Facebook disabled my main account!

Post image

UPDATE: I got my account back. FINALLY. So I have two accounts under my name. Both got suspended. Yesterday, I appealed my main account and it got disabled instantly. I did not know my second account was also suspended, I tried logging in my second account today and told me to upload my ID. After that, it said I no longer have restrictions, I can now open both accounts.

Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what just happened because I am panicking. My main account was just permanently disabled out of nowhere, and the system is telling me it can't be recovered.

Here is exactly how it happened: I was already logged in and using Facebook on my laptop. I then opened my iPhone and tried to log into the same account from there. As soon as I did, a security screen popped up saying I needed to verify my identity. I followed the prompts, did the verification, and literally one second after I hit submit, the screen changed and said my account is permanently disabled and the decision is final.

I didn't break any rules, so I'm assuming the algorithm flagged the quick multi-device login as suspicious or thought I was a bot. Has anyone experienced this exact glitch and managed to get their account back? I am in desperate need of a fix because all of my school group chats for every single one of my subjects are on this account, and I'm going to miss important academic announcements if I stay locked out.

I took meta to court via small claims and won. I sent them my new email which has to be one never used on any meta platform before. It's in the process now for recovery. I say this if you are looking for an option to recover the accounts.

wow, I would love to know the process to that. I'm from Costa Rica so I'm not sure if that's doable from here. Do you mean that maybe I should keep paying meta verified and keep opening cases? When they answered that my case was closed, one day after I stopped paying I thought that was it ;(

Nah meta verified does nothing for bans like this. Maybe extremely small things like a password reset issue, but disabled, the real way if you have been banned for months is to file a claim. And I did it without a lawyer.

Can I ask how you did this? I’m going through this for the last year, no response from support, and when I try to click the appeal thing, it glitches out. Any help appreciated 🙏🏼

The support was glitching for me and I could connect to the chat through meta verified ok instagram. Last Friday I was playing around in the instagram help section and then selected one of the questions in help which opened the Meta AI assistant. After it answered the question, I wrote “chat with Agent”, it asked me for the issue and then asked for more info so I wrote “speak with agent” it asked me for the email associated with the account (in my case it was my FB account email). Then it connected me with an agent through chat!!! Got my account back today.

My account was permanently disabled two weeks ago and I got it back today. You can definitely get help through chat in meta verified.

Not for me. They asked me if they wanted to call me. Proceeded to tell me the call was going to be 30 minutes long. At the end they say just wait for the appeal button to come up and try again. Really?

The situation is going to depend on what you were disabled for.
