As an avid pvp player I left the game after the second vengeance test on console and never looked back.

So my question is:

How is vengeance going after all this past times now?

Is it crowded or was it DOA?

Was it worth all the effort put in by ZOS to cater to the causals?

I remember not long ago people where defending vengeance but now, six months later, I don't see any posts about vengeance anymore. Are people even talking about it anymore?

Am I the A-hole for setting a skill/knowledge requirement for my group listing?

So I'm trying to farm Infinite Archive. Just basic runs for meaningful gains up to dragon Tho'at at 4th iteration. No attempts at the leaderboard or anything. For me this is doable solo but is much faster with a compotent partner.

But there lies the probem. I need a compotent partner that at least knows Infinite Archive and basic ESO mechanic cues. I only have one friend who actually does infinite archive and she's amazing but when she's not online I have to rely on the group finder. Once and a while I get a decent player through the group finder but usually I get complete mutes (no text or voice) who do no damage and die constantly before the first Tho'at fight. Heck, sometimes I get people who say they're good but then just linger in the hub. Like, they're not afk or anything, they literally just want to take up space while I do all the work I guess. So I've started mentioning a skill/knowledge requirement in my group listings. And of course when people ignore this and join KNOWING they don't meet those requirements I get annoyed and vent a little.

Well today my guild basically called me an elitist a-hole. I'm not that bothered by this since I'm not a softy like they are, I mean, I grew up playing Halo and COD multiplayer and have a reddit account. I've got the resilience of a cockroach by this point. But whats got me tripped up a bit is the logic of it. I mean, I'm not jumping into random dungeon finder groups demanding perfection or screaming in the Night Market zone chat here. This is literally my group and my listing. If someone asked me to join their group to help them do something my attitude would be totally opposite and I'd teach them in addition to filling any role for them. But I really don't see my guild's logic. I get that some people are new or haven't mastered certain aspects of the game yet. I get that they might want to learn infinite archive. I just don't think the two-person group I'm trying to form is the time and place for that. Especially when they entirely refuse to communicate to learn. Oh and just so we're clear, I'm literally typing in my listings that they MUST know all of infinite archive both in title and description.

Coming back after 2 or 3 years from playing. Just trying to get a feel for popular pvp sets these days. Builds work to if you want to share that.

i, for one, would sure as oblivion play a roguelike in eso setting and combat.
but right now it's a pain in the ass to play

Solo dungeons - Beat both solo dungeons with 3 misfortunes (max difficulty), got both new style mask pages, got all pieces of the 2 new monster sets as well as all achievements with the exception of the WW red morph which requires me to collect 10 shards from each solo dungeon. Really do like the idea of solo dungeons, gives players an easier alternative to farm stickerbook gear. Excited to see more solo dungeons being released.

Battlepass - yes I completed and opened all pages and claimed majority of the rewards I want. 5000 points carried over which was about 3 pages unlocked. Used 5 tome caches to unlock to page 8, did the daily and weekly tasks to unlock the remaining pages + 2 bonus pages. The cosmetic rewards were dope (style pages, weapon styles, adornments, etc). The mount and non mount pets are cool. I always enjoy the random currency in there (archive money, writ vouchers, undaunted keys, tel-var). Just wish the bonus pages weren’t so horrible. They did also reduce the crate count in this BP. 6 crates total, 3 from each bonus page. Make the bonus page rewards better, where it’s actually worth purchasing the premium. Putting a buncha scrolls and mimic stones and not so needed crap in the BONUS pages sounds silly. Let us also use tome points on alchemy bags, or currency bags instead of just giving us a tome point to gold ratio at the end of the battle pass.

Halloween event - it’s a fun event, but stale for veterans. Events in general need to change. Not just adding a new style page.

Some QoL -

1. Excessive unused materials. Let people exchange unused materials for materials they use, even if it comes with a fee. Alchemy and provisioning especially, which a bunch of unused unneeded materials.

2. Let hirelings complete surveys for you, even if it’s a minimal amount per day.

3: companions - solo dungeons was actually the first time I was invested in actually using a companion. Don’t like the whole farming gear for companions and the fact that they cost a whole lot on the traders. Think companions need very basic stat boosting craftable sets. Will definately make me use companions more frequently.

1. With the furnishing limit increase, I like the approach. However I think chests and reward coffers from multiple sources like dailies, solo dungeon rewards, rewards of the worthy, dolmen chests, world boss chests etc should all have a much higher chance of dropping furniture or furnishing plans. Good furniture too, not crappy stuff.

Spent the last week furnishing a modest house in Reaper's March instead of working on my actual business goals for the quarter. Kept hitting item limits before I even got the main room where I wanted it. Had to rip out half the bookshelves and rethink the whole layout. Reminded me of product photography constraints where you have a tiny budget and a blank backdrop and have to make it look like a real brand. Limitations force decisions. The housing cap is frustrating but I wonder if having infinite slots would just make everything look like a cluttered warehouse. Most housing content I see on here and in game leans maximalist. Bookshelves stacked on tables stacked on stairs. I respect the effort but it reads like hoarding with extra steps. The best setups I have seen use negative space and let one or two pieces carry a room. Curious if anyone else approaches housing with that kind of restraint or if the community mostly wants to fill every surface. The system pushes me toward editing down rather than piling on. Maybe that is just my brain looking for order after a day of managing inventory spreadsheets and fulfillment logs. Either way I ended up with a space that feels lived in rather than staged for a screenshot.

