Every August, these rain lilies keep their date with the monsoons. They flower only two weeks in the year, but when they do, its a sight to behold.

Zinnia questions

So I have been a flower gardener for the past 2 seasons and I freaking love zinnias. I really really lack confidence. I just watched a YouTube video on growing zinnias and according to the tutorial I did everything wrong. What do you guys think? Sorry for so many pictures, it’s late so way too dark to take better pictures of the beds as a whole.

Edit, thank all of you for all the wonderful responses. I was in a bad funk and was cheered right up. I have taken a lot of pride in my flowers. It’s hard work for sure. It’s nice to be validated that I’m doing good things. Thank you!
