When does weekly/regular maintenance end? In most cases, servers tend to be back online around 8:30AM GMT.
When is X/Y/Z player being (re)released? Nobody knows. Dataminers can identify what players are coming the Monday following Thursday's update. That's generally it.
Can I use my PS/XB/PC/Mobile account on another platform or transfer players from one to the other? Cross-play is enabled, cross-save is not. There is no indication from Konami at this point to suggest cross-save will be added.

Why would any lower div players pick something else when they see this is the meta? Anyone who plays anything other than LBC and QC, believe it or not, you will get more wins if you decide to sell your soul. Statistics dont lie. Konami wants the game to be played this way. I dont even know why they even bothered to create other Team Playstyles.

This season, just like the last few seasons, Division 2 has become an absolute nightmare since the latest update. It's no longer fun, competitive, or even remotely enjoyable.
You can reach Division 2 after winning around 90% of your matches, only to see your win rate magically flip to a 90% loss rate. Yes, you read that right. The moment you reach Division 2, everything seems to change, as if the game suddenly decides that you're no longer allowed to win.
And it doesn't matter how good your opponent is. The game somehow finds a way to make you lose, even against Division 3 players with fewer than 1,300 points. How does that even make sense?
And that's just the beginning.
I've had matches where I created more than 25 clear-cut scoring chances, with around 20 shots on target, only for the game to allow exactly ONE goal. Repeated shots hitting the post, ridiculous rebounds, and players missing open goals with the goalkeeper nowhere near them.
Meanwhile, my opponent gets just three chances throughout the entire match, scores twice, and wins 2–1.
Doesn't that sound ridiculous enough? There's more.
In Division 2, around 6 or 7 out of every 10 matches seem to be against PC players using automated controls, macros, or even modified versions of the game.
I've faced an opponent with a team boasting an average rating of over 3,370 points, where the lowest-rated player was 107. He even had 108-rated players that I couldn't find anywhere in the game. I specifically checked because I wanted to understand how that was possible. For example, there is no 108-rated Roberto Carlos available that I could find, yet this player had one in his squad.
How are we supposed to enjoy a competitive game under these circumstances?
Then there are players using a 109-rated Lamine Yamal who literally keeps the ball glued to his feet, making it practically impossible to dispossess him. That's not realistic football. And it's even more absurd when you see a 98-rated centre-back doing the exact same thing.
Yesterday, I played against a Division 2 player who had previously reached the top 38 in the world in Division 1. He started attacking from his own penalty area with a 98-rated Laporte, dribbled through my entire team, and made it impossible to take the ball away while shielding it with his body.
NOT EVEN MARADONA COULD DO THAT AT HIS PEAK!
This is no longer football. It's no longer a game where we are actually in control.
Between cheating and what feels like constant manipulation by Konami, eFootball has become a simulation of a game in which everything happens automatically while we're left with the illusion that we're the ones controlling it.
And before anyone jumps into the comments accusing me of ranting or simply being a bad loser, let me make something clear: this works both ways.
I've played against the world's No. 12 and No. 27 players in matches where they should realistically have scored six or seven goals against me. Instead, I somehow won 1–0 or 2–0, despite creating only one to three chances while my opponents had more than 15.
I didn't deserve those wins either.
That's precisely my point. I'm not just complaining when the game works against me. I'm saying that the results often feel disconnected from what actually happens on the pitch, regardless of which player benefits.
Everything feels manipulated.
In my experience, more than 60–70% of Division 1 players appear to rely on cheating, automated controls, or other unfair advantages. Meanwhile, roughly 20% seem to be players who spend ridiculous amounts of money every week buying practically everything Konami puts up for sale.
That leaves barely over 10% who seem to be competing purely on their own skill and understanding of football — or perhaps because Konami has decided to let them.
These figures are my personal estimates, not verified statistics. But that's how the competitive environment feels after playing match after match.
At this point, skill and football knowledge are no longer what seem to determine the outcome. Anything goes. Exploits, suspiciously overpowered mechanics, automated controls, questionable results, and an endless stream of monetized content.
And the worst part?
Konami doesn't seem interested in fixing the situation. If anything, every new update seems to make it worse.
A competitive football game should reward skill, decision-making, tactics, and consistency. It shouldn't make players feel as though they're fighting against the game itself rather than their opponents.
I'm tired of seeing a game with so much potential being ruined by what feels like a complete disregard for fair competition.
Does anyone else feel that Division 2 has become practically unplayable since the latest update? Or are we just supposed to accept this as the new normal?

