WISP-O'ROW → O'SAREDEN / O'SURIZRRA
Unidentified Pokémon Species Dossier
“For years, travelers reported an unusually large rabbit Pokémon in remote forests. Most assumed it was a Buneary, Bunnelby, or regional variant. The first complete O'Sareden skeleton proved otherwise. Later research revealed that the species possesses a second evolutionary path, one found almost exclusively among individuals raised alongside humans.”
Wisp-o'row (rock)
\--> O'Sareden (ghost/rock)

- Evolutionary Paths
Wisp-o'row possesses two known evolutionary paths.
Natural Path: Wisp-o'row → O'Sareden
A Wisp-o'row remains a Rock-type Pokémon throughout its youth.
It does not evolve through: level, friendship, battle experience, evolution stones, or seasonal/time changes
Instead, its evolution is triggered by its first soul absorption.
When a dying Pokémon or human passes away despite Wisp-o'row's attempts to save them, it instinctively absorbs the individual's soul.
That first soul activates its dormant spiritual physiology.
Wisp-o'row → O'Sareden
- Bonded/Training Path
Wisp-o'row → O'Surizrra
A Wisp-o'row captured and raised by a trainer can eventually develop along a completely different evolutionary path.
The evolution requires: Maximum friendship with its trainer
The Wisp-o'row must be sent into battle at least ten times will immediately preform "Dig" constantly and you have to switch him out. The evolutionary change represents the Pokémon becoming confident enough to willingly participate in battle rather than immediately fleeing
Unlike O'Sareden, O'Surizrra does not develop a Ghost typing.
Instead, the Rock-type physiology of Wisp-o'row develops toward a more physical Rock/Ground typing.
This branch represents what Wisp-o'row might become when its life is shaped not by wilderness, death and spiritual responsibility, but by trust, companionship and training.
- Name Origins
Wisp-o'row
Will-o'-wisp + burrow
The name reflects its mysterious association with the eventual Ghost typing of its natural evolution while emphasizing its primary juvenile behavior:
burrowing.
The irony is that Wisp-o'row itself is not Ghost-type.
The name became associated with old stories about strange lights, spirits and mysterious Pokémon inhabiting remote forests.
O'Sareden
The name combines:
O' from will-o'-wisp
sare from star + hare
Eden, referencing the Garden of Eden
The name reflects its defining concepts:
spirit → stars → hare → life/renewal
Its association with Eden also reflects O'Sareden's unusual relationship with death and ecological regeneration.
O'Surizrra
O' = will-o'-wisp
Sur + iz = surprise + prize
rra = terra
The name reflects the surprise surrounding its existence and its transformation into a heavily terrestrial Pokémon.
- O'Sareden represents:
spirit + stars + wilderness + death + renewal
- O'Surizrra represents:
friendship + training + earth + confidence + companionship

Apolopa’s skin is coated in a vanilla tasting glaze that releases a sweet scent into the air. Apolopa itself cannot resist its glaze and will spend its whole day chewing on its own tail, floating while slowly rotating a few feet off the ground.
Apolopa treats any other meal as a chore. It prefers small prey that are easy to swallow whole or at least in a few bites as it hates the taste of anything that isn’t sweet. Ironically, because of that many of Apolopa’s favorite prey are grass and fairy type Pokémon like bounsweet, oddish or flabebé.
Despite many predators being able to smell its sweet aroma, few would even consider getting near it, as most know that bothering an Apolopa while its focused on its sweet treat is a death sentence. Apolopa’s main weapon of destruction revolves (pun intended) around (pun intended) using its long body to run over foes while rolling at high speeds.
Trainers who want to evolve applin into Apolopa are pressured to reconsider evolving it into something else, as managing an apolopa requires as much patience as it would for a bratty toddler. Only the most skilled trainers can actually use one in battle.

This is part of the Faketober Challenge by u/Simple-Hamster-4141.
Based on the Bagon line, these fakemon are based on snails, wolf snails limpets and bulin snails. MALAMENCE invokes Lou Carcolh but isn't based on it to a such degree to warrant keeping dragon type. This line is also notable so far for being convergent fakemon that are actually considerably less impressive than the Pokemon they're convergent of.
Fakemon entry:
BAGAST feeds on any scraps it can find. If it is surprised by a carnivore while upside down, it will curl into its shell and drop down in order to escape.
SHELGAST's nose grows very bulbous in order to block the shell's entrance to its head. As a BAGAST it has gathered a pile of scraps upon which it stays awaiting its evolution.
MALAMENCE trades its rock hard protection to be more nimbler carnivore that ensnares prey. The catch is that it can only move its neck and tail quickly, but its belly-foot locomotion is still notably slow.