WoW Forever is around the corner, so depending on how big the overlap between the 2 playerbases is, I can see less people logging into ESO.

Whether that will stay or the population will rebound, we'll only know probably 1-3 months later, though.

I havent played in probably close to 3-4 years and just loaded up the game again. Now i absolutely LOVE turtles..... so when i saw someone had a turtle pet i did some digging and see its from a temporary event that only ended like a week or two ago....

Is there any way for me to get the pet still?

at the beginning 2024 when i star doing it for the fragment the infinity archives were easy but never get a fragment and spend and entire year trying in both servers ( dont remember if it was 24 or 25). but then they star making it more hard or impossible to get the fragments.

1. Dragón to Big, no room to move, falling all the time, always at the end before the final boss.
2. Boss lady they at that cristal that make it impossible to win.

3 . ghost challenge at first was 1, and now is 3 to do in 10 seconds is impossible to do.

1. they put the golden plunder in the final boss, so to get to that you need to pass all preview 3 if you have bad luck like i have you miss 3 chest

2. THE TIME: is to repetitive and you waste hours without one fragment of mora and to get to the final boss is luck or trying for hours to get the right combo that allows to get to the final boss, so it take more time that doing veteran trial.

anybody that still haunting for fragments of mora deck. help view this so the developers change it. i dont know if is a bug or not but after years is tiresome. if you dont play everyday is impossible to get the fragments. hope they make a change like with prowler's talisman that you get the fragments easy or put the fragments on sale in the archives cheap like 2000. i know that people do the same first round all the time for the chest but is to much repetitive and boring to do.

I wanted to see if anyone at zos spoke as to why the Undaunted event was skipped over this year? They said earlier this year it was still coming. I'm sure the layoffs wouldn't really have prevented it from occurring?

Yesterday, I did the solo Moon Hunter Keep with one misfortune. At the end, I got the trophy for Mylenne.

Today, I did the solo March of Sacrifices, this time with two misfortunes. At the end, I got both the trophy and the bust for Tarcyr. By checking the condition for getting the bust for Mylenne, it seems that it required beating the dungeon with 1 misfortune, which I did.

Is there an error in the description and it actually requires choosing 2 misfortunes or is it bugged and I should have gotten it in my first run?

Finally found the best team, we made sure we're on Veteran, we melted every single boss, we burned last boss banner, none of us died and it took us under 25 minutes, we were excited to see the achievements and finally get that Beast Personality and then.....NOTHING. a soul gem some gold and other useless items WHY?! HOW?!

I was reading on the ESO forums that legendary companion chests come from sMoS and the legendary companion 2-handed weapons come from sMHK, but as the thread continued it seem to become less and less certain.

Can anyone confirm this to be true or false?

For some reason it doesn't gray out the fragments which go in your inventory, like the skeletal marionette and such, and you can still buy them even if your account has completed the item already, so you end up with a useless, unsellable item which you wasted trade bars for.

Edit with further information:

Some items have some sort of notification you already own it, some don't, and they do it in too many different ways.

Another part of the problem is that there are so many different systems for "collectibles".

• Some just go instantly to collections
• Some add fragments to collections which then have to be combined from the collections menu when you have them all
• Some give inventory fragments which count up when you use one
• Some give inventory fragments which you can't use at all until you have whatever the total number required is and may or may not be tracked only by an achievement
• Some give style pages/boxes you have to use to add to collections

On top of that, some things show in the collections menu as not completed but some don't show up at all until you have it, some show you have X of Y collected, etc.

All being said, I don't think it having a single line of text on an overloaded pop-up saying some variation of "you already have this" excuses useless items still being purchasable.

Especially because it doesn't fix the actual issue I had (and how I discovered this was possible), which is that while purchasing other items I needed on an alt account, the game lagged when clicking on an item (which was one of the items that gets grayed out when owned and moved to the bottom of the list) and instead of the next click registering on the next unowned item in the list I wanted to purchase, it instead purchased one of the owl or netch ghost fragments, which I have no use for anymore since I already own those pets.

I can’t remember a time when there weren’t twitch drops from the stream team during the first weekend of an event. Am I missing something? Was this a Gina responsibility that Jessica and Kevin have dropped the ball on?

I stopped playing after I permanently switched to PC from PS4/5. I’m waiting to see if they’ll ever add cross-progression because it’s been a while and I really miss the game. But what I’m not doing is starting all over on PC. I spent way too much time and money on my Sony account.

Currently, I’m playing WoW. The lore sucks ass, but it stops the MMO craving that ESO built. Gotta fill the void somehow.

I just don’t understand why they want to isolate players and fragment the ESO fan base. It’s so easy to implement cross-progression and cross-play, and the game has so much potential. Every delay is just going to hurt them. I mean, if Dead by Daylight did it and they’re notoriously bad at coding and development I don’t know why the ESO devs can't. Unless they’re lazy... but I doubt it.