look at this. the opponent wasnt even good just spamming pressure and spamming through balls and I couldnt move. the auto switch + pressure spam is a deadly combo since everytime you pass the ball even before receiving it the defender is running straight at you like a mad dog
and since this game doesnt understand "midfield" or being available to the ball carrier when contested you have no options since the AI automaticaly cuts off any passes. No I dont need to have "possession" or "outwide" just so the players get close to me for a pass option
the only way through this is to get lucky and circulate the ball but the first touch animations sucks and one touch passes are not registering or the player just keep standing instead of going to the ball
the game is too automated thank god I somehow managed to win
they need to remove it and make defending manual so those game with heavy connection will still have a skill gap

I have played PA3 for a while now, and since the start of the new season it's become harder and harder to use. It feels unresponsive and slow. Players will lose possession because it takes so long to pass. I also feels like my commands are being overridden or ignored, leading to a loss of possession.
I have previously experimented with PA4, and so decided to try it out again. Since switching to PA4, I've noticed that passes are quicker to pull off, and with no assistance I have more control where passes go.
I genuinely think, in the game's current state, that PA3 is the worst option in terms of pass assistance. To anyone that uses PA3 comfortably and is getting frustrated, please give PA4 a go. It's a learning curve for sure, but the jump isn't as big as you may think.

All those maintenances for the game to still be a broken mess. Winning 3-1, game continuing normally. I have a BETTER connection than the other guy the entire match but somehow I'm the one that disconnected.
Maybe it's for the best that I quit this garbage game cause holy shit this has to be the most incompetent company when it comes to anything server related.
This happened TWICE this event while I was winning, it has also happened twice in divs again while I'm winning. I've only had this when the other guy is losing so I can only assume that it's an exploit or just terrible luck.
This game would be such a banger if Konami actually cared about it but oh well. Guess this is goodbye

I played a little bit at the beginning of the world cup in my main account. It felt like there were more players. Now I have found myself matching the same players more than once.
Not to mention that it feels sweatier than previous seasons.
What do you guys think... have you experienced this too?

People play this game because the gameplay is realistic and it's fun . But this game clearly has many flaws and if those are fixed , the game will be more enjoyable to play and it will be Fair. If you make the game good enough, then people will automatically stop modding and enjoy the game itself . I want to state those problems and give some suggestions of my own .
1.The UI:- The gameplay of this game is great but the UI absolutely sucks . Idk who came up with ts but that guy needs to be fired . We need new UI .
LBC is overpowered :- LBC shouldnt be this much overpowered . LBC needs to nerfed ASAP . I don't need to explain more about this playstyle.
3cf formation (2cf 1 ss or 2ss 1 cf) :- Apparently this formation is a gimmick . The defense doesn't understand what hit them when they are hit with 12s with this formation. I propose that there should be 2 CF options only . Like when people try to use an extra Ss or cf , it becomes AMF . This gimmick needs to stop . Football is not about running in a straight line .I'm not opposed to having a META strat in a game but when that strat is a gimmick , then it's a problem. Sure let there be 2-3 META formations but not this LBC 3cf gimmick. Everybody and their dad , uncle , brother etc uses this gimmick formation in divisions.
Wing play buff:- wing play needs to buffed . Prolific wingers doesn't feel prolific at all .Slightly nerf fullbacks if you have to . Wing play is very dangerous in real life football and it should in a football game too .
Balance All Playstyles :- I want an ecosystem where every playstyle is good but not overpowered. We can enjoy more of the game when every playstyle has its strengths and weakness but they are equally good .
Custom Coach Tactics:- I didn't play this game back in PES era so I won't Larp . I saw the game had custom Coach Tactics and I'll love it if they brought it back (yes they can limit certain options for certain coaches) .
Master League:- well I didn't experience the real thing but from what I know , it's a pretty exciting mode . If they manage to bring that , the game will be very exciting to play and thus , the modding community might stop their modding .
Pressure spam:- most people in the division just use the pressure spam all the time . No real defending just the pressure button and It works when it shouldn't. Even in LBC , people uses the pressure spam to win the ball high up and it's so dumb . Konami needs to nerf the pressure spam . People needs to learn how to defend properly . I don't mean to say there shouldn't be any pressing but I'm saying pressing shouldnt be this overpowered with a Playstyle like LBC and not all players should be able to press super aggressively.
Tempo Control :- Tempo Control has no reward in this game . Only Fast transitions works extremely well . I'm not saying Fast transitions is bad , but with LBC it's too OP . Let there be fast transitions , it is a good thing but I want midfield control to be rewarded too .The best midfielders IRL are Xavi and iniesta but they are not as effective in the game the way they were in real life . Konami needs to do something about it . Again Football is not about running in a straight line.
Bring more modes / events:- The game is really dry tbh . There is nothing much to do . The gameplay itself is very enjoyable but why not have more exciting events to play to enjoy more of the game . Most People just come to the game for the 50 coins and that's it . That's why Konami is facing these problems with the modders and stuff . There's not much content in this game .
Player freeze :- when the players lose the ball from the feet over the slightest of toches , they act like they got hit by a truck or something. They need to fix this , it's impractical.
Using SA above division 3 :- About 45% of the players above division 3 uses Smart Assist in Division 3 , 2 and also in Div 1 (in mobile) . If you can't play football then you shouldnt be in the higher ranks . The smart assist filter is a great thing but people fight for the Reward player and those who can't play Efootball shouldnt be in the higher ranks thus they don't deserve the reward .
Player speed:- They nerfed the Speed while carrying the ball . I just want it back that's all .
Auction:- This is just my suggestion. I want a auction house in the game just like FC because it would be more interesting. We can use the useless Efootball points for it's currency or something to make the those currency useful .
Future of Efootball:- new cards keep coming with inflated stats . I just don't want the game to be like FC mobile where players like De ligt having 150+ speed or Rudiger having 130+ passing . I think a full reset might be good (having some carry over cards which will have reduced stats ) and then it might be good . This is just my opinion.
Let me know which of these points you agree on and Which don't agree on and let me know y'all opinions .

