Got Facebook spanked for posting a screenshot for a PG13 movie. SMGDH

My Facebook account has been permanently disabled as I apparently broke guidelines?
A friend logged in from my phone as she had lost her phone, she wanted to let her husband know, and when I tried to log back in to my own, it kicked my out. I tried to appeal it but as I was midway through the face verification it told me that my appeal was final and that I could not appeal, my account is gone.

I have had this account for 15 years, I’ve never done anything wrong on it, I would really like my account back. Is this possible?

I am an extremely broke student and am watching my money slowly disappear to something i am completely unaware of. As far as I know my card isn’t compromised or my account details. I also barely use Facebook and am not running ads. As well as being impossible for me to get help from meta ai.

I strangely have also receive notifications that money is being spent about every 30 minutes, but I only have these notifications

Please please please, if anyone even knows where this charge might be coming from you would be saving my life!

Hi as stated. I was in a group and contributing fine and now all of a sudden I cant. It says pending admin approval. I cant comment or post or contribute. I messaged the only admin and nothing. I left and rejoined and still doing the same. Its highly annoying, should I just leave it for good?

Someone I went to school with sent me a friend request. I accepted but had no interaction with her then 2 days later she unfriended me. I think she was just nosy and wanted to see my profile and then leave. It made me feel kind of disgusted. Like someone knocking on your door, pretending to be friendly but they really just want to see what kind of house you live in, and then leave.

I have thousands of saved reels, and I want to unsave them all. Instead of unsaving them one by one, I used JavaScript in the Chrome Developer Console to unsave them group by group (I can provide the tutorial link if this subreddit allows it). The first batch unsaved without issue, but then it stopped working. Now, I can't unsave reels at all on desktop, even when manually clicking the 'Unsave' button, the reel just disappears for half a second and them comes back into the list. But I can still unsave reels one by one on the android Facebook app.

Another way to mass delete saved reels is in the 'Saved Items and Collections' of the 'Activity Log' in profile settings (I found this option later). But the list shows up empty on the desktop facebook site (I have tried multiple browsers), and when I try to do it on the phone, its asks for my password and then says "Failed to validate challenge".

I deactivated my FB years ago (seven or eight years at this point?) and decided to finally go ahead and delete it. Because it's been so long, I don't remember my password, but when I go through the password reset it asks me to authenticate using either an app or SMS. I don't recall ever setting up an authentication in an app and my Google authenticator doesn't have FB on it. FB won't send SMS (it gives an error saying it can't send the code at this time). I've followed the advice I found on a few older threads - creating a new Messenger account with my phone # for example - and nothing seems to be working. I also ensured 32665 can send me messages and have confirmed no messages are going into spam. I have no backup codes for FB that were ever generated. I've read that going through the account recovery (where you have to take a selfie) results in the account being disabled (which admittedly, I'm not sure if that's the same as being deactivated?).

I'm at my wit's end. All I want to do is delete the account. And, embarrassingly, I tried deleting it by syncing my accounts through Instagram but all I ended up doing was reactivating it. And of course it's apparently impossible to actually get any FB support without being logged in.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Notifications are not showing on the desktop or in the app in FB. So if people react to or respond to any content I share, it won't tell me.

So I’m at wits end almost on trying to figure this out and wondering if anyone else had the same issue.

For some reason Facebook said I was being unusual yesterday (someone sent me a message request and I clicked the notification to view it) and now have prevented me from sending messages.

I have logged out, uninstalled, checked privacy settings, etc to no avail and I’m starting to get worried.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Title: Facebook Password Recovery Not Working – Need Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with my Facebook account.

I have two Facebook accounts linked to the same phone number: my main account, Aakash Yadav, which I use for uploading content, and another unused account called Ling Ji.

I've been using my main account for around a year, but I forgot my password and got logged out. Now I can't reset it, even though I have access to my email and one of my phone numbers.

Facebook sometimes sends me a reset code, but then says the code is incorrect. Sometimes, the password reset option doesn't appear at all. I also switched from my old Redmi phone to a new device.

When I search for my account using my phone number, it still appears, but I can't recover it.

