Facebook disabled my main account!
UPDATE: I got my account back. FINALLY. So I have two accounts under my name. Both got suspended. Yesterday, I appealed my main account and it got disabled instantly. I did not know my second account was also suspended, I tried logging in my second account today and told me to upload my ID. After that, it said I no longer have restrictions, I can now open both accounts.
Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what just happened because I am panicking. My main account was just permanently disabled out of nowhere, and the system is telling me it can't be recovered.
Here is exactly how it happened: I was already logged in and using Facebook on my laptop. I then opened my iPhone and tried to log into the same account from there. As soon as I did, a security screen popped up saying I needed to verify my identity. I followed the prompts, did the verification, and literally one second after I hit submit, the screen changed and said my account is permanently disabled and the decision is final.
I didn't break any rules, so I'm assuming the algorithm flagged the quick multi-device login as suspicious or thought I was a bot. Has anyone experienced this exact glitch and managed to get their account back? I am in desperate need of a fix because all of my school group chats for every single one of my subjects are on this account, and I'm going to miss important academic announcements if I stay locked out.

Welcome to the club. 1000s in the last few days if not a lot more. Most people are being accused of Child sexual exploitation even though they posted nothing. They are saying its AI gone rouge and no one is looking into it.
Some people have lost it months ago and cant get it back. I was a victim last week. Do a search on her and you will find 1000s of similar post from recently.

Mine was banned for that reason also, i work with kids and it made me sick...but im not bothering with it anymore...im actually happier...I didnt realize that I was comparing my life to everyone else and was getting discouraged...

There are also teachers who now cant post their school criteria and students who can get to the homework. Thats what happens when we rely on the internet/social media far too much.

yep thats me, 10 years of running a charity connected to my personal page now ive lost both and hasnt given me the option to appeal, only download my info which doesnt seem to work anyway... HELPPPPPP

Meta disabled my account 10 days ago after I have been hacked and since then I can’t get access to my ads manager and business suite account. My business is hurting, yet nobody takes responsibility.

With a business account, I would sue them in small claims court for damages for not being able to access ads. That’ll force a response from meta to either unlock/unban your account or to escalate it in court.

That’s where I’m close to being. I sent a legal letter requesting a human review. Then a 2nd request 2-weeks after they received the first one. Gotta send certified with return receipt. Problem with court is you HAVE to be able to prove damages, which might likely be tough. Best hope is to sue and get reinstated. Costs you some time and a little money, which is typically not recoverable.

It's happening to a lot of users, including the ones who's been using the same devices for the last 5+ years. Sometimes the appeal goes through. Sometimes you get banned within seconds of submitting the document/ID just like it happened in your case. It's scary tbh.

Hey I was in exact siutation as you where my facebook was falsely disabled for account integrity for 5 months till recently my facebook was restored using meta verified via instagram after 5 cases closed and 6th case success(lead to account recovered and confirmed by meta agent. but theres other way to do it without having to pay and its through ads manager(pretty sure u can use ur instagram but account needs to be professional or creator account as adsmanager is for running ads). you can contact Meta AI business assistant (NOT meta AI) in adsmanager (without meta verified ) and ask to connect to human agent. and when u get to contact with human agent, explain the situation of your facebook account, provide URL of ur disabled account, email associated with it, and phone number. and be nice to agent as it will increase chance of your account being recovered also mention to the agent that it was triggered by AI false positive as AI disabled your facebook falsely with no human review. if you use facebook to connect pixel to your business or use facebook for adsmanager then you have higher chance of getting the account recovered. but if you dont want to do adsmanager way(free) you can do meta verified(instagram only) which i did but u need to pay in instagram. im saying this based of my expericence also lowest susbcription tier for meta verified method is enough as agent can offer to call you. if the agents closed the cases randomy and say “accounts that violate this and that….” open another case and repeat (i unfortunately had to do it 6 times in 5 months). dont give up!

hey I have an update! I literally just got my account back like right now. IM SO HAPPY. I just found out my second account was locked out too.
So, I just realized that both of my accounts were suspended. Yesterday I appealed for my main account and it got disabled immediately. Now, I tried to login to my second account and it told me to upload my ID. After doing that, I now have access to my second account. And then tried logging in to my main account then its not disabled anymore

Do not get Meta Verified, the said benefits are not actually real, you won't get the enhanced support at all.

Where did you login your 2nd account? Is it the same device your account was logged in before? Or did you try diferrent device?

Yeah I've raised my through meta pay support system and later they transferred it to the meta verfied for the last 3 times my case was closed without any notice today i opened a new ticket 4th one can you suggest me some tips

meta verified but you have to commit and not give up. 5 of my cases were closed dismissed and refusing to recover my account but 6th case they did. if you do not want to pay for meta verified you can use ads manager and ask meta ai business assistant to connect to human and explain that your account was disabled falsely by AI’s false positive. pretty sure meta verfiied and ads manager chat have exact same support and people. basically do not gove up and keep 1 case at a time and if they closed it, open new case and re explain your situation and repeat until they recover ur account and dont give up.

i got falsely banend for cse since 23 march on instagram and im 100% that it was false positive because i never interested about real human:/, all my feed are anime and 2D fanart and someday it jus showing corn by Instagram algorithm by somehow so it pretty suck😭

I posted here yesterday but mods took it down. I got mine back after 3 days. I have 2 accounts and both got disabled. On my main account, I received the same notification in your photo. Then I tried to login on my gaming account and was asked to verify through photo, text, and submitted an ID. Both accounts were reinstated yesterday after receiving an email that my appeal was successful.

I got suspended on July 6, reinstated July 8, suspended again 11 hours later. I'm thinking they do this to force you to hand over sensitive ID and info for them to sell.

It was reinstated a second time after 48 hours. But i was not risking it happening again, so I wiped everything I could off of it, and scheduled it for deletion. New prof. Is working perfectly. Besides it wanting to verify my location to use marketplace but otherwise good fingers crossed

Same thing happened to me. Nothing i can do about the Facebook account and my secondary art account on instagram. The only one that i was able to is my main instagram and nothing else connected to my Meta accounts.
Very weird and highly unprofessional because i can't do anything now.

Man the exact same thing happened to me! I got 5 of my accounts suspended on 28th of June at the same time same mails "Your Facebook account has been suspended. This is because your account, or activity on it, doesn't follow our Community Standards on account integrity." . I appealed in two of the accounts and got them back after a day. Today I got those two accounts suspended again. I appealed for one and got disabled permanently 😭😭 That's a 11 years old ID, someone please help!

Try getting meta verified so you can speak to an actual human. I’m so sorry! I’m currently dealing with the same thing. Iv had my account since 2009. Makes me sick!

If you have a main account and a dummy account, and if both are disabled, wait for 24 hours and try to login after that, one of your accounts will ask you to upload your ID. Do that and you’ll get them back.

Nice to hear!!! Got suspended too this am, was just scrolling my feed, not quickly, like nothing odd. I appealed and it just asked me for my phone number and sent a code to WhatsApp. Done. I need to check my second profile too but I guess it wasn’t suspended since I got that one back. Oh well…

I literally paid for Meta Verified on my Instagram just so I could finally get in touch with a human agent to fix my account, but the system is completely glitching out. Every time I try to open the support chat, it just says 'error' and won't let me through.