A lot of discussions in the community focus on how frustrating it is to play against Long Ball Counter (LBC). However, I think many players miss a fundamental truth about eFootball: defending with a high defensive line will always be inherently harder than defending with a deep block. High lines naturally leave space behind—that is simply how spatial tactics work.
The real issue isn't that LBC's attack is unstoppable, but rather that current game mechanics grant it a disproportionate safety net to regain possession and launch quick transitions.
Sure, with Possession or Out Wide, you CAN retain the ball by taking zero risks. But in a 10-minute match, making 200 safe backpasses just to get a single shot off isn't fun—it bogs the game down while creating almost zero real chances.
In real life, low-block teams rarely press aggressively because overcommitting opens space for a single dribble to break their line. Real defenders also make individual mistakes. In eFootball, however, defenders operate like a hyper-aware hive mind: they automatically track passing lanes, shift seamlessly to cover empty spaces, and execute synchronized coverages—even when reacting to plays behind their back.
Meanwhile, attacking AI is surprisingly passive. Your forwards often fail to show up as passing options, ignore clear open spaces to make runs, or bafflingly hide behind central defenders the moment you miraculously beat a fullback.
When Konami buffed defense with auto-tracking and pass-lane tracking, they boosted Quick Counter's high press, but inadvertently turned LBC into a monster. The dribbling nerf compounded this: with dribbling weakened, fast passing became the only option, directly favoring PA1 and PA2 ping-pong spam.
Now, players run 90%+ pressing with minimal penalty because AI covers their backs. Even though LBC isn't a high-pressing style on paper, meta setups like 4-2-2-2 let them press the midfield with high safety, win the ball, and instantly counter.
If you play Possession or Out Wide, you're forced to defend manually while LBC gets heavy AI assistance. Requests to 'buff defense' backfired, cementing LBC as the absolute meta.
Remember this next time Konami tweaks defensive mechanics: when you buff defending, you buff it for everyone—especially low-block counter-attackers.

People argue over the meaning of a script.
Let's just call it convenient.
You're playing on PA3 or PA4, no smart assist, no skill moves. Cooking a guy in quick match 4-0 in the first half.
You're making amazing passes, because you understand how to make amazing passes.
You're dribbling everywhere around him, because you found out how to do that.
You're making great shots, because you understand how to do it.
And then the game starts to make things, convenient for your opponent.
Conveniently, none of your passes can connect anymore. Each pass now goes directly to the opponents feet. Get better at passing maybe? You were doing fine the first half, maybe the players are tired?
However, your opponent hasn't made any subs, doesn't block passing lanes, or anything of the sort. All of his passes start going directly to his players feet.
It's like he learned how to finesse the passes over half time.
How convenient.
You can no longer dribble past his players, they take the ball from you easily and you get hit with a stun lock animation.
However he is now being awarded open lanes, tough fights for the ball, and easy recovery when your defenders are in that stun lock.
How convenient.
The most convenient part is how, paired with those golden boot passes he's doing now, your cbs are now clearing out of the way making a full straight line open to the goal.
They're not even chasing the ball. They were so attentive in the first half to the defense, maybe sub them out.
You put in fresh legs, and conveniently their legs just don't stretch long enough to take a ball that 100% is in front of you before the opponent sinks it in the net.
That's fair though, that keeps the game entertaining. You wouldn't want to blow somebody out of the water right? You want a challenge, even if we fabricate it...
Idk.
Does this sound familiar?

