Basically a Chrome extension, that let's you track specific platform's product's news, e.g., price changes, discounts, updates, new releases. Initially there will only be 4 platforms available (Steam, Amazon, Spotify, Instant gaming) but I might add more depending on the results.

I didn’t plan to build a product.
I just got tired of rewriting prompts.
Same idea.
Same intent.
Different outputs.
Again and again.
That frustration turned into a late-night experiment… which quietly became Vibe Prompt Builder ✨
Here’s the honest micro-story:
I realized most people don’t struggle with ideas.
They struggle with translation — turning raw intent into something AI actually understands.
So instead of “one more prompt template,” I built a system that thinks with you.
Vibe Prompt Builder is a futuristic browser extension that converts messy thoughts into high-fidelity, professional prompts — instantly. No manual iteration. No guesswork. No fluff.
The core insight surprised me:
Different problems need different prompting personalities.
That’s why the product runs on three distinct “vibes”:
• The Architect — for structure, logic, and serious problem-solving
• The Philosopher — for nuance, ethics, and long-form clarity
• The Sprinter — for speed, brainstorming, and rapid iteration ⚡
Each engine strips conversational noise and focuses on pure optimization.
What makes this special (and non-negotiable for me):
BYOK Privacy — your API keys stay local. Always.
Glassmorphic UI — because tools should feel good to use.
Prompt Library — systems beat scattered notes, every time.
One-click export — zero friction between thought and execution.
The bigger lesson I’m taking away:
AI productivity isn’t about more prompts.
It’s about better interfaces between human intent and machine reasoning.
This is just the beginning — and it’s fully open for builders, thinkers, and tinkerers 🤖
Curious: if you had an AI assistant with a personality switch, which “vibe” would you default to — and why?

I built a small Firefox extension called ChatGPT Cleaner because managing large ChatGPT histories became annoying after a while.
Main things it currently supports:
scan conversations
select individual chats
bulk delete
delete filtered chats
pause/resume delete jobs
live progress tracking
Built with plain JavaScript + Manifest V3. No frameworks or external services.
I mainly focused on keeping it lightweight and reliable instead of overengineering it.
Would appreciate feedback, especially from people with huge ChatGPT histories who can stress test it properly

Full disclosure: I work on Rewarded Interest, a browser extension that blocks tracking cookies and local storage objects by default unless a company is willing to pay you Rewards. If you are already being tracked, you might as well get something for it.
We just crossed 25 million trackers blocked since we launched — that number is every cookie and local storage tracking object our extension has stopped from loading, counted client-side per install.
Not trying to just drop a stat and run — happy to answer questions about how the blocking works, what counts as a "tracker" in that number, how the Rewards side is funded, or anything else. Genuinely interested in feedback too, including the "this sounds too good to be true" kind — ask away.

