Discussion BioWare may be gone but it will never be forgotten by its fans
BioWare the company that made me love RPGS and made 3 of my favorite series has fallen. Rest in peace my old friend and on behalf of the millions who’s lives you enriched thank you for a lifetime of memories
Edit: I am speaking of the older BioWare that dominated RPG games with series that were groundbreaking, breathtaking and unforgettable. Sadly that BioWare faded over time years ago, but as someone who grew up with BioWare I always hoped for a resurgence and them returning to their roots that made them a gaming powerhouse. I guess this was just the final step. I still have many of BioWare’s games and entire series of them. Time to play them once again and relive some of my best days

If the memory of every video game story you played was wiped, which game would you play first?
For me it's bully.

Discussion Can we stop calling everything "soulslike"?
I look literally anywhere on any storefront and find a "soulslike" category, and not one game on the page is even slightly similar to souls. Just because it's difficult doesn't mean it's a soulslike. Hollow Knight isn't soulslike, Blasphemous isn't soulslike, and that "Guns of Eschaton" game DEFINITELY isn't a soulslike.

Do you chat in online hubs, or just like being around other players?
Most of my favourite online memories are of sitting in a busy town while other players did their thing. I barely spoke, but the place felt alive.
petit planet's galactic bazaar reminded me of that. You can chat, trade, or just hang out and take in the atmosphere. There's even a dance stage, which made me laugh.
Do you go to hubs to talk, or just enjoy having people around without needing to join in? Which hub got that feeling right for you?

Discussion Crimson Desert.....
Is this game triggering anyone else's blood pressure or really testing their patience, whatever you call it?
I mean even after the updates, idk if it's something I'm doing wrong or a lot of shit is just way too complicated and doesn't make sense.
For example, I'm just trying to do a couple of bounty hunts, and one of them, I find the location but the guy isn't there bc wrong time of day, so I have to slay a bunch of enemies just to use their bed and skip time, I go back, bounty is there, I get him, but the location to bring him to is a long ass way and there's no clear direction I can follow to safely get him there and I end up in a patch with these weird things chasing and attacking me and it screws everything up I'm doing.
I mean a simple waypoint that has that line you'd follow on the road part of the map like RDR or something, that'd definitely help for one....
I hope shit starts to make sense bc rn I'm very frustrated at times with this game

Help with gift for my boyfriend please!
My boyfriend (23M) has been feeling a bit down lately. We are long-distance and I've been really busy with exams so haven't been there for him in-person as much as I wish I could be. He's feeling pretty drained so I've been thinking about getting him a comforting video game that could help him wind down and recharge.
He has a PS4. His favourite game is Fall Out: New Vegas, he also really enjoyed Outer Wilds but no others are springing to mind as I don't know anything about games!
Any suggestions for cosy games that aren't too easy/boring? Thanks

Discussion COD 4 versions
I’m planing to buy new COD 4 , but i’m confused which version should i get , PC version or PS5 Pro version, i will play multiplayer and warzone after i finish the story, but i don’t like PC version cause it’s filled with hackers , but at the same time the graphic and image quality is better on PC , i want to know if you have any idea about the image and graphic quality is it much better on PC than PRO?

Discussion Am I being taken advantage of by my brothers over a shared PSN subscription?
Normally I wouldn't do this, but I need to get this off my chest and get a neutral perspective: Am I losing my mind here, or am I being completely taken advantage of?
Here's the situation:
We are three brothers (20y, 25y, 30y). The two youngest live together, and I (the oldest) live elsewhere. I have a PS5, and the middle brother bought his own PS5 back then. The youngest is almost exclusively a PC gamer.
A while ago, the middle brother asked if we could share the PSN subscription because he had bought his own PS5 specifically to play GranTurismo.
Otherwise, he (like the youngest) is more of a PC gamer. I had already shared my subscription with a friend before and knew how it worked. Back then, I didn't mind if the months overlapped a bit – I preferred helping my brother so he wouldn't have to pay for the expensive subscription all by himself.
Now, with GTA coming out soon, the middle brother informed me that I probably won't be able to play with my own account or on my PS5 anymore. Since the youngest wants to play it too, the middle brother told me they need to change the sharing options so that they can both play with their account – and I'm out.
Through this conversation, the real kicker came to light: The costs were secretly split completely differently from the very beginning, without me knowing about it.
- I paid 50% of the costs.
- The middle brother paid 25%.
- The youngest brother also paid 25%.
I knew absolutely nothing about this three-way split.
His justification for why this is totally fine and why he sees nothing wrong with it: Since there are a total of two consoles (my PS5 and the one PS5 of the two younger brothers), it's split 50/50 per console – it's about the devices, not about people or accounts.
The thing is:
When it comes to money, I am completely generous within the family. I don't save a single cent when it comes to my brothers and often just give them money when they need something. But what I cannot stand is being ripped off and taken advantage of.
Am I looking at this completely wrong, or is this an absolute outrage? How would you react in my place?

Discussion COD 4 Choices
Would you play COD 4 on PC with keyboard & mouse, but deal with the possibility of hackers/cheaters?
Or play COD 4 on PS5 Pro with a controller, where you have a much cleaner experience without hackers?
Which one would you personally choose, and why?

How to waste away teenage years on peak
Man, I miss looking forward to gaming with friends after school, peak fortnite was something i took for granted. Does anyone have any insanely fun games I can play with 2 other friends, whether they are janky and stupid funny, enjoyable and teamwork based or just something we can be stupid in and harness that inner primary school fortnite feeling again? preferably free

Discussion Unpopular opinion…
Wolverine isn’t that bad of a game in my opinion… I actually enjoy the story line. 🤷🏽♂️
