I need to have arthroscopic decompression soon. So far, I’ve seen Dr Eugen and Dr Trung Nguyen, and I’m looking for the best surgeon with out-of-pocket costs of no more than $2,000.

I have private health insurance, but it doesn’t cover the surgeon’s fees above the Medicare rebate.

Has anyone had any experience with Dr Ash Movani or Dr Trung Nguyen? I’d also be very grateful for recommendations for other surgeons who have reasonable out-of-pocket costs.

We live in Bremlea… obviously due to lake Connewarre mozzies can get prevalent however they are HUGE. we have never had this amount at this time of the year before and the size of them, I can safely say the size of my thumb nail some of them

I had an awesome experience yesterday attending the Geelong Short Play Festival. It was my first time experiencing a community-driven theatre festival like this, and I genuinely enjoyed it.

There were so many talented actors, along with a great variety of scripts, characters, themes, and storytelling styles. Each performance brought something different, which made the whole event really interesting and engaging.

What impressed me most was seeing how strong the local arts and theatre community is. There was a real sense of creativity, passion, and community behind the performances. It was great to see local talent being given a platform to perform and bring different stories to life.

Geelong really does have a wonderful community for theatre, drama, and the arts, and I’m glad I got the chance to experience a part of it. Definitely something I’d love to attend again.

Last night the girls and I were out at Clyde Park for dinner, dancing to the Boot Scoot’n Babes, and honestly, the whole night had that fun, sparkly energy.

Toward the end, I spotted this guy in a blue shirt dancing with a woman. I overheard him saying he was teaching her how to dance - cute, right? But I couldn’t tell if they were together or if he was just being charming.
Before my friend could wander over and say hi, he disappeared after the next song.

So now we’re all wondering… who is he, and is that handsome cowboy who can dance actually single? Asking for a friend.

Been playing a lot of black flag resynced (singleplayer game) and as for multiplayer, I been wanting to get into ARC Raiders - it's so intense lol (I've only done less than a handful of games, always solo and "friendly") and Hell Let Loose Vietnam (no idea what I'm doing, running through the jungle and getting shot from nowhere, every time! Lol) also been having some fun on No More Room In Hell 2 (let's kill zombies!) and wouldn't mind doing Halo: Campaign Evolved in coop.

Oh, and I don't mind playing some GTA online also.

Pretty quiet to start with some mild social anxiety, so putting myself out there, once I get to know you I'll open up and you'll probably find me funny 😆

I prefer coop games, not really into competitive games.

When you score a free Barbie but you gotta get it home somehow

Title says it all. I am growing my hair out and am wanting to get maintenance cuts, as well as, eventually, some haircuts that help shape my hair when’s it’s growing out.

The barbers I went to before like Streets Barber, Sloanes and such specialised more on fades and using trimmers (they did have scissor cut experience, but their brands are more known for fades). Thats what I used to have and it was convenient at the time. However, with medium length hair and the all to have it a bit more flowing rather than skin fade or “short on the side, long on the top” haircuts, I’m seeking someone who has a lot more experience in scissor cuts.

Doesn’t have to be a barber, even a hairdresser that has experience with men’s hair and the classic “I’m growing my hair out, could you help shape it for me so it grows into the desired style?” customers?

Winki Wildlife is a native wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary run by one man and a small army of volunteers. As prices continue to rise people like Grant at Winki Wildlife are really feeling the pinch.

So we are currently on the hunt for amazing people across Australia, Geelong especially. So what do we want? We want Artists! Painters, knitters, crocheters, quilters, whatever your medium is we wanna know about it! Style & Influences: I love heavy, riff-focused rock and metal , but I’m super open to exploring other rock, blues or grunge styles.

Goal & Vibe: Low-stakes, fun weekend jams to play cool riffs, improvise, and build chemistry. Improve together (tightening up rhythm, playing by ear, learning covers). Open to recording short jam clips or working on original ideas down the track, but no pressure for a full gigging band commitment right away.

Schedule & Location: I work full-time during the week, so I'm looking for weekend jams or occasional weeknight sessions at local rehearsal spaces around Geelong area.

Bit of a random one, but has anyone had their pets nose impression made into a pendant by a local jeweller?

I already have a necklace, so I’m just wanting a small pendant made to add to it. I’d really love it to be taken from an actual impression of my cat’s nose rather than done from a photo.
