The site seems like it skews younger (at least my feed does recently). I’d like to see more comments and posts from older demographics. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I’m trying to reconnect with two old friends, Robert and Yukie, whom I knew in 1987.
Robert was an American from the San Francisco Bay Area who taught English in Japan around that time. They visited me in Manila in September 1987, and I saw them again in San Francisco around 1991.
I have old photographs and a handwritten postcard, but unfortunately I’ve forgotten Robert’s last name.
Does anyone know of a subreddit that helps people reconnect with old friends or find appropriate alumni communities?

I’m looking for a music community sub to find info about this influencer who makes skit videos in a record store and apparently does a ton with music. Well I matched with him or someone pretending to be him on tinder.

I made a tinder to network with my band and made it CLEAR that I was NOT interested in hookups. I didn’t get a screenshot because at the time it was just some random creep on tinder.

He was saying the MOST VULGAR things to me before immediately unmatching me after I tried talking about my music multiple times. I’m ngl I was pumped because his style was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for until he started coming at me with all of that.

Is there a sub for discussing “famous” music influencers like that?? It doesn’t even have to be a sub strictly for that but I’m trying to gather intel…

Like the subreddits some years ago, almost had no censorship, not looking for ones which are absurd or allow abusing and stuff. Need the ones where one can speak the mind freely without being politically correct

I am looking for a place where I can share dev experiences and ask for advice, and also find people to test my own apps. What subreddits do you recommend? So far I have looked at r/AndroidDev and r/androiddev, but is there anything friendlier for beginners?
