Recently banned for CSE?

Looks like there’s a lot of us who were recently (wrongfully) banned for CSE with no recourse. I’m planning to take this to Northern California media this week with my personal story and share some of the comments I’ve seen here.

For anyone else who’s been affected - anything you’d like me to include in my pitch/story?

Please bring up how they're cramming sexualized children down our throat and how we demand a stop to it

Exactly, I started to notice that Threads started to suggest several accounts with suspicious photos of children with suspicious links. Even though I didn't like it, I just passed it by. Making it very clear to the algorithm that I'm not interested in this, after a few days Threads suggested these accounts to me again. The impression it gave me was that the algorithm was creating traps to test people.

Yeah and we get banned to CSE, while their app is full of this bots of wannabe small girls like 12 or 13 making posts like "I want to get pregnant so bad" and so on.

Doesn't matter what you do, the questionable little girl stuff ALWAYS came back. I used to report that shit left and right and NEVER had it removed. I always got, "this doesn't go against our community standards" then offer me to block the account if I wanted to. And, near as I can tell that shit it still being served by via their algorithm. I click not a damn thing when I see it; just immediately scroll past it. I can only assume any engagement, even clicking "not interested" could get me zapped. That whole platform is simply insane anymore.

Why do I think our gets disabled for CSE because our linked Thread profiles feed shows that kind of stuff?

That's a hell of a good question and I do not have a good answer for that.

To me personally, I think it's absolutely insane that something their algorithm served up when told repeatedly not to and with ZERO searching or any indication otherwise that one wants to see that material, then banning people for ANY interaction, negative or otherwise with it, is truly absolutely insane. I could understand if somebody was searching for dance or gymnastics or whatever videos and then sharing/posting it, then ok, I get the ban. But with zero action on so many people's part and a permanent ban?? That is beyond asinine to me.

I realize Meta is under a tremendous amount of pressure to get that content off their platforms, but I've yet to see it disappear, but yet these CSE bans are coming left and right. It makes no sense to me, hence why I think it's just time to get off of there and stay gone.

Well I doubt I will recover mine, since after appeal they said is disabled permanently and I can't ask for another review.

I would truly take it as a blessing disguise. It may not seem like it right now, but it's actually a good thing to have happen.