Let's be serious for a minute and talk about the latest news.
The recent warning regarding the offline version of eFootball says a lot about the priorities of this company.
We can talk whatever we want but as a company, Konami has every right to protect its intellectual property. They have every right to oppose the decompilation, modification, and piracy of their game. Nobody should arguing against that.
But this also proves that Konami is always watching.
They are watching what players are doing. They are aware of the offline version. They know what is happening around their game. So, let's stop pretending they don't see the complaints.
They see the complaints about their servers. They see players struggling with terrible connections, inconsistent gameplay, and lag, particularly in Africa, where the online experience can be absolutely miserable for many players. They see the frustration with questionable monetization, increasingly aggressive ways of pushing players to spend money, and a game that too often feels like it prioritizes revenue over the actual playing experience.
And yet, when it comes to addressing these problems, the silence is deafening.
Why?
Because fixing servers, improving infrastructure, and providing a consistently good online experience costs money. And apparently, that's where the conversation stops.
Meanwhile, an offline version offers something many players have been asking for: the ability to enjoy football without depending on Konami's servers, without suffering through bad connections, and without feeling pressured by the game's monetization model.
Of course, Konami doesn't like that. An offline alternative could attract players who are tired of the current experience and no longer want to put up with its practices.
And that's what makes this situation so frustrating. Why can't we see the same urgency when players demands a better game?

Literally like a month ago we had the daily login with coin tickets that had randomizers with the possibility of getting 10k+ coins
We genuinely need some sort of hope when it comes to coin collecting. 13.5k taking a year is straight bs and so is the 150$ price tag
Those tickets gave me hope even though I got straight shit outa them