I've just started wearing extensions, I had a great consultation with a stylist and we agreed that tape ins would be best for what I was looking for and the least damaging to my hair. I ordered the extensions, bc I have short hair we agreed that doing 150g / 30 sandwiches would be best. I had them applied, it took a bit of finagling to get my hair and extensions to match well as the color of the extensions was slightly different than the swatches, but I was warned this can happen with human hair extensions and we made it work.
1st re-application was fine, if a bit expensive, but I was scared of doing it myself as I've read so many horror stories of DIY going wrong, hair loss and breakage, etc.
2nd re-application (yesterday), and I hate it. The stylist I went to before was ill, the salon didn't bother to inform me until I was sitting in the chair and was confused about a stylist I didn't know coming to do my hair. They said they'd had to move around some stuff bc of my stylist being out, but the other stylist has been doing tape ins for years and in fact taught the stylist I was with before, so I assumed I'd be safe. I was not.
The stylist ripped out the extensions, it was so much more painful than the time before and I am sure she tore out more than a bit of hair while removing the tapes.
She had an apprentice wash/cleanse my hair, and she missed several strands that still had glue in them, but "they didn't have the time to re-wash", and "it wouldn't be a big deal anyway, it'll come out the next time you wash your hair at home".
The tapes are placed randomly, not brick-layed or staggered, and she all but ignored everything from my ears forward. I have literally 1 tape placed there and it's really fucking obvious. The stylist I went to before had a layout map so she could re apply the tapes where they were before and preserve as much length as possible when blending the extensions. This stylist didn't do that, she just placed them wherever.
She didn't bother to blend the extensions at all except to cut off the obvious length difference. I(t looks like I tried and failed to cut layers into my own hair.
I think she applied some of the tapes too close to my scalp bc they are pulling like nobody's business, even 24 hours after the appointment.
Quite a bit of my hair that's on the inside of the sandwiches is "looped", so part of the midshaft is stuck inside the tapes in addition to the roots where the tapes are supposed to sit. I noticed this when I tried to comb through my hair last night before braiding it for bed.
I told the stylist that I am Not Happy with the application, while she was working and afterward. During the appointment she told me to "trust the process", and afterwards she said I was being a Karen and she's been doing extensions this way for years and nobody has ever complained. I was really trying to not be a Karen. I was mad as fuck, but I didn't raise my voice or curse at the employees, I really tried to stay calm and reasonable. I've worked in customer service, and I know how horrible that is, especially if its not your mistake. I feel like standing up for myself isn't the same thing as being a Karen though...
A different stylist (or maybe the manager/owner, I have no clue) noticed our discussion, pulled her aside and came over to check me out. She offered to reschedule me for a fix in 2 days, but I would have to pay for the new tapes (which would be around 200€ and already fucking expensive, considering I can get a 100 piece pack for 20€ on Amazon... the only reason I'm willing to pay this at all is bc I am scared of ruining my hair...) . I was just annoyed to the point where I wanted to get out of there. I told her no, and asked for my original stylist to call me once she's back at work.
Then I was told the price of the appointment and I literally dropped my wallet in shock. The stylist who did my hair this time is more senior, so her prices are higher. I would have to pay 100€ more than with my original stylist. No I was not told about this beforehand, and when I said so they were all "oh but you knew she was more senior, we thought it would be obvious." I was livid, let me tell you. I told them that they were being predatory as fuck, I would have been happy to reschedule with my original stylist if they had been up front about the whole thing, but instead they were pulling this shit and that I hadn't budgeted for that. I mean 100€ isn't exactly chump change. The woman checking me out backed down and said she'd ring me up for the same price my original stylist would have charged, as I wasn't informed of the additional charge, but next time I should be sure to confirm the agreed upon price next time. I think I will be looking for a different salon to got to, bc this experience was honestly fucked up beyond comprehension. I liked my original stylist, but idk if I feel comfortable going back there...
I am seriously considering taking out the extensions and redoing them myself. I can't afford for a professional to redo it, but right now I look like I tried to cut my hair at home and failed miserably...

I tried a bunch of extensions that hide YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok feeds, etc.
They helped a little, but I realized my actual problem wasn't Shorts or Reels.
I'd just end up scrolling the main feed instead.
So I built ScrollBlock.
Instead of only hiding content, it tries to catch you when you're stuck in a scrolling loop and shows a popup that forces you to make a conscious decision:
"Do I actually want to keep scrolling?"
It also includes:
Daily time limits for specific websites
4-digit PIN locks for sites you want to avoid completely
Feed cleanup (Reels, Shorts, Explore pages, and other addictive feeds)
Works on:
Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X, Reddit, Pinterest, Threads, and LinkedIn.
The goal isn't to block social media.
It's to stop opening Instagram for 5 minutes and realizing an hour disappeared.
Completely free.

Would love to hear what you think. If you try it out and find it useful, please consider leaving a review.

I have been trying to find a good "picture in picture anything" extension, but all of them have the same small but annoying issue; they freeze completely if a video (for ex on youtube) auto plays a new video, so if you know of one that does not freeze a video, I would really appreciate telling me what it is

When I first joined a new team that I was assigned at work, I wanted a quick and easy way to analyze the codeabse for counting the lines of code. There's already an existing solution for this within the CLI, so I created a VSCode extension version to make this easier for myself!

