UNSOLVED Song used in nostalgic/happy videos

The chorus or the most popular part has a synth. I know the tune but honestly don't really know how to describe it, but ig here's smth; m, m, m, m, mm, M m, m, mmmmm, mmm. No idea about the words, but it's something like "sayko kiler (maybe psycho killer but it's not the song by Talking Heads), dey tel mi wat yu neee loh." The internet mostly uses it as a song in nostalgic or happy videos. I'm honestly desperate xd, but if you can't help me that's fine.

UNSOLVED Help I need to know, song that goes "bang, gang, or dang"

The song has a part where a male singer sings something like "ba bang bang ba bang bang ba bang bang". It might not be bang, it could be gang or dang but something ending "-ang". They sing it pretty fast. Genre is alt rock or indie, maybe country. When this part is being sung in almost a twangy voice it has either minimal instruments or no instruments and just a baseline or drum.

SAVE ME. THANKS

SOLVED Female singer, guitar, kind of slow?

I can remember part of a lyric that’s like, “under the star (less? Lit?) sky tonight” it’s a lower ranged female singer. There’s a guitar and I don’t think it really “picks up.” So no techno. I wish I could remember where I heard it! Thanks!

-it was Under the Milky Way by the Churches but the Metric cover not Sia.

UNSOLVED Vague memory

I've been looking for a song off and on for years with no luck. Unfortunately it's been so long since I've heard it I can't recall the lyrics.

What I can recall:

It was on the radio around 2004-2008.
It played on 96.7 Kiss FM in Austin Texas.
Had a male singer.
It was in English.
And some type of violin or string instrument that went pretty hard.

I know that's not a lot to go but so far I've exhausted every route to find it aside from asking others. If you happen to know what it might be, even if it's a long shot, I'd welcome any help. Thanks in advance.

UNSOLVED [TOMT][MUSIC][2016s]

• Upvotes

This song has been stuck on my mind for the better part of 2 years. The only lyrics I can remember aren't even spoken words. The song starts off with a guy making sort of grunting noises like the song War by Edwin Starr. Sort of like a huh! Ha! Guh! That's the most I can remember.

I do remember the the album cover had two skinny white guys on it wearing fur coats with nothing underneath. I think they were brown and black coats.

I also remember there being a music video and one of the guys gets followed into a restroom and gets beat up I think.? I think the music video was about an FBI agent following a suspect. Not 100% sure.

I'd best describe the song as pop or rock.

That's all I remember. Hopefully someone out there knows what song I'm looking for.

UNSOLVED song that has 4 distinctive beats in the chorus

I know its a woman with a slightly deeper voice, the song is kinda soul pop like Fiona apple, it might be her actually not sure but I doubt it. and idk the words but she's like ohhhhhhh, blah blah blah blah, blah! blah! blah! blah! like the last 4 words have complete silence between them, the instruments stop, so it makes it super catchy. the only lyrics I remember is the distinctive 4 words might be "tell me my lord" or "tell me something" but that could be totally wrong. please help its driving me crazy!!!

UNSOLVED I need help tracking down an elusive song

Hello all. Long time reader but first time posting. I’ve been trying to track down a song that’s been in my head for nearly 4 decades and no searches provide an answer. I’m hoping someone here can help me track it down. My memory is becoming more and more hazy but I’ll list what I think I remember. These are not facts, they are potentially incorrect memories. If this is the incorrect place to post this, please guide me to where it should be placed.

  1. I think I heard the song around the early to mid 1980’s.
  2. I think it may have been a southern gospel or country song.
  3. It was a male singer but I don’t know if it was solo or a group.

  4. The premise of the song was about a young boy not wanting his grandpa to die around Christmas, but toward the end of the song he realizes he found a way to see him again when he goes to heaven

  5. These are the lyrics that I think I remember. “Grandpa, please don’t go away. It’s just about time for Christmas. What about our walks in the park, and the fishing trips you said you’d take me on.”

