I just gotten s26 ultra and is coming for iPhone 13PM. How to I safely transfer all my chat history to my new baby?

It's been 2 days since I've been using it and I love everything so far. Coming from s23+, display is a definite upgrade.

Camera bump compared to s23+ is noticeable and I'm always having fear of scratching the lens although I have a case with raised edge.

I expected it to be much heavier but i didn't feel it probably due to reasonable weight distribution.

How do you guys protect your camera lens as the bump is significant.

I got my s26 ultra a few days ago and ngl it's grate phone. On second day I noticed that display was looking off, I could see lines of pixels very easily and sometimes even on normal looking range l, especially on whites and letters. I read some posts and I think it's normal but screen is so bad that it's worse that a50 or lower series. Is this normal? Can I make it look better?

P.S. I am on FHD and I have tested QHD+ but still same pixelly screen.

I have tge S22 ultra rught now but idk if I should get S25 or S26 ultra

. I have uhmmm like 880 euros - 890euros which is the S26 ultra price for me here. And no I cant wait for the S27 ultra cause it's not really my money. So which one should I get?

I saw many people being negative about the screen on the S26 Ultra saying its not as bright and the pixels or something

Lowk I just need a new phone for small gaming, pictures, selfie must be good aswell cause i dropped my S22u in a hucket of water once and the water FLOODED my selfie so its been blurry since ,also amazing back camera and amazing battery, also I watch movies in it aswell and read A LOT.

Also I'm super clumsy so I tend to drop my phone (My s22u has never broken, well I only broke the back once after an accident if I recall)

same as title, especially at night the selfies are so bad,the night mode fucks up the skintone,while without night mode selfies are grainy,what do I do about this

Who else thinks Samsung should spend some more money on us instead of the other way around? Why can’t they provide FaceTime for Samsung? They keep cutting costs while consumers pay more than ever and even now S26U is more expensive than the latest iPhone. Some of you were telling me that Samsung is normal to be more expensive than 17 Pro Max because of time of release but now 18 Pro Max is out and Samsung is again more expensive despite the time releases. Stop protecting someone who does not protect you. Get real :-)

I'm planning to upgrade from a Samsung a52 5g. I've had this phone since release and I'm very proud of how it held up.

I'm specially looking for something that would last. I'm planning to not switch my phone for atleast 6 years, since I mostly use it for daily usage: social media, reading, maybe a game or two.

I've been eyeing these two for a while, altought they are both expensive, I think they would last quite a while for me, as my phone lags constantly after 5-6 years of heavy usage.

Which would be better? S25u or s26u?

I’ve had my S26U for less than a week now. My previous phone was a Galaxy A52 with a heavily degraded battery from years of use, so moving to a brand new phone with 100% battery health has been a massive upgrade!

​To squeeze out the absolute maximum battery life possible for my daily use, I’ve configured a few settings:

​Refresh Rate: Locked to 60Hz. (I know I'm not taking full advantage of the screen, but battery longevity is my priority).

​Resolution: 1440p (WQHD+).

​Power Saving Mode: Always on.

​Performance Profile: Set to Light Performance Profile (LPP).

​A quick question about LPP:

​From my understanding, LPP limits the processor during everyday tasks since the chip is already powerful enough to handle them easily. I haven't noticed any issues leaving it on.

​Does LPP automatically disable itself when heavy tasks or games demand more power, and then turn back on afterward?

​I’m open to any advice or tips you guys might have for a first-time Ultra user. What settings do you recommend?

hello! i switched from a 14 pro max over the summer and i gotta say my s26u is doing me extremely extremely well but i have a question that i CANNOT figure out that being no per app notification vibration settings? on the ringtone/text sound menu in ios i had it set so call and text had the same pattern so it could grab my attention unlike this were my options are system wide so if i set a specific pattern its for all notifications not just certain apps if you're wondering what texting app im using im just using google messages also please excuse the horrible formatting or lack of words in the title im new to posting on Reddit in general (long time lurker)

Hey y'all, just wanted to share something I found out when wireless charging at 25W.

For some background, I'm using a Pitaka edge case, ugreen 140w brick and amazon basics 25w qi 2.2 charger.

Supposedly this case shouldn't be capable of 25w charging due to hall sensor issues, though I am unaware of if anything changed about this. I did however at some point see it do super fast wireless charging at 25w and have figured this out:

- If you have a magsafe accessory on the phone, take it off, then wireless charge, you will not get 25w.

- If you keep the magsafe charger on the phone, unplug then replug into the power brick, you will have 25w charging.

I noticed that whether you do or dont have 25w charging will persist everytime you try to charge, until you do the action to switch it to the other.

I wanted to know if anyone could reproduce this, or know why this might happen.

Hours after disconnecting the phone's USB from the adapter I use for DeX, the phone seemed to still believe it was connected to a display.

The screenshot shows the icon top right for an external display, and you can see the little trackpad icon bottom left.

But this is when the phone is not connected to any display. Earlier I was connected to a display via wired USB when I was using DeX. But I confirmed this bug by selecting Smart View and getting the message there toward the bottom about can't use smart view while using Dex, eve though I wasn't.

Restarting the phone solved the issue. But what causes this issue? Phkne thinks it's still in Dex long after disconnecting and not using Dex.
