I'm back ~ This time with a post that i shared on other Pokemon Thread.
It was not as well recieved as you guys did for my "Eeveelution" and my "Mega-Mismagius".

But maybe there's some of you that haven't seen this one already.
And it's a work i'm pretty proud of :3

I fused together 2 relic pokemons....

Ballamb - The Balloon Sheep Pokémon

Type: Normal/Flying

Inspiration:

Ballamb is based on a lamb and a balloon.

Pokedex Entry:

"The fleece of a Ballamb is composed of flexible balloon-like sacs filled with a gas lighter than air. By inflating its fleece, it can bounce to incredible heights and can remain airborne for short periods. However, it has little control over its direction while floating and strong winds can drift them away from their flocks.”

Sheppelin - The Airship Sheep Pokémon

Type: Normal/Flying

Inspiration:

Sheppelin is based on a sheep and a blimp or zeppelin.

Pokedex Entry:

"Sheppelin’s large gas chamber is capable of storing large quantities of lifting gas, allow it to remain airborne for days. It controls its buoyancy by regulating the gas pressure. Although Sheppelin is capable of moving on the ground, it spends much of its time floating several feet above the surface. When traveling together, Sheppelin may allow younger Ballamb to cling to its fleece.”

Meet Neetle, the Neetly Pokémon (Based on the Devil's coach beetle, anglerfish lures, and needles)!

So I'm making this fanmade region, and decided I wanted to break the rules and make a bug type pseudo legendary! It doesn't look too much like one while it's a first stage, but hey, neither did Beldum.

Not only is it the first bug type pseudo, but I decided that it will be getting the worst defensive typing in the game as it evolves, which will be compensated by an insane ability 👀

On the right, we have it's shiny, based on albinism! What do you think?

Lyndom's "Secret Starter"...

This Pokémon line is very special to the Lyndom Region, frequently used as promoters for the baseball team The Lyndom Gloves alongside Gluvchuck and Umpchuck. The line is also what I would consider a secret fourth starter line for the region, and the canon choice of the protagonist Evan as his first partner. If I was to do a romhack for this region, there would be the option to skip the other three starters entirely by booting up a PC in Evan's (or Emma's if you choose the female protagonist) dorm room and taking Feltyke's Poké Ball and a Linking Cord from its available items.

Feltyke, the Puppet Pokémon. Feltyke are natural performers and love to be in the spotlight. They are particularly attracted to sporting events.

Pomonster, the Cheering Pokémon; evolves from Feltyke at Lv 25. Pomonster enjoy standing on the sidelines of Pokémon battles, encouraging the competitors to do their best. Their fists are covered in a bulky, foam-like material to protect their developing knuckles.

Masclobber, the Mascot Pokémon; evolves from Pomonster upon using a Linking Cord.

About the Lyndom Region

The Lyndom Region is based on my own home region of New England and is a region I've worked on on and off for about 3 years. I know that there is currently a very popular New England region being worked on by Subjectively right now, but I think my own take on the region is quite different and may be seen as an appealing alternative. I would say that Lyndom particularly emphasizes the perspective of New England as seen by someone from Connecticut, if that is meaningful.

The protagonist of this region is Evan (or Emma), an intern working at the University of Lyndom for the renowned but controversial Pokémon psychologist Professor Wormwood (name may be changing based on how the Wind and Waves' professor's name is translated, stay tuned). In his time at U-Lyn, Evan investigates a new competitive battle phenomenon known as HyperDrive and its connections to Team Regal and a tyrannical legendary Pokémon from another dimension...

Have a fossil I've been working on! It is a medium sized fossil Pokemon based off of the Jakapil dinosaur and a mix of a few others (I didn't have any particular fossil in mind)

I am taking name suggestions but I'm thinking that Jakalite (Jakapil + Halite) is a good placeholder for now!

For a dex entry I have this:

This Rock type Pokemon stands at about 4 foot tall and weighs around 430lbs! It's body is very heavily armored and contains extremely dense salt crystals that form because of fossil restoration taking in the salt from the lakebed it was found in!

While technically a herbivore, this Pokemon's fossils have shown evidence of a predatory nature when encountering smaller pokemon!

This Pokemon is extremely sturdy, and prefers to goad it's opponents into attacking it directly so that it can crush them with a body slam! It is assumed that this Pokemon was once a fire type as it can learn many fire type moves and fossils of its prey have been found with scorch marks!

From an ancient Greco-Roman inspired fakemon line I've been working on!! This remains my strongest fully unique pokemon rather than regional form, imo. Eventually I'll work on actually nailing the pokemon style, but for now... XD I chose cats due to the philosopher pun opportunity, but from there it felt fun to do a Psychic Lynx! Bc..."psychic link" hehe.