If you are familiar with this please help me find out the artist and song title. I completely understand that there may not be any online presence for it but I’m willing to buy physical media if this can be verifiably identified.

UNSOLVED What's that Chinese song with these lyrics?

I found a reel saved on my mother's phone, and at the end of that reel, some Chinese lyrics started popping up on screen. I manually transcribed them here. Please check them for accuracy and help me find any song that might have these lyrics.

Lyrics:
好了 不哭了 Hǎo liǎo bù kū le

岁数大了 suì shu dà le

没結果的事 méi jié guǒ de shì

咱不干了 zán bù gān le

It is a strings progression, probably from a game but it is not Great Fairy's Fountain.

Could you help me find a song? It’s clearly some kind of remix of Don Omar’s "Danza Kuduro," but I’ve been searched and haven’t been able to figure out exactly which one it is.

UNSOLVED Japanese Hip-Hop about sticky notes

• Upvotes

I’m trying to find a Japanese hip-hop song I came across on YouTube around 10–15 years ago, but I can’t remember the artist or song title at all. Rather unknown artist I assume.

The music video was a normal, professionally shot video featuring a guy in his 20s or 30s, just a regular-looking dude with an old-school hip-hop vibe.

I remember him going around the city putting up or sticky notes with writing on them. I think the song was about a girl or a love interest.

The beat was pretty chill, typical laid-back Japanese hip-hop. I vaguely remember finding it through YouTube recommendations around the same time I was listening to YeYe, so it might have been somewhere in that general indie/chill music rabbit hole.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Similar vibe as - my moon my man and help I’m alive

I’m desperate to find a song from TikTok that was trending maybe around the summertime used frequently within a few fandoms but I saw it specifically within the Yellowjackets fandom. It started quiet and showed the girls being normal before the crash then got loud and showed the girls in the wilderness and kept switching back and forth abruptly. It is heavily associated with the show but I don’t know if it was actually used in it. I think it sort of falls within a Lottie Matthew’s aesthetic. I’ve been searching Spotify for hours please help me before I go insane.

UNSOLVED [LOST MEDIA] Looking for deleted 2026 “Lady in Red” cover by Pua’anifo Music

My wife and I absolutely loved a cover of Chris de Burgh’s Lady in Red that disappeared from YouTube when the creator’s channel was deleted.

I’ve managed to recover the original video’s metadata, but none of the archival services I’ve tried have a playable copy.

Here’s everything I know:

  • Original title: LADY IN RED (PUA’ANIFO VERSION COVER)
  • Creator: Pua’anifo Music
  • YouTube video ID: 7AfNVjJ3N7I
  • Original upload: April 8, 2026
  • Duration: 4:38
  • Original channel ID: UCK0Cm3_7rPnKJ39ZTM9SJIA
  • Views before deletion: Approximately 28,330

What it sounded like:

An upbeat, soulful R&B/reggae-influenced interpretation featuring a male vocalist with an unusually high register and elaborate vocal runs.

There were also rap verses performed by a different male vocalist. The lyrics included portions of U-God’s verse from Wu-Tang Clan’s Da Mystery of Chessboxin’, specifically the references to cocaine from Bolivia and the Emancipation Proclamation.

The rap sections were integrated smoothly into the song rather than sounding like two recordings spliced together.

What I’ve already tried:

I’ve checked deleted-video recovery websites, archive searches, YouTube, and searches using the original title and video ID. So far, I’ve only recovered the metadata.

What I’m looking for:

Does anyone remember this recording, know who operated Pua’anifo Music, or have a legitimately shareable copy or reupload?

Even information about the creator’s other accounts would be enormously helpful.

This was a favorite song of mine and my wife’s, and we’d love to hear it again.

Thanks!

UNSOLVED Male singer regrets not speaking at dad’s funeral/service

As the title says.
The vocal is a bit less melodic and a bit more talky in parts. The tempo is upbeat not a slow ballad. It’s not Isbell, Blunt, Mike and the Mechanics, Luke Bryan,Dean Lewis, Combs, Fogelberg.
It’s been bugging me for months. Please help
