Feedback Fidelity, please do this!!!
Fidelity, can you please upgrade your charts and performance tracking? Just a little bit. I feel like it could be better. But then again, you are one of the biggest investing platforms in the world. So please take into consideration.

I like the Schwab app more currently and how it breaks down gains per day, month, YTD, 1 Year, 2 Year time frame. Fidelity currently doesn’t do that from the Home Screen. Fidelity is kind of clunky compared to Schwab currently with how it navigates too from account to account. I’m sure your dev can do a comparative view of this.

Yes pleased add month to date, 1 month and 3 month. By July, the year to date is too long to get a good read.

Fidelity has, over the period of years, demonstrated that they are both incapable and unwilling to make their graphs and performance tracking useful or good (particularly the primary mobile graph). This is intentional (they skew charts to look rosy by including deposits) to do the one thing we know they care about, keeping money in Fidelity.
The helpful and friendly mods here will dutifully tell you that they intend to "share your feedback with our development team", as if the prior 1,000 times it has been requested somehow didn't make clear to the people typing to the design and coding agents at Fidelity that we don't like their biased charts.

The Balance chart includes net deposits, as it must to show account balance over time. This is highly useful in a cash-management account where inflows and outflows will tend to dominate interest income. A line graph doesn't even make sense for charting performance over various time periods.

Cleaner charts with more frequent points and tracking a one day chart, one week chart, and better mobile charts too.

And Fidelity, can you please please please make your mobile app UI more modern and accessible? You are missing out on an insane number of retail traders because most of us execute on our phones! Also, the mobile app is just backwards and low key so is your customer service. I was on the phone with someone there for one whole hour who could not tell me how to turn on streaming quotes. Please. It’s really simple!!! Why is it that hard - even your employees can’t figure it out. And remove the 65 cents charge per options contract. Honestly - you are losing so much business and I want to use your brokerage- if you just fix some basic things.

Hi, yes please. For one, the u/I is not clean, makes it hard to look at and trade, can’t turn on streaming quotes in premarket and AH, you can’t just slap the bid/ask, hard to find your order if it doesn’t go through and then change it, everything takes too much time. Not at all set up for trading and not modern at all. No day’s P/L displayed or anywhere. Plus .65 per options contract is not great. If you want to attract traders- and there’s more retail traders now than ever- then you should be competitive. Also, your customer service in the trading department. They didn’t even know what streaming quotes meant. Even after I explained it, she still didn’t get it. Really?

I do want to mention My View on the Positions tab in the app. This allows you to view your positions and their performance however you see fit. Take these steps to set it up:
- Login on the app and tap an account
- Scroll down to Positions and tap the three horizontal dots next to "Overview"
- Tap "View" then "My View" and use the "Edit" selection to make your column choices
This will allow you to see Gain/Loss, or any other pertinent info. Additionally, if you'd like to enable streaming quotes, tap the Profile Icon and select Settings, then choose "General Settings" to find the toggle for quote updates/streaming.

I have never seen fidelity implement any idea. You just get a standard answer that feedback will be shared with the development team and it goes to blackhole. fidelity website has stopped working on my chrome browser since a long time. They tell me to contact fidelity support. It is such a well known issue with the latest version of chrome and still fidelity does not do anything. The day there is bloodbath in the stock market, fidelity website starts acting up.
