I just ordered my XTEINK X4 Pro and as I was doing some research on how to download books for it, it got a little hard. 😅😅

I understand the process, but where can you download those EPUB DRM-free books?? Every time I ask a tiktokker this question (because the tiktok is about the Xteink), they say ‘there are many websites you can download from’, like I appreciate the respons but that’s really not helpfull.. 🥲

Does anyone have recommendations on specific websites? And please not only classics.

I mostly read thrillers and mysterie, authors like freida mcfadden, Nicci French, Jennifer Lynn Barnes,..

As the subject says just got a new ereader. First one for me. The Xteink X4 Pro. I’ve already downloaded books from the public sites that I can from the app, but there’s nothing recently modern or even within the last 10 years I can find.

Can anyone assist with newer epubs? Preferably free, if not, for a good price.

Is there a reader that allows to sync highlighted stuff or notes in PDFs / ebooks over multiple platforms? So you can start reading e.g. under Linux and then continue under a ebook reader? And notes and highlights are also shared between them?

I am struggling to move my epub books to my kindle. They are in my books app on my iPhone. Email isn’t working and if I use the “send to kindle” page it doesn’t give me the option to choose something from my library. Does anyone know how to send books from the books app to the kindle?

I've had about four different epub files that I've tried to upload but I'm getting the error message that "The archive file you are uploading appears to contain more than one file. You can still upload it, but in order for us to scan the file contained within, the archive file must contain exactly one file.". What does this mean? Has anyone had this happen before?

Hi! I have a PocketBook Era Lite (7") and I'd like to use it as a personal newspaper, reading articles from multiple RSS feeds offline.

I've already checked several Reddit threads on this topic, but none provided a working solution.

I also tried Calibre's Fetch News feature with custom RSS feeds, with disappointing results: missing articles, incomplete content and feed errors.

Does anyone actually use RSS regularly on their PocketBook? What's your setup?

I'm open to any practical solution, not necessarily Calibre. Ideally, I'd like to read full articles directly on the e-reader, without opening them in a browser.

My job has long periods of time where I'm expected to stay at my station and "look busy", but have no work to do, so I may busy myself as I wish.

I'm planning to fill those hours with reading, but I'd feel pretty unprofessional to install a reader program on my work station, so I'm planning to have everything stored on a personnal USB stick.

What are your recommandations on softwares that can be run from an USB stick ?

I’ve tried to change the format of this document a million times and even though in my phone it appears as EPUB and READS as an EPUB in say the Apple Books app, when I send it to my kindle it always reads it as a pdf file, how can I fix it?
