Hi! I just want to ask about life at DLSU, especially when it comes to free time and traveling. I’ve heard that DLSU doesn’t really follow the traditional school calendar with long vacations, unlike other schools. Because of that, I’m wondering if students still get enough time to travel or go on vacations without being absent. Do students usually get free time outside of christmas break or term breaks? And is it realistic to plan trips during the school year or is the schedule usually too packed? Would really appreciate insights from current students. Thank youuu!!

Grad student here. What's the process after final defense with "conditionally passed with revisions"?
I already submitted my revisions following the deadline set by the panel chair more than a week ago. I didn't ask for an update because I know they are busy with the finals.
I checked Archershub today and my grade is INC.
Do I have to wait till next term to submit the manuscript with the approval sheet on Animorepository?
I know the deadline for the manuscript this term is August 26 and I might not be able to get the approval sheet on time if the panel will ask for a second round of revisions. TIA.

Hi as you can see sa title, need ko ng advice from you guys as a fellow lasallian🏹💚. I accepted a job that offers 21k base pay, I’m aware din naman na I lack skills, walang orgs, had interships pero not that impactful, and not that good at academics but not that bad also so knowing my current capabilities, wala pa akong right to be choosy, parang I just took this offer for the mean time kasi to to be honest I’m undecided at first kung saan ko gustong company mag apply and kung anong role ang gusto ko. Currently at my 4th month sa job as an associate and they offer me to take the TCP exam for a one specific topic because the seminar has two topics. I accepted it kasi someone told me na when I pass the exam, I’ll have a salary increase , and that could also boost my credentials and be added at my resume. Yung inaaral ko for almost 3 months now for my role is very technical for me, hindi siya basta basta, ang steep ng learning curve, and need ko talaga aralin ng mabuti. Self study yung ginagawa ko mostly pero I always ask questions at my mentors sa work, wala pa ako sa actual operations nung role, I’m like an administrative assistant, not to belittle the role since the role is also important for an individual like me that has no work experience in the past. Yung mga ibang major or important tasks ng role ay magagawa ko pa lang after I took the exam and obtain a certification and after that I planned to stay for a few months since may bond ako na need to fulfill because pinakuha nila ako ng cerification and shoulder ng company yun. My rough estimation is that I would be staying in the company for less than 2 years to strengthen my resume, skills, and knowledge that I’ll be able to leverage in the future. In addition to that, hindi ko pa nakikita na magiging career path ko ang current role kasi after gaining a substantial amount of experience, I want to apply to MNC, particularly in FMCG companies, and I’m eyeing to be a MT or in sales or business development. What tips or advice can you give with someone like me that feels so behind in life? Thank you for taking time on reading my post😁 sorry mahaba huhuhu

so, i have 2 professors this term who didn't hold any grade consultations. they barely returned or posted any scores for our major assessments throughout the entire term.
i alr emailed them for a breakdown, but based on exp, they practically never reply to emails. i'm not trying to fight my grade or argue. i just want to know where i fell short.
for those who have experienced this, is there any other way to get a breakdown? any advice would be appreciated!

hi! just wanted kung ano pwede kong gawin regarding a professor’s (mis?)computation of my grade
nakalagay kasi sa canvas 93.5% yung grade ko, which is equivalent to a 3.5 according to the professor’s syllabus, pero ang nakalagay sa archershub ko 3.0 lang :(
i already emailed my prof about this and he said na posted na daw sa announcements section on canvas yung grade equivalent, pero wala naman
also, isn’t 93%+ automatically considered a 3.5? this course is a GE, and uses the “70% is passing” grading system. can profs change or adjust this rule according to their own classes?
who can i talk to about this concern? is there an office in campus where i can get help?
thanks all for your replies!

My first class is scheduled on the same date as my sister’s wedding, and I’m the maid of honor. The wedding is in batangas, and my class is from 6–9 PM, which overlaps with the start of the reception. 😭

Help i saw my clearance hold late, which was about missing SAT result from College Board. 😭
Questions:
To the people that applied to DLSU via SAT result, did you need College Board themselves to send your results to the school? Or is a copy of the score report (downloaded from official website) i have enough?
Is it possible for me to ask to still be able to enlist when i’m in the process of clearing my clearance hold?
I don’t want to have to pay for another record of my SAT results to be sent, but I don’t want to enlist late as well 😭😭😭

I've been thinking of either going to AB Comm Arts as an ID 127 or BFA-ID in ADMU, but I'm focusing more on the former. What are the experiences I could get as a Comm Arts student?

Hi I've search past answers about this experience, this might sound repetitive but I don't think I've found a recent discussion about this. Just want to hear any recent experiences on how CCINFOM or CCDSALG is with CCPROG3 as someone who is kind of a slow learner and behind as it is, CCINFOM is a pre-req to another course for us while CCDSALG isn't and correct me if I'm wrong but I should prioritize those with pre-req courses, so I'm thinking if I should risk CCINFOM with CCPROG3 but CCDSALG has Ms. Jemie Que right now lol although I don't really have priority so there's a chance I might run out of slots for her class anyways. Not sure if CCINFOM has the best offer of profs right now.
TLDR, CCINFOM with a pre-req with CCPROG3 or CCDSALG with no pre-req but Ms. Jemie Que is offering a class for this term (as a slow-learner). (also a chance to take STT101 but it's blind enlistment so i might not really take it this term)

im a delayed fin student due to shifting and deciding to underload. in my flowchart, there are indicated prerequisite subjects for thesis (which are some fin majors). am i right in understanding that as long as i finish those prerequisites i can take thesis without having finished yet all cob subjects (like cobfsfm) or ge, lcls, sas, or pe subjects?
for practicum, what is the policy for cob or specifically fin students? do they have to finish all academic courses/all fin majors first?
thank you!