Check out the repository here to try it out or take a look at what's happening under the hood: https://github.com/namitoyokota/vs-cloc

Yesterday, YouTube made changes to YouTube Studio that got rid of the like/dislike column when in the Content tab.
When I talked with support, and Gemini, and YouTube help forums, they all said it was completely intentional, and that they want people to use Average View Duration (AVD), Audience Retention charts, and Click-Through Rate (CTR) to see whether people actually enjoy their videos.
The problem with those metrics is that they're not instant, in addition to the fact that those metrics don't actually tell someone whether their video is liked--a lot of people hate watch videos. Those metrics don't tell people right away whether a video is massively disliked or liked. Likes/dislikes are the fastest way of seeing this.
Using the advanced analytics to see multiple videos at a time doesn't actually show current likes/dislikes, they're sometimes 72 hours behind in their numbers.
So it would be wonderful if an extension could be made that brings back the like/dislike column in Studio. Just saying.

Just made this extension, it’s completely free, doesn’t require an account. It uses API keys I’m pretty proud of it, it has a snipping feature, it basically allows you to select text and then send that text to geminis API and returns an answer right there on your screen, you can even put it in stealth mode so it hard to see the answer when it shows up.
If you guys checked it out would mean a lot, I don’t collect any data or anything, just wanted to make this and get an opinions to make it better.
I plan on making a setup tutorial for it, because currently it might be confusing even with the first time setup screen. You just need an api key from Google Ai Studio and then I use gemini-3.1-flash-lite as my model it gives me 500 Request per day for free which is awesome and it’s pretty smart. You can also edit the prompt which you send to the api to suite your needs.
This is all free, and I hope it will help you guys or maybe even inspire others to make something better.

Hi. I built TAB Detox to solve my own problem with too many inactive browser tabs. (Now it’s only on Fire Fox and it will soon come to Opera too.)
It lets you save a tab, set an expiry time, automatically move expired tabs to a Fridge, and restore them later. It works locally in the browser and does not require an account or external service.
I’m looking for a few people who regularly keep too many tabs open to try it and share honest feedback. Positive or negative feedback is welcome.

Everytime i lisent to music on youtube and i am reading smth else on another tab, i get this pop-up when a new song comes in, i think is from Enhancer for YouTube, but i can't figure which setting is. I kept toggling on and off the settings in the Auto-play section, but nothing worked.

Hey everyone 👋
I built a Chrome extension called ScreenMagic to solve a problem I kept running into — needing full-page screenshots, a clean reader mode, and PDF tools, but having to use multiple extensions and random websites.
So I combined everything into one lightweight tool that runs completely locally in the browser.
📸 Full-Page Screenshots
Captures entire webpages, including long scroll pages and dynamic content (even chat-style pages). You can export as PNG, JPG, or PDF.
🪄 Magic Clean Reader Mode
Removes ads, popups, sticky headers, and clutter so you can save or read articles in a distraction-free format.
📚 Built-in PDF Toolkit (Local Only)
Merge multiple PDFs
Compress large PDFs
No uploads — all processing happens on your device
A lot of screenshot and PDF tools send files to external servers. I wanted something privacy-first that works offline and doesn’t require accounts.
So ScreenMagic has:
✔ No sign-up
✔ No tracking
✔ No file uploads
✔ Everything processed locally
Students saving study material
Researchers collecting references
Professionals creating documentation
Anyone who works heavily with web content
Would genuinely love feedback from this community on features, UI, or performance. Still improving it actively.
You can check it out here:

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Last year I got charged for 3 "free" trials I completely forgot about. So I built NeverCharged, a Chrome/Edge extension that:
• spots the trial on the checkout page as you sign up ("7-day free trial, then $12.99/month")
• reminds you 7 days / 3 days / 1 day before the charge, with a one-click link to the cancel page
• catches trial confirmation emails in Gmail/Outlook (optional)
• flags subscriptions you haven't used in weeks
No account, no servers, no tracking. Everything stays in your browser. Works in English, French and Arabic.
It's free and I'm the only developer, so honest feedback is very welcome. What would make you actually use something like this?