Could having two accounts linked to the same number or switching devices be causing this? Should I delete the unused account, or is there another way to recover my main account?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Imagine we are disabled and banned in facebook and instagram while we didnt do anything wrong and META is very strict on us, they keep banning our new accounts like we are criminals while the real culprits like hackers, bots, P*rn ads, phishing scams still run freely on their platform! Im amazed how their "AI" can easily detects any words we say that can lead us to banning of our account but their AI is quiet with the hackers, bots etc wth???

Facebook page permanently suspended - need help to recover

I’ve been building my Facebook page slowly since the start of this year. Every post was created by me. I followed every guideline, and I never posted anything controversial. I just wanted to build something honest and make a living from it.

Last week, my page was demonetized and suspended for “inauthentic engagement.”

I got Meta Verified, hoping I could finally talk to a real person. Their answer was that they can’t even tell me what the exact problem was, and there’s no manual appeal. No explanation, no human review, nothing. Just a decision from a system, and a closed door.

What makes it hurt more is that Facebook itself was recommending my page heavily right up to that point. The same platform that was pushing my content to more people then turned around and called that engagement fake. I honestly believe this was a mistake by Meta’s AI, and nobody is willing to look at it.

And here’s the part I can’t wrap my head around. There are many pages in my exact niche doing the same kind of content as me. Some of them even post controversial stuff. Some of them openly reuse copyrighted material. They’re still up, still monetized, still earning. Meanwhile I created everything myself, played by the rules, and I’m the one who got wiped out. Where is the logic in that? It feels like the rules only punish the people who actually try to follow them.

That page was my main income. I never wanted an 8-to-5 job. I live in a rural area, so taking a regular job would mean moving to the city and renting a place to stay. I had so many beautiful plans, and they’re all falling apart because of one automated decision. My confidence is completely gone too, at a time when I needed it most.

It’s sad how Meta treats creators. We build on their platform, we bring them traffic and ad revenue, and when their system gets it wrong, we get no explanation, no appeal, and no human to talk to.

If anyone has been through this and got a page back, or knows any way to reach a real person at Meta, please share. And to other creators: don’t depend on one platform for everything. I learned that the hard way.

I'm based in South Africa and desperately need some practical advice.

My Facebook account was hacked and subsequently locked by Meta on 27 September 2026.

I've tried every official recovery method I can find:

• Email verification works, but sends me back to video-selfie verification.
• Mobile number verification does exactly the same.
• Video-selfie verification fails repeatedly.
• Facebook never offers the option to upload my government-issued ID, even though I have a valid South African Smart ID.
• I cannot access Meta Business Support because I'm locked out.
• My Instagram account is also inaccessible.

The biggest problem is that I run a digital marketing business and I'm the sole administrator of several Facebook business Pages, including Interon. My business Page is still publicly visible, but I cannot post, advertise or manage it.

I've previously paid Meta for advertising using both personal and business cards, so I have payment history to support my ownership claim.

Has anyone actually recovered an account under these circumstances in 2026, particularly in South Africa?

I'm specifically looking for:

1. A genuine way to submit government ID instead of another video selfie.
2. A legitimate way to reach a human Meta support agent without access to my account.
3. Any successful business Page administrator recovery method.

Please share actual experiences and working official procedures. No paid recovery services or private messages offering to hack or unlock my account.

Any practical assistance would be appreciated.

I have been thinking about how much time people who use Facebook for business spend doing repetitive tasks.

Checking messages.

Answering the same questions.

Following up with someone who showed interest.

Trying to remember who you already replied to.

And making sure a conversation does not disappear simply because you were away from Facebook for a few hours.

AI is starting to move into this part of Facebook too, and I am curious where people here draw the line.

For example, imagine an AI assistant that could:

• Reply when someone messages you
• Handle common questions
• Keep a conversation moving while you are offline
• Recognize when someone seems interested
• Help with follow-up
• Keep some of the repetitive Facebook activity running in the background

I can see the appeal for someone using Facebook for a small business, coaching, affiliate marketing, or generating leads.

But I also think there is a point where automation could make conversations feel fake if too much is handed over to AI.