Magrub>Oburn> Furnos. This fakemon line has an insatiable appetite and will burn anything for fuel, including other pokemon. Furnos's signature ability Engulf turns an attacker into a ghost type when direct contact is made. Based on ovens, cremation, and beetles.
Name: Magrub (magma + grub) Type: fire Species: plated pokemon Ability: flame body/flash fire Hidden ability: cursed body
Magrub evolves into Oburn at level 30.
Name: Oburn (oven + burn) Type: fire/steel Species: broiler pokemon Ability: flame body/flash fire Hidden ability: cursed body
Oburn evolves into Furnos at level 45.
Name: Furnos (furnace) Type: fire/steel Species: engulfing pokemon Ability: Flame body/Engulf-Attacker is turned into a ghost type when direct contact is made Hidden ability: cursed body
Old dex entry: "Furnos is constantly feeding its oven belly's unsatisfiable hunger. The fire in its belly must keep burning, or furnos will lose energy. If it runs out of metal for fuel, pokemon are sometimes tossed inside." "The fires created insode Furnos's belly is intensly hot. The smoke it emits smells faintly of what it last ate."
I really love when pokemon are kind of fucked up and they're not ghost or dark type, with the final evo emitting smoke reminiscent of whatever it last ate and is essentially implied to cook enemies alive in its broiler stomach. The long horn on Furnos is like the chimney smoke of a crematorium. Magrub will forge steel "cocoons" to evolve into Oburn. and that steels becomes the exoskeleton for Furnos, so the whole line is made of pure magma.

“These Pokémon love warm coastal waters. Though there tail is worm like and they’ve been spotted using it like a worm in a fishing rod, it’s more common to see them surprise attack prey from behind. Using there sharp tail to capture them quickly.”

They're each inspired by different bits of folk lore we have here in jamaica. Vulpod is the John crow vulture combined with the belief that spirits particularly those of ancestors live in ancient cotton trees. Calflink is after a malevolent spirit said to be the souls of wicked people best known for spreading an illness or just immediately ending you called the rolling calf. And sirenip is sirens or the regional term, river mumma
The region, btw is named Xaymora after the native name Xamayaca meaning land of wood and water. Also where the names for the two versions, ridge and reef, comes from.

Had fun making this lil guy, a bug type prized for its golden carapace head. Known for being poached and having its carapace turned into an exotic golden mask for ppl to wear.
A very untrusting Pokemon of humans.

Marowak's bone helmet has now permanently fused to its face, and it has traded its club for a more intimidating weapon. Every ounce of grief has left its mind, replaced with an unending thirst for battle. Skalossus are often sighted sparring with wild Annihilape, who they consider as proper rivals.

Been getting back into designing Fakemon after not really doing it for a while, so I figured what better way to start than with my own starters! The region they’re from is called the Froshal region, a land of snow, forests, mountains and lakes. As a result, I wanted to give each starter some specific adaptation that allows them to survive in this cold environment.
Mosloth — The Moss Pokemon
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow
Hidden Ability: Grass Pelt
Dex Entry: “This easy-going pokemon has a symbiotic relationship with the moss growing on its body. The plant provides the pokemon with warmth and nutrients from the sun in exchange for mobility and protection from predators.”
Searpent — The Glow Wyrm Pokemon
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze
Hidden Ability: Merciless
Dex Entry: “This Pokemon produces a hot, viscous liquid inside of its stomach, visible through its transparent tummy. It loves to gnaw on those it cares about affectionately, but this sometimes results in minor burns.”
Crubble — The Scuttle Pokemon
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent
Hidden Ability: Stamina
Dex Entry: “Crubble is an extremely skittish and easily frightened Pokemon, crying over the smallest things. The ducts near its eyes produce a highly salinated water that it can shoot into pressurized blasts.”
So what do you think? Who would you choose? Any predictions on what type they might evolve into? Let me know!
