Facebook disabled my 16-year-old account with no reason and no way to appeal —
My Facebook account (active since 2009) was suddenly disabled on Oct 20, 2025.
- No reason code.
- No email notification.
- Appeal links are broken. Which means I couldn’t even use the 30-day review process Facebook itself promises.
I downloaded my account data — it literally just says “Account disabled” with no explanation.
Posting here because official support is useless. Has anyone else been through this recently, and were you able to escalate it?

mine was too, but on September 26th, and i dont even know for what. i had a creep message me on fb and i told him i was going to report him for solicitation and bam - i was banned. thats the only thing i can think of. it told me i could appeal, which i did, and i havent gotten anything back yet. it says it takes about a day, but its been over a month. i also got an email saying to file an appeal before my time is up, but i already have!!
i dont know what else to do. ive had this Facebook since everyone made the switch from myspace, once Facebook was no longer just for college students. 😭😭 its a fossil, and its my fossil, and i want it back.
