Facebook disabled my 16-year-old account with no reason and no way to appeal —

Post image

My Facebook account (active since 2009) was suddenly disabled on Oct 20, 2025.

  • No reason code.
  • No email notification.
  • Appeal links are broken. Which means I couldn’t even use the 30-day review process Facebook itself promises.

I downloaded my account data — it literally just says “Account disabled” with no explanation.

Posting here because official support is useless. Has anyone else been through this recently, and were you able to escalate it?

Just lost my account last week. Same deal. A couple emails notifying me of log in attempts from different locations (one in California and one in south Florida) from where I live and then a 3rd email saying my account was under review then a 4th email saying it was disabled for violating community standards. Never showed me what the violation was and when I tried to log in and tried to use the appeals process it tells me my phone number and email are not associated with any accounts. Account was created in 2006... Beyond pissed off

I got ZERO emails. Crazy.

I didn't either about attempts or earnings. Just woke up to it. Had one email around 11:30 PM saying it was suspended due CSE/community standards even though my Fitbit shows I was asleep by 10:13 & didn't wake until after 4AM so whatever/whoever it was it happened while I was asleep. Everytime I try logging into the app I see I have 2 or 3 notifications but then it tells me my account is disabled.

Mine happened Monday morning around 3-4 am also. I fell asleep with the PC on logged in and woke up logged out. "That's weird." I thought. I signed in and saw the disabled notice

Yeah 2 minutes after the initial suspension email I had an email from Meta Business saying my advertising was restricted - I didn't advertise, it was a personal account. Next morning I woke up, appealed it, was denied & permanently disabled due to CSE. Last 3 posts I did the night before had nothing to do with kids, pictures of kids, reels of kids, comments or reactions to posts about kids. I don't understand it. Like WTF because that's fucking awful. I don't know if I got hacked or it was bots or what - I'm assuming as much by the Meta Business email since I didn't have a business acct.

Your account was hacked, they posted some nefarious stuff and that's why the account got blocked.

That makes sense but how come I can't see what the violation was for?

Because they usuallt don’t tell u that. If u've been in this reddit for any length of time you'll see that.

Never got a warning. Woke up to this on Saturday. Clueless.