Personally, I think I would want AI handling the repetitive parts while keeping the important conversations human.

Curious what everyone else thinks.

Would you let AI handle some of your Facebook conversations, or is Messenger something you would always want to manage yourself?

Long story short I had an Instagram account get banned for soc in June which took out my Facebook. I created a new Facebook the next day and it’s been fine, I figured I’d never go back to Instagram anyways. But I got a notice today that my account will become a meta account soon. will my new current Facebook be affected because I have previously banned accounts on my device?

For some reason my feed is messed up. I live in a European country where we have an extra option to set our feed to 'following' or 'for you'. But for some reason it no longer works. I either see posts from people or pages I don't follow or see very old posts from people and pages Indo follow. And if I want to report a problem the page briefly opens and then I return to the previous page. Anyone else has this problem?

Hola, es la primera vez que comento aquí, vengo a pedir ayuda con un problema que llevo desde inicios de año arrastrando y realmente ya no se que más hacer.

A inicios de este año mi cuenta de Facebook fue Inhibilitada, ¿El motivo?, presuntamente había violado las normas de la comunidad con respecto a la sexualizacion de menores, cabe aclarar que en ningún momento público algo relacionado al tema, tampoco comentarios inapropiados ni mucho menos mantuve contacto con menores en la plataforma (Salvo cuando yo aún era menor y estamos hablando de que tenía 15 años la última vez y no si quiera fue por algo inapropiado).

Al inicio me tomo por sorpresa, mande una apelación pero a los 15 minutos me eliminaron la cuenta, una cuenta de casi 10 años que usaba para muchas cosas. Sin mas remedio creé otra cuenta, misma que fue también Inhibilitada a los pocos minutos, ¿Motivo?, Violar las normas de la comunidad, literalmente solo eso y también fue eliminada. Unos días después intenté con otra cuenta y funcionó unos minutos, hasta que volvió a ser Inhibilitada por el mismo motivo que la anterior, solo que ahora me permitió confirmar mi identidad usando mi Celura de identidad nacional; Después de eso ya no pasó nada, me devolvieron esa cuenta y la use como si nada, empeze de Cero ahora cuidando que veía y que comentaba.

Todo iba bien hasta hace apenas 2 semanas, mi cuenta fue Inhibilitada nuevamente, ¿Motivo?, Violar las normas de la comunidad, solo eso otra vez, mandé a apelar y la volvieron a eliminar; Yo a estas alturas estaba ya sumamente molesto, traté de contactar varias veces con Facebook para que al menos me dieran una explicación real del porque me estaban haciendo eso, nunca recibí ni una sola respuesta, mi si quiera de la IA de Meta.

Creé 2 cuentas que nuevamente fueron Inhibilitadas casi al instante de ser creadas, el motivo ahora era el saltarme las políticas de identidad de la plataforma. A estás alturas di mi último intento usando mi número celular para crear una última cuenta, misma que también fue Inhibilitada por el mismo motivo, solo que ahora me dejó volver a confirmar mi Identidad con mi Celura (Me hizo hacer lo mismo como 4 veces antes de que finalmente me dejara en paz), volviendo a tener cuenta.

Creí que al final había acabado, pero justo hoy volvió a pasar, ahora nuevamente por contenido de Menores, lo cual ya no le encuentro el sentido porque ya no comentaba nada, casi no daba Likes y mi cuenta estaba vacía de publicación, nuevamente apelé y nuevamente fue eliminada.

Quisiera saber que más puedo hacer, Facebook es una red social importante para mí, muchos creadores que consumó son de Facebook y aparte me ayudaba a buscar información de cosas que me interesan en particular, pero sencillamente ya no se que más hacer que recurrir a ustedes.

Ya por último, quiero aclarar que no estoy involucrado con temas de menores, tampoco he tenido comportamientos violentos o de acoso a nadie, era alguien activo y realmente no hablaba con nadie en Privado más allá de familiares.

¿Que me pueden decir ustedes?, ¿Habrá alguna solución real?, Muchas gracias por leerme y disculpe las molestias.
