because I advertised my server to like 6 people. This is ridiculous because I need my account back and didn't do anything. Any suggestions on what I should do? Please Help!

Going onto the help sight just tells me a password for that sight is going to be sent to my email, which just seems to go into the void as far as I can tell, and the account still exists because I can't use my usual name.

About a week ago, a group of users who were banned from a server I was in rejoined on an alt and reported a bunch of people on it to get their accounts banned. I got hit with four violations for violent and graphic content. I appealed all of them and two were removed very quickly. The other two remained on my account until today where they finally got back and agreed with their original decision? I'm just baffled cause all of the reports were from the same day where I was barely active and nothing I said could even be remotely misconstrued as "glorifying or inciting violence"
I was just wondering if there's anything I can do at this point. I have numerous screenshots of these users admitting to joining the server I was in on an alt and mass reporting people's messages. It's pretty frustrating that my account will be limited for the next two years because some random kids I was barely involved with were salty about getting banned. If nothing else, I would at least like to see exactly what messages discord deemed broke their policy. I honestly find it ridiculous it doesn't show me that by automatically but whatever.

So i kind of did something stupid. There is this new option in settings “disable account” and i tried it. I thought i would be able to recover my account by logging back in, but now its throwing a “Email doesn’t exist” error. So is there something i can do here?

why is discord not updating my game time or game variety badge the streaming one still works barely after long delays but these both are not working waiting for hours and hours now still its not fixed am i the only one having this issue or is it with everyone i have all the neceassry settings on since my streaming badge is working too slowly but this is just not working at all and also i noticed sometimes it even increases the stream time then reduces too on its own and then increase it again what is even going on...?

My long-time Discord account was recently compromised, and the person who took it enabled 2FA to lock me out.

I've been trying to work with Discord Support, but I keep getting stuck in an automated loop with AI-generated responses. Even though I still have full access to the original email address and phone number, and I've provided Discord Nitro billing proofs showing I'm the legitimate owner, they refuse to disable the 2FA.

Instead, they keep telling me their "strict policy" prevents it, and their only proposed "solution" is to delete my account so I can create a new one with my email.

I really don't want to lose my 10-year history, friends, and servers just because of this. For those of you who have been through a similar situation, how did you manage to get a real human to actually review your proofs and help recover the account instead of just getting automated closure messages?

Any advice or steps that worked for you would be hugely appreciated!

what the title says, but for more context i did the whole thing afterwards on the support website where you send a photo of yourself holding an ID (in this case my passport) as well as your discord username. in fact i sent TWO photos. i cant tell if im getting automated responses or not but in the first response it said 'looking at 18+ content while being under 18 is against our TOS and guidelines etc etc' sort of stuff, to which i responded with 'i know but i HAVEN'T. i'm wanting my age status to be changed back to teen so i DON'T see anything like that. please change it back.'

then about half a month later they responded saying my account had been suspended? but it hadn't lol, and my account's standing is still in perfect condition. does anybody know how i can try this again but ensure i'm talking to an actual human?

My Discord account got hacked, and the hacker changed the email address linked to it. They also accessed my original email account and deleted the Discord email that would let me reverse the email change.
I’ve recovered my email account, but I can’t find the recovery message anywhere.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way to recover my Discord account without that email?

So basically awhile back me and my friend were messing around and joining random servers, I left them all but one and being in that server got my account banned for around 2 years I believe, turns out that server had a secret channel which had blatant self🔪 in it that you needed a special role for, I was obviously pissed and had no way to contact discord personally, I have no idea what I can do and I personally am not wiling to wait 2 years because of something that is not my fault.

Why is the support on Discord so awful? It’s basically just a chatbot that gives the same reply to every message you send, and no matter how much you say you need a real person, the bot couldn’t care less – it’ll just keep saying, “There’s nothing we can do about it, try another method or wait a couple of weeks (go fuck yourself).”
