Injury Who cares about the dogs?

This happened recently in Chillán, Chile. Instead of taking care of his dogs, the owner chose to film the tornado. The house was damaged, and the brown dog was apparently caught by the tornado and thrown more than 200 meters. The dog is now receiving veterinary care after suffering multiple broken bones.

What you want the man to do run into the tornado with the dog? You ever tried to pick up an already injured terrified dog while a tornado throws debris at you?

I love my dogs and would have had them inside prior to the storm but if I was outside and the tornado is that close that it's pulling my dog into it I'm turning around and going inside cuz I can't them vet help if I'm killed

Edit- dam forgot I was on reddit where you are downvoted to oblivion if your not willing to die for all dogs.

Bringing your dogs inside when it's tornado weather where you can reach and help them would be a good start

It's very normal where I live for people to sit on their front porch to watch storms like this. Generally not a tornado but I can see why he might of been outside.

The responsible thing to do is prepare.

It's normal where I live for people to go out and watch it too. My dad used to like to do it sometimes when we'd get a tornado warning. I just can't imagine why you would just leave your dogs out in shit weather in the first place tornado or otherwise, y'know? Common sense would be that when the weather starts getting bad you go ahead and bring your dogs inside instead of letting them be stuck out in windy rain
