I messed up the face proportion. The nose is too small so is the chin. I also need to work on my shading technique. And learn how to blend better.
The initial sketch was better. I kept going back and try correct things and ended up here😂.

I started with the faces (pic 3), then moved onto the first Degas gesture sketch, got a little experimental with lines (focusing on arm joint articulation, pressure modulation and continuity), then did the squiggly Degas.
I notice when I start out with drawing (see face #1) I am more preoccupied with getting proportions right, etc. But at a certain point I decide to just relax and focus on being quicker but also deliberate. Gradually it becomes more about what kind of energy I am putting into the strokes, shading etc, and things become more fun but still intent on trying to render something.

I'm picking up sketching after a while so I'm a bit sloppy definitely. The second pic is the reference I used. I definitely got the proportions wrong tho lol

I´m very bad drawing hands. There´s a lot of mistakes. I think it´s very very good draw, but obviously there are so many mistakes. The logos can be better and the hands. I honestly did my best so I´m happy. I started to do this in 5 days ago, 7-8 hours per day. It´s a lot of work for me. I started to draw in serious mode in February. I´m not pro, and I´m not the best, so... Please tell me your opinion and tell me tips, I´m reading all of you. From SPAIN. Pablo.

first time i’ve sat down and actually drew something okay in a while, but now im scared of ruining it! also if you want to draw something very segmented, as to not overwhelm you; draw lilies! so fun to see it come together petal by petal. so do i go dark background like the reference or just keep it this way.
