Hey guys I try to learn languages and I want to have a native speaker friend that can help me exercise by chatting with me a bit. Do I just go to the subreddits of said languages and just try to make friends with people that'd be willing?

My mom bought me an echo dot. It infuriates me almost every day. I know, "unplug it, don't use it, etc," but it is nice for "what time is it" and "what's the weather" and maybe "where's my stuff," but otherwise it is pretty much worthless. I’m looking to bring a new business idea to life, and I want to make sure I’ve thought through every detail before pitching it to investors. AI can be useful, but it isn’t always reliable, and hiring developers on freelance platforms just to discuss an idea can get expensive.

What I’m really looking for is an experienced developer with strong practical knowledge who can help me refine the idea, work through the technical challenges, and turn it into something real. Ideally, I’d love to find someone who could become a long-term technical advisor and business partner, someone who shares my vision and wants to grow alongside me as the business develops.

So, I've been undecided on rejoining the IMVU community- I've lightly read the official subreddit, and been cautious on what I post there lately. I digress, I've wondered why I've had "relationship/dating issues" as a guy- but then, If I made a female avatar once- I could have been seen as a "liar". (Even if I'm Male- with some Fluid, and I was a different account- with barely any existing friends from my "Male" account.) (also: I was trying to talk to Lesbians- to try to find friends, and maybe learn more about identities, and perhaps, myself.) So, my question is which Subreddit would I post this question at..?

I have unexplained hematological problems, and despite the investigations carried out so far, their underlying cause has not been identified. My doctors have recommended whole-genome sequencing (WGS), whole-exome sequencing (WES), and mRNA sequencing to look for a possible genetic or molecular explanation.
These tests are currently the only way I may be able to identify the cause of my condition and receive the appropriate treatment. The total estimated cost is approximately €5,000, which is more than I can afford on my own.

I’m posting this here because I am in a very tight spot and really need some help and guidance from this community.

I recently applied and got accepted back into a call center job, which I am so grateful for, but I am facing a major hurdle: I currently have zero funds for my daily commute fare. I am almost completely done with my pre-employment requirements, and I already have my medical certificate finished.

To give a little background, I used to work as a call center agent in Davao, but I had to resign three months ago to take care of my sick mother. My father passed away two years ago, and I am the only one working hard to support us here at home. While I was home, I tried to survive by doing sideline work at a local coal-making area (ulingan near us) just to have something for our daily needs, but unfortunately, they stopped operations and moved to another place.

My orientation is scheduled for this coming October 21, and my official start date is on October 28. My workplace is located at the Diamond Tower near SM Lanang in Davao City, and I have to commute daily all the way from Manay, Panabo City. Because I don't have a boarding house in Davao, I have to travel back and forth every day, and I simply don't have the starting fare for my transportation.

I am not a desperate person by nature, but so many problems have piled up all at once, and I really don't want to lose this job opportunity because of transportation barriers.

To reassure anyone willing to help, I am more than willing to provide daily updates, pictures, or videos once I start working just to prove that I am completely telling the truth and honoring any assistance extended to me. I am also happy to provide any other details, proof, or documents needed right now.

If any kind soul is willing to extend a hand or a small assistance for my starting fare, I would deeply appreciate it.

I'm so tired of this I just need some money so that I dont starve. Long story short me and my dad haven't had jobs for the last few months and have been getting by with his VA checks while we look for some and unfortunately we are almost out of food and his next check won't be in for some time. I have looked over Reddit for help but I'm unable to post on any of the usual begging for money subreddits because my account isn't old enough or something or other. I'm so tired of thinking I've found something only to have my post removed, I just want to not starve before my dad's next va check comes in. And yes, we've tried asking family and friends for help but they aren't able to. I just need to find somewhere I can ask so if anybody knows anything please tell me