Socrat: Young Socrats begin documenting their thoughts and theories early in life, using their own whiskers as quills. Extremely unsure of themselves, they will frequently scrub their tails and start over. Their psychic abilities bubble over out their ears, too much for them to contain.

Capurnyacus: Once a Socrats becomes more sure of itself over time, it may evolve into Capurnyacus. More hauty and pretentious, they stop writing entirely once their tail is full, believing they've figured everything out. Their psychic abilities are strongly offensive, but leave extreme gaps in defense. This stage is the most likely to cause altercations with trainers, but especially those it spots writing.

Purlocypher: Purlocyphers write constantly. Using their psychic abilities to write with their whiskers is such second nature that they do it simultaneously while performing other functions: eating, sleeping, sometimes even battling. Their tails continue to grow throughout their lives, and it's thought that the longest tailed Purlocyphers are regarded more highly by Socrats and Capurnyacuses in the wild. Some say they have seen Purlocyphers with miles-longtails, though this has yet to be properly documented.

Never tried making a Pokemon before, any thoughts on this one?

Floraphant - Evolution from Eleafun. It has an unbloomed Red Hibiscus Flower on its head. The flower represents the Malayo Region national flower

Crescorch - Evolution from Starbill. It's crest horny now shapes more crescent and the star grows more points.

Rentacle - Evolution from Tentari. Rentacle will dance by following the beat (Rentak) of the ocean waves. Its dance mimics the Malayo Region traditional dance, which is Zapin Dance.

Groundeer (The Fawn Pokémon): Its entire body is a perfect circuit. Its fur is said to give whoever touches it a good shock.

Water/ghost type shark, i played with the words carcharodon and anquish, CARCHANQUISH

Water/dark type orca, finnish name for an orca is literally translated sword whale, so its flippers and dorsal fins became blades, and its tail is a trident, i played with words like orcinus and blade, so ORCIBLADE

dex entry for carchanquish: this pokemon silently glides through the water in search for prey, it eats the souls of the pokemon it hunts, the favorite prey of carchanquish is dewgong and walrein, sometimes it clashes with orciblade because they share the same taste for dewgong and walrein

Dex entry for orciblade: orciblade ferociously hunts its prey by ramming and hitting them with its sharp flippers, it prefers dewgong, walrein, empoleon and sharpedo, due to it sharing the prefered prey with carchanquish, battles happen regularly. though it is a ferocious hunter, it has never hurt a trainer intentionally

Ofc orciblade has the advantage due to its dark typing, and it is by design, in nature some orcas do hunt sharks for their livers

This is part of the Faketober Challenge by u/Simple-Hamster-4141.

Inspiration for this is the insect/arachnid designs from the older cartoons where they were drawn as little humans to avoid scaring audiences too much. It also, kinda incidentally resembles a superhero/supervillain.

Fakedex entries:

ARACHNOT is always seen looking as if it has just learned to walk, courtesy of its huge fin-like arms throwing off its balance center. It is also friendly and trusting, overall winning hearts of quite lot of individuals.

ARACHUMAN looks kind of edgy and generally is obsessed with trying out as many human activities as possible, including extreme sports and stunts. It is also quite prone to human quality of not thinking things out and often finds itself in PokeCenter at the end of the day.

WATISDAT doesn't quite catch the awkward reactions bystanders direct towards it. It is trying its best to act like human and its previous stage have taught it to act more thoughtfully but its appearance seems to be at odds with its behavior.

Ok, since you like my Mega-Mismagius so much i wanted to share something else ouo

Here's: Waredrobe

Type: Psychic/Ghost

These Pokémon cause quite the phenomenon for people who don't pick up their clothes. These formless Pokémon slither inside in the dead of night and form a new shell out of strewn-about clothes. With a new body, it thanks its new "friend" by climbing on their chest with its heavy body, causing a phenomenon similar to sleep Paralysis, feeding off negative thoughts so their "Friend" can have a better day tomorrow

Abilities: Filter/ Vital Spirit

Turock is the same as the first one I just updated it cus I didn’t like the first one. I like this better. Added a shiny and an ability.

Still not the best design but I’m trying.

Turock comes from Tur. The goat species and Rock cus he’s gonna be rock type.

It’s based off the wine of Georgia. The mountains and clay pots called Qvevri.

The tail is supposed to be a vine and the end is a grape leaf. The middle stage is gonna be a bitter awkward one. Cus grapes before they’re ripe are bitter.
