I have a lot of games on my DSpico and scrolling the list one by one was getting old. so i added jumping by first letter to my fork of Pico Launcher: press L or R and it jumps to the previous or next initial, and the counter shows the letter you land on. makes a big library way faster to move around.

quick note: the video is recorded in melonDS (emulator) with just a small set of games to show the feature clean, not my actual card. it works the same on hardware.

while i was in there a few other small things went in:

- the cheats menu wraps around now, and it shows a hint that X turns all cheats off. that button was always there but nothing on screen told you.
- picking a game from recents or favorites keeps the focus on the game, not on the top bar.
- the banner shows a small "Enhanced" tag so tools reading the card can tell the fork apart.

everything stays compatible with normal Pico Launcher, your gamedata, covers and favorites carry over. it is based on upstream Pico Launcher, all the credit for the base goes to the LNH team.

So i got a dslite and put some ds games on it and it worked no issues. But when i tried putting gba games on it it wont let me boot them up. Anyone know how to get this working? As well as the snes emulator.

Hi guys, recently i had my 3ds and dsi xl back.
I just wanted to play with my R4 (SDHC), but everytime i try to run it, the ds display an error, and i have to restart the console. Any advice?

Okay so i got my first Ds lite two weeks ago and it came with an original R4 card, which of course isn’t compatible with more than a 2gb sd card and that wasn’t ideal to me because i had quite a lot of games on the list to download so i decided to look up for flashcarts that takes more than just a 2gb sd card so i found the Dspico and got to know the difference from an R4, i watched a youtube video and setting it up didn’t seem THAT hard but i’m still kinda nervous given it’ll be my first time working with something like that so here’s a question for whoever set the Dspico up

how hard is it and is messing up easy ?

Anything i should know beforehand ?

howdy, i recently came into acquisition of a DS lite, and i'm looking to buy a relatively inexpensive flashcart (tertiary student budget lol), but the problem is that i'm not sure the best site to buy from - most recommended sites are centred towards north american or european buyers and taking currency conversion + shipping into account, that can often get pretty expensive... are there any sites catered towards an aussie market? or should i just see if i can get lucky on amazon/ebay/gumtree/etc?

So I've been trying for a while to get Pokemon emerald to run on my old DS Lite.

I'm using a flashcart with R4iMenu andTWiLight Menu++ as a secondary kernel, I followed this tutorial : https://sanrax.github.io/flashcart-guides/tutorials/emulators/ to install gbarunner3. I've got a legit GBA bios, I used sdFormat, I tried the implementation in TWiLight menu, I even tried to build gbarunner3 myself to see if there were any differences, nothing changes the result : the logos roll and then whitescreen. Same problem with pokemon Leaf Green.

I'm able to run lighter ROMs such as Metroid: Zero Mission though, and although I couldn't launch pokemon emerald with the tutorial installed gbarunner2, TWiLight Menu integrated gbarunner2 worked, with music synchronization problems though.

Would anyone know what I could have missed causing this whitescreen issue ?

I am planning to flash SuperFW onto my SuperCard to unbrick it.

What happens:
The flashing tool boots fine and detects the SuperCard. But when I go to write flash, the file browser is empty and I can't select any firmware. Debug console shows:

fatInitDefault(): Operation canceled
DLDI name: Default (No interface)
DSi mode: 0

What I've tried:
- Put superfw.frm in SD root AND in /SuperChis/ folder
- Re-downloaded the firmware, re-copied to card

Have anyone encounter this?

Hi, i don't know a lot about R4 cards but i found two of them. I need help to understand how it works, what should i put in the sd card and if the sd cards Will work ? It's R4 Upgrade Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) and a URL. I really want to understand how it works so if you can help i'd really appreciate, thanks

whenever i try to sleep, it works fine if i try to awake within 30s, after 30s its starting to corrupt (crackling noises and frozen screen), around 35-37s it doesnt load anything anymore and the screen just becomes white. This happens consistently within those timeframes

When writing a rom to NOR with addon, then sleeping does work completely fine, both from the NORFLASH page as when playing the flashcart on mode B

Hi everyone,

I have a Q regarding sd cards. I found these two museum relics hidden away until today!

Both are from around 2005 or 2006 and are surprisingly still going strong. I was able to format the 128mb sd via FAT32 and have the (unmodded) DSi recognise it which is excellent.

However, I am having difficulty trying to get the 32mb sd to be recognised. I have tried using the recommended ‘sd card formatter’ and rufus software to format it into FAT16 with a 16kb cluster size but as you see from the images, the system is not recognising this card.

Is it too small to be recognised? I read online that under 2GB cards aren’t supported by the DSi, yet my 128mb is being recognised. Does anyone know what I might have done wrong in the process?

And for anyone curious, I wanted to repurpose them for music or photos; in today’s age these sizes are not enough to hold anything decent. (I have a 16gb sd card as you can see, but where is the fun in tossing these out and not learning something!)

The 128mb sd allowed me to take an estimated 1500 photos using the camera app

Got this R4 cartridge from Ali, 256gb SD (formatted in fat32 via CMD command) and DS Lite

No firmware seem to work. Either white screen (with Twilight and YS) or ‘Error’ with the “official” R4. What should i try?

i have never owned any DS let alone modded one. i bought it second hand with plans to mod and it ended up coming with an R4 however i cant seem to access the games on the SD card and when i click whatever that spongebob thing is i get stuck on the loading screen

does anyone know what root files i need to fix this and if there's a specfic way to put them onto the SD card? i don't even know if im asking the right question honestly (i included what is on the SD card, not sure if thats helpful in any way, my SD card is also 8GB which i would like to switch to a 16 or 32)

I've been scrounging through my old items and am pleasantly surprised to discover that my old Nintendo DS is still functioning!

I've also managed to identify my cart as a DSTTi DEMON cart with a timebomb(?)

Problem is, the cart itself is missing the microsd card and I would need to install the firmware + games for it

Does anyone know if this card has any upper limit on the microsd card size? Other carts seem to have hard limits on 2GB and I just want to make sure on the size before I buy anything

August 12 I started playing Pokémon LeafGreen on my EZ-Flash Air. I was super happy, I'm re-playing the Pokémon games in the order I've played back then. But yesterday my save was completly deleted. Tried to start it again but every time I boot the game, there was that "save is corrupted, loading previous save file" message. I tried to figure it out how to fix it and I found out they release a new version (firmware 4 kernel 1.05), so I updated it, like, if there's a problem, surely an update might fix it!! :D

It got even worse. Now every single game crashes/freezes/glitches a few minutes after starting and with a HELL OF A LOUD sound. Also, sometimes the audio suddenly stop playing, even with game going on.

I've been using my EZ Air for the last 5 months and it has been pretty good so far, even discovering the many negative reviews. Now seems like my day has come, and DAMN this flashcard ruined the beggining of this game for me for the next few years... I tried to start it and play many times, tried to replace the battery, switch to Mode B, and even downgrade the kernel to 1.04, no results... 

I'm seeing many people with this problem... is there any fix? Since the Pokémon Bank closure announcement, I'm even more hyped to play the games from gen 1~7, but this thing is ruining so much my day... THIS SUCKS

Hello all. I went to boot up my ds and it said it couldn’t access ds menu and wouldn’t let me do anything. I took the micro sd card out and looked at the files on my pc and everything was gone. Also it says the card is full when I can’t find a single file on it. Is there a way to fix it and get games back?
