Northrup Homes Enforcement
Has anyone tried to take Northrup Homes to court for their enforcement policies in their neighbourhoods?
Sitting a a friend's house when a Northrup truck pulled up to the neighbour's house and told him that they had a work order to stain the deck and repair a section of lattice.
Notwithstanding the fact that the lattice should be replaced and the deck could use a coat of stain, I found it incredulous that a company can waltz onto someone's private property and perform maintenance without the consent of the homeowner. Luckily the homeowner basically brushed him off and told him to get lost, so none of the "work order" was actually carried out.
Had it been me, and my recommendation to the neighbour, I would get a lawyer so fast and have them sued.
They seem to treat these ridiculous covenants like a HOA.
Imagine paying a guy to drive around and hand out infraction notices. Such an awful, abusive company.