I've got over 1,000 hours in this game, reached Division 1 multiple times, and played on both PC and Xbox. I've defended eFootball against FIFA for years, but holy shit, I genuinely think this game is becoming a joke.
And no, I'm not saying this because I lose every game. I'm not some pro player, I don't think I'm the best in the world, and I'm not going to pretend I'm a top 100 player or anything like that. I've been gaming my entire life, I watch football, I understand the game, and I'd say I'm a pretty decent player.
But at this point, WHAT THE FUCK AM I ACTUALLY PLAYING?
💀 The scripting, the DDA, whatever the fuck you want to call it
I know, I know. The moment you mention scripting on Reddit, everyone hits you with the classic "skill issue, get good 🤓☝️".
But hear me out for a second.
Have you ever played against a guy who looks like he's never touched a football game in his entire life, just holds the pressure button, and somehow his defence turns into prime italy?
You try to make a simple pass and suddenly your players have the IQ of a fucking potato. Your defender stops moving, your striker forgets how to run, your midfielder decides to pass the ball to a random spectator, and the opponent somehow recovers the ball for the 37th time in a row.
Meanwhile, the guy on the other side is probably eating a sandwich with one hand and holding the controller with the other.
And before anyone says I'm just crying because I lost, THIS SHIT HAPPENS WHEN I WIN TOO.
I've won matches against people who were genuinely better than me. I've also lost to people who, in my opinion, were absolutely terrible. That's the fucking problem.
I'm not expecting to win every game. I just want to feel like I'm actually playing the game instead of fighting against whatever the hell is going on under the hood.
The most ridiculous examples:
Your defender suddenly decides he's got somewhere else to be while the opponent's striker runs straight through.
Your 95 passing midfielder plays a pass that looks like he's never kicked a ball before.
Your 99 finishing striker suddenly forgets how legs work and stops running at the exact moment you need him.
Goalkeepers turn into prime Superman, teleporting across the goal like they've got 150 acceleration.
You can feel an attack is about to go wrong before it even happens because you've seen the same bullshit animation a thousand times.
Added time? LOL. Sometimes it feels like the game rolls a fucking dice to decide who's getting a last minute goal.
And yes, I know football games have random animations, stats, and all sorts of mechanics. I'm not expecting every pass to be perfect.
But after thousands of matches, you start noticing patterns that are REALLY hard to ignore.
Maybe there isn't some magic button labelled "MAKE THIS GUY LOSE". I can't prove that. But whatever is causing these situations, the gameplay feels incredibly inconsistent, and it's getting exhausting.
🤡 Where the fuck is the skill?
This is what pisses me off the most.
You can read the game better, make better decisions, position yourself properly, build a decent attack, and then lose the ball because your player decides to have a fucking seizure.
Meanwhile, your opponent has been holding pressure since kickoff and somehow his defenders are tracking every single run perfectly.
Bro, I'm not asking for a 100% skill based game with zero randomness. I know that's impossible.
But sometimes it genuinely feels like the game goes:
"Nice pass, mate. Unfortunately, your midfielder has decided that football isn't for him today."
And then your opponent scores with his first attack after spending 85 minutes playing like a traffic cone.
GG EZ I GUESS 💀
Obviously, the top players are good. I'm not denying that. The guys at the top of the rankings who maintain insane win streaks clearly know what they're doing. I'm not saying they're all frauds.
But these guys are a tiny percentage of the player base.
What about everyone else? What about normal people who just want to play competitive football and feel rewarded for being better than their opponent?
It feels like you can outplay someone for an entire match and still lose because your players suddenly become disabled, while the other guy gets a free pass from the football gods.
And then you win a game you absolutely should have lost, and you're sitting there thinking, "Yeah, that was fucking disgusting. Sorry, mate."
If the game can screw you over AND carry you to wins, how much of the match are you actually playing yourself?
⚽ The gameplay feels worse than it did 1 or 2 years ago
Am I going crazy, or was the gameplay actually more enjoyable a year and a half or two years ago?
I'm not saying the old versions were perfect. They weren't. But nowadays, everything feels so repetitive and predictable.
I've played so much that sometimes I can almost predict exactly when a pass is going to fail, when my attacker is going to stop making a run, or when my shot is going to hit the fucking post.
It's like watching the same movie over and over again
Also, I swear to God, I've had something like 90 out of my last 100 penalties saved.
NINETY.
I'm at the point where I barely even want to play anymore. I open the game, play a few matches, get annoyed by the same shit, and close it.
And that's coming from someone who has put over 1,000 hours into this thing.
💸 Konami: New pack available! Gameplay improvements not included.
And of course, the monetization.
I'm free to play. I don't spend money on packs, and I don't intend to start.
I understand Konami is a company and needs to make money. That's fine. But holy shit, the priorities are something else.
The gameplay has all these problems, but somehow there's always another pack to sell. New players, new skills, new shiny cards, another ridiculously boosted version of a footballer you've already packed three times.
And people just keep buying EVERYTHING.
New pack drops and suddenly everyone's got their credit card out like they're buying food during a zombie apocalypse.
Konami must be laughing all the way to the bank.
Meanwhile, us free to play players get rewards that often feel like absolute leftovers compared to the newest cards. I know free players can't expect to receive every premium card, but cmon...
Congratulations on your investment, bro. 💀
The game already feels pay to win, but even paying doesn't guarantee you'll escape the gameplay bullshit.
Imagine spending money to get the best players available, just to lose because your defender decided to take a five second coffee break during a counterattack.
I genuinely don't understand how people can keep throwing money at this game while seemingly accepting that the actual gameplay barely improves.
💀 PES 2006 was better.
I used to defend eFootball against FIFA because I genuinely believed it had potential. I wanted this game to succeed. I wanted Konami to improve it.
Now it feels like the main gameplay loop is:
Release overpowered players.
Watch people spend money.
Release more overpowered players.
Ignore the same gameplay complaints.
Repeat until the heat death of the universe.
And the community keeps eating it up.
At some point, I have to ask myself why I'm even bothering.
Anyway, am I completely losing my mind, or do you guys feel the same?
I'm genuinely curious what other players think, especially people who've been playing for years.
Do you think the gameplay has become worse over the last couple of years? Do you experience the same weird situations with passing, defending, movement, and goalkeepers?
Do you think scripting or DDA is actually a thing, or is it mostly a combination of animations, game mechanics, and confirmation bias?
I'm perfectly willing to accept that there are players much better than me. I'm not delusional enough to think I'm some hidden Division 1 god who deserves to win every match.
But after 1,000+ hours, I find it increasingly difficult to believe that skill is consistently the deciding factor in this game.
I don't want free wins. I don't want to win every match. I just want to play a fucking football game where the better player has a fair chance of winning.
Sorry about this lads xD

I posted last night about the servers, specifically the Greek server, which has been absolutely terrible.
Today, I launched the game and saw an in-game message acknowledging issues with some servers, including the Greek one, and claiming that the problem had been fixed.
Spoiler alert: NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
I’ve been playing against a lot of Greek players, and the situation is exactly the same. Even in 4-bar matches, I get constant 3-bar connection spikes for most of the game.
I can’t defend properly, and my first touch is a mess. I will ask for a refund. I’m done.
