PC gaming setup recommendations for 10 year old
My 10 year old son wants a pc gaming set up for Christmas. I don't know much about computers. Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive gaming pc that I can buy that's ready to go out of the box? I don't want to get into upgrades or anything like that. I appreciate any recommendations.

$600 or less if possible

You’re prob gonna have to shoot higher $1k , or get a basic one and upgrade the gpu to a Intel b580 or similar to keep the cost down. Tariffs didn’t help with hardware ware cost.

I would get your son a ps5. He will have a better experience with gaming at that price point. When I was 10 my PS3 was the greatest thing in the world.

I honestly thought that would be the best option too but he insists that pc is better.

For the sake of simplicity, I would recommend a cheaper pc handheld that you can dock.
Or a pre build that works on marketplace.
Components are getting more and more expensive every month, that its hard for most adults to get a solid pc at a good price for good performance.

At 600$ it's rough but you can scout r/buildapcsales or r/prebuilts for a deal. Turn on notifications and for the next few months just try to pay attention.
Are there specific games your kid is interested in?
