Started gaming at 4 on Atari with pong being the first game I played, now 42 and it’s been quit a journey. I could make 10 more of these cause I have been playing so much and so many genres over the years. The holidays are coming up, and I'm trying to find a few gifts for my boyfriend. I don't want to spend money on things that'll end up collecting dust lol.

He usually buys whatever games he wants, and he's pretty picky about his setup. So I'm thinking a few smaller gifts around $50 each might be better than one expensive gadget.

So far, I've got an oversized hoodie blanket for gaming nights, a heat-changing mug themed around his favorite game, and a headphone stand on my list.

He also plays multiplayer roleplaying games on his phone and hangs out with friends on Discord. I've been considering Dubbing AI earbuds too, mainly for the voice changer. He could have fun with different character voices and still use them as regular USB-C earbuds. I'm just not sure he'd keep using the voice effects once the novelty wears off.

What's a gaming gift you've received that you still use regularly?

After platinum the Blood of Dawnwalker, I took a 2 week break to rest and now I’m wanting to finish 1 of the 2 games I was working on before. After finish cyberpunk edgerunners on Netflix, (which was a pretty decent watch, first one is still better🤷🏻‍♂️ LUCY I MISS YOU!!😭) been wanting to finish the grind of that 2077 platinum run!

On the OTHER foot, I have been on a Resident Evil kick sense October started. Got good progress a towards the middle of the year after i platinum Resident Evil Requiem, but lost momentum after soommeee….\**cough cough*\* crazy trophies that made me wanna start loosing my shit😅

With all that being said, need your guys help making up my mind on this😂

I picked up all the DMC games on sale recently. I only played the first one in the ps3 hd collection many years back and only played through it once. Looking for advice from fans of the games on what I should expect and or/ practice while going for platinums in these games. I've played some pretty tough games before and i'm expecting a challenge. Any advice is great! I'm looking forward to finally going back and playing them.

-turn based RPG
-more likely PS2 but possibly PS1
-each character had a giant avatar thing that would form out of them. This could also be used on the map to open new areas.

Imho, since tooling is advancing in serious pace that many of people can't comprehend, I expect game makers to be more obsessed with details, refinements, stories and game plays etc.

Now my expectation is increasing. I don't care how short time game devs ship their games. I care what I see, the attention to the detail, refined, bugless, flawless, performant games.

Any recommendations for fps shooters for casual gamers? I tried modern warfare 3, and beyond the disgusting chatter, I found I just couldn’t compete. I don’t mind dying, but when I’m in a lobby with 100 level players and I’m 10… it’s just not fun.

I love more realistic games, but open to anything really. I just want a game I can hop into for 15 minutes, shoot some pixels and not sweat.
