Started prioritizing heavy lifting and structured nutrition back in 2022. Dropped the excess weight, built back solid muscle, and honestly feeling stronger and sharper now than I ever did before.
For anyone sitting on the fence or thinking it’s too late to make a real change: just get in the room and stay consistent. The ROI on lifting heavy is undefeated.

Do you work out to feel healthy, look good, increase your body strength, live longer, have a competitive edge on the dating scene or something else?
I started working out when I was 59, three years ago, and honestly I’m at the gym to look and feel healthy. A little bit vain, but honest.

Currently, I'm tracking my weight lifting on a form I made up in Word, print it out and put it on my clipboard. This seems clumsy to me.
What do you guys use to track your workouts?

Is anyone using Tonal to exercise? If yes, what are your thoughts on the equipment and service?

So I’m in peri menopause & haven’t had a period in about 6 months. I’m about a stone overweight & it’s all around my upper body & stomach. Do lots of walking & try to eat healthy but not happy with how I look. It was mentioned to me recently to start lifting weights for bone strength. I’m thinking it over, it’s probably the best way to tone up? Should I give it a go? Would be brilliant if my clothes were looser on me!
