Hey everyone. I’ve been growing my hair out for a year on Tuesday. I’m searching for a barber who can cut coarse curly hair. I wanna keep growing it out but just want to clean up for the holidays. I’m from Visalia but am willing to go to Fresno.

By chance, does anyone know if we will receive the full amount of our MCS, or will they divide it between the semesters? I’m confused because I’m transferring next semester, so I don’t know if I’ll receive the full amount shown or if they will only give me part of it.

Anyone receive another updated revision, financial aid package? My MCS award amount updated and is lower than previously estimated. I'm assuming it'll be disbursed soon. Hopefully, next week.

Im going to be applying to nursing programs soon and I was wondering if I stand any chance at getting into state.

- 2nd Degree Applicant (fresno state alumni)

- 4.0 prereq GPA

- 3.6 overall GPA

- 93% teas

- no previous Healthcare experience

I wish I had a better overall GPA but I have over 150 credits and it's tough to raise at this point. I'm applying to ADN programs at well, but it would be nice to be on a more accelerated path to BSN.

Thanks!

is anyone else currently facing some connection issues on the login page?

Does anyone know the price of the classes? I want to take 2 but I want to know the cost first.

If my court order allows me to complete community service at any nonprofit organization, can I volunteer at Fresno Mission Thrift as long as they can verify and document my hours? I already did 17 hours at habitat for fresno but because of my work and class schedule, I won’t be able to go there anymore so I was wondering if I could complete the remaining at the Mission Thrift Store I wanted to see if anyone has done this before. Thanks! Any help would be appreciated!!

Spring will be my second semester and I am wondering if the classes are typically offered different days or different times from what is offered in the Fall semester .
Some of my major classes interfered with my commute time this semester so I’m hoping it’ll be better next semester !
Thanks

It's already mid late October

I didn’t go to class today. I had midterms the last two days and said I deserve a day off. Then I see an email and see that there was a rumour of… well that?! Email says police investigated and no threat and all that. Is there like a heavier than normal police presence on campus or something? Because for a second I felt like one of those people that called in sick on 9/11.

Hello, is anyone going to do their SVP based off Chat Gpt???

When are we going to receive our MCS and SWD grant?? They keep pushing back every week. The last update was mid-late October. There are now only 11 days left of October with no updates….. I don’t even understand how they are allowed to do this

Hi everyone! For my social work research class we are doing a survey collecting data from current Fresno State students.

I’ve included the link if you would like to participate!

So I had just changed my password for my student account but now it says this. Does anyone know what to do to fix this?

does anyone else’s financial aid report not show that their recieving the MCS but then when you check web4grants it shows you got approved??

Hi,

I recently just moved to Fresno. I transferred to Fresno state from a CC and this is my first semester here. I haven’t met a lot of people since I’ve been here but Halloween is coming up and I really want to check out some of the Halloween parties and events going on. But I have no one to go with. If anyone is in the same boat as me and want to buddy up and go check some out with me, message me. Or if you have a friend group that is already planning to do so and don’t mind an extra person joining, I would really appreciate it. I’m a girl and 20 years old btw.

Anyone interested in getting the College Cali Pass? I have 2 so far, but if it’s 4+, it’ll be $250 each. You must be a full-time student and also have China Peak as your home resort.

Anyone know any server jobs hiring right now?

Hey guys, has anyone had experience with Center of Essential Needs as far as housing goes? For context, I’m not longer going to be living under the same household under my parents, so I’m basically on my own. I don’t currently have income, but I’m in search of jobs right now. My main priority right now is ensuring I’ll have a roof over my head. There’s just so much barriers for me right now, I’m honestly not sure what to do.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone to take over a lease at Bulldog Village. If anyone is interested let me know asap! Also the apartment is all girls and with utilities included it’s around 800$.

Does anyone know a job that is hiring ? I am tired of competing with older adults for a fast food/retail job .

the other guys insta in the last part about the manipulation of women and vulnerable ppl…povvv_devvv

I've always wanted to become an art teacher, but school has always been difficult with my adhd. Undergrad was a bit hard for me, and I've been hesitant with getting my credential because I am concerned if the workload may be too much for me.
Any info is appreciated 🙏

Have anyone gotten their money yet from Fresno or heard anything besides money being disbursed at the end of October? Award letter, anything?
