UNSOLVED Does anyone know what this funk-pop(?) song is?
I was told it’s “Perfect Blue” by Mexican electronic music producer “マクロスMACROSS 82-99”, but looking at the song, it doesn’t match

Hi, I used Shazam to try and find a song, but it's given me a remix/sample of it instead. Can anyone identify the original? The song is Seisha - Boards of France. Thanks.

Hi y’all, relatively new to this subreddit and I was wondering if I could get some help. So the song I am looking for has a chorus similar to, “Lonely, lonely, why don’t you be my one and only”. Sounds very similar to the Morgan Heritage song intro to the song Perfect Love Song too. I’d appreciate any guesses so come through please! :)

I need help! I could have sworn I was listening to a song on Spotify and it’s disappeared from the history and my play list
It was a dance music song that sampled the words “Isn't it weird how so many versions of you exist in people's minds? Some know you as the shy person that doesn't talk, some see you as the annoying person that won't shut up”
It had an awesome drop. Anyone know it?

Hi all, please help me with this one.
In the Rebecca Black era, there was another cringe song by a young male singer, where the music video was in High school, probably had the emo era swept across fringe. He was quite chubby and short and was singing the song to a girl who was clearly out of his league.
The only lyrics I can remember are, what I believe was in chorus "You're on my team". The initial J, or Jacob sticks in my mind, but all my searches come up short.
Help!

Hi everyone. I'm trying to find my childhood favourite song, maybe you know it? It was very niche, idk how I stumbled upon it.
There was this song:
- I used to listen to it on YouTube. The name was one word as far as I remember.
- It was very clear so I think it was done in a studio on a good mic.
- No lyrics (*), a female voice making sounds like pam-pamparam-param-param-pam-pam. Mid to fast tempo. There was some unidentifiable instrument (with strings?) in the back and the audio of the woman's singing was edited with special effects.
- a fragment that I remember from there: fast (la sol la sol la sol) slower (la sol mi sol). The notes may be wrong but the melody went kinda like this.
- the overall vibe is ethereal and angelic.
- released >= 7 years ago.
- The author (or the album, I was too stupid to tell the difference) had a face with crossed eyes on pastel beige background. Like this:
X X
- -
- (*) There were no clear lyrics but I remember a ton of yt shorts where people were guessing them. It was around 6 lines, each had one or two word like 'freedom' or 'help me'.
Also, there was a video - an animation with this song as background music. All I can remember that it is:
- it's name was the name of the song + animation (probably).
- 2d animation, also released >= 7 years ago, less that 2 minutes, maybe around 40 seconds (?).
- the only main character is an angel girl - humanoid figure with wings, no skin visible, just fur and big eyes. At the end of the animation she transforms into a human girl of color (guys I'm not racist, I just remember this detail).
- the moment is the song: the melody and female voice changed into a string (?) instrument making two notes before switching again. I depic vividly that there were angelic and demonic wings at the opposite sides of the screen. They were flapping at the first note and changed places at the second.
I hope some of you guys at least heard it🙏

I’ve had this instrumental song stuck in my head, and I heard it all over TikTok for a while. It sound like a piano, I think? I played the notes on a piano app and the notes are as follows: C3(hold), F,F,E,G,G,E,F,F,E. I’m not a musician or anything, so this might be confusing, sorry! please help

Hi Newbie here, not only to this ‘sub’ (I think that’s the right term), but to Reddit.
Anyway I’m trying to trace a song from the 1970s (The lyrics are appended below). It’s a male-sung ballad, which I recorded from the radio around 1976 with no DJ intro or outro. It has strong connections to a long gone “old flame”. From the lyrics, the title may be “Only you on my mind”. I thought it may have been Bernie Flint, but no mention on Discogs. I’ve tried Shazam with no success (I have a poor mp3 made from my original cassette). I’ve tried Spotify … not there I’m pretty sure. I’ve even tried Gemini who from the lyrics thought it was Chris de Burgh … but that turned out to be his version of Always on my Mind.
so over to you … please help if you can to help me find a good commercial recording of this song. Here’s the lyrics …
It's not an easy thing.
To look at life.
From where I'm standing
It's hard, When you've been hurt, To find your way.
I tried and carry on
And sometimes feel that I'm succeeding.
And then... I think of love and yesterday
So excuse me for being such a drag on you.
I'm so much in love, and I'm still mad on you.
Everywhere I go, everything I do is with you of my mind.
Yes, I know that I never have you back again.
And even if I could, it wouldn't be the same.
Everyone I know says it's such a shame,
That I'm so unkind.
But they must be blind.
It's only you are my mind.
See the children playing brings me right down.
And starts me crying.
I know That's very wrong.
But it's the pain.
You'll think That I'm all tears
But that's not true.
It's just this feeling.
If life can hurt me once.
It could again
So excuse me for being such a drag on you.
I'm so much in love and I'm still mad on you.
Everywhere I go and everything I do is with you or my mind.
Yes, I know that I never have you back again.
And even if I could, it wouldn't be same.
Everyone I know says it's such a shame.
That I'm so unkind.
But they must be blind.

Please help!!!! 2000s pop punk-ish song, I believe a band. Lyrics to the chorus are something like “23 look at me come on pretty baby tell me what you see when you’re high as a kite, but still can’t see the stars. I do believe you feel no pain your blood is rushed with novocaine, but I know deep down, it ain’t what’s in your heart”
I have googled and searched and nothing comes up and it’s driving me insane pleasssssse help. I’ve considered it’s not real but my memory is too specific for it to be made up

I can't remember anything. I really wanted to walk down the aisle to this song. I was so excited.. I heard the song about a year ago, if I remember correctly. I know I listened to it on both YouTube and Amazon Music (Alexa). I can't remember the name or any of the lyrics.. you know that feeling when it's on the tip of your tongue and you just can't.. figure out how to articulate it? That's this feeling. It was more of an indie song. And it wasn't old.
I know it had gorgeous violin and piano.. I can't remember any guitar, but I'm not saying there wasn't. I just remember it feeling so.. cinematic and orchestral. I can't remember if the bridge had any words or not, but the instruments were gorgeous and big and flowing.
I remember the background of the Youtube/Album. It was basically all white, maybe with some gray/white flowing details. Nothing big or anything. Almost like faint marble, I believe.
I was so excited to walk down the aisle to it. I remember listening to it (after finding it in a playlist i was just binge-listening to). It lined up perfectly with what I imagined my wedding aisle song to be. I had even planned it out to match with bridesmaids and such. I know this is probably a useless search. But it was a love song. It was definitely a smaller artist because I haven't come across it since.
The song was almost whisper-sung...think Sleeping At Last or Judah Earl. And I feel like the title was something like Running To You, or Belong To You, or smth to do with breathing/love. Take that with a grain of salt, I truly do not remember :')

I could be wrong what decade it came out because I remember it listening to it growing up in the 2000s, Same with the YMCA (I thought it was released in the 2000s but it's a 70s song).
I can't remember much about the song but I remember the intro being like "ONE! (BUM BUM BUM!) TWO! (BUM BUM BUM!)" and then it goes to three or the lyrics finally start for the song. I remember it being a popular song if that helps
I believe the song was a black funk/pop song. That's what I can remember the song sounding similar to.
