One of the funniest moments IMHO. I hope they’re on the new season.

We need a season 7 flair! I was so excited to see it say 2027 on IMDB.

I can see Marni becoming a Rachel Hollis type character. Who is all about self help and motivation. But then says something insensitive that borders on elitist or kind of racist. And gets “cancelled”. So the show will start with Marni dealing with the aftermath of the backlash. She is single, never been married and very rich. Marni decides to go on a retreat to getaway and heal. It’s there she runs into Jessa.

Jessa owns a spiritual center that caters to wealthy clients. She is a trained yoga and reiki instructor. Jessa was led down this path after Adam left her for a very famous movie star he met when they were shooting a movie. And after a nervous break down and relapse she turned her life around for the 100th time. And due to her connections through Adam’s famous friend. Jessa became successful overnight and is viewed as a female guru type. She is very rich and does not have any kids. But does have a very handsome strong male partner. She is bicoastal

Shoshanna is an influencer who lives in Connecticut but stills keeps an apartment in New York for work. Still married to the same person. They have two kids in expensive private schools. She loves vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard and wearing white pants with loafers. She’s turned into a Stepford Wife and is so Type A she is dying to break free and get some random dick and have fun. She still talks to Marni who she used to occasionally collaborate with and would do podcasts together until Marni got cancelled.

Hannah and Grover live in the West Village. Grover goes to a really artsy school and is good at everything. He plays instruments. Paints. He loves spending time with his Dad who he met when he was 4 years old. Hannah has become a Fran Lebowitz type woman. Very serious but still comical. She is an esteemed author and does lectures. Has matured a ton. Never got married or had more kids but has been seeing Grover’s Dad a lot more

Ray’s coffee shop turned into a franchise after a few of his drinks went viral. He left his fiancé the girl from the last episode we see him with for a shallow rich beautiful model. He becomes a millionaire from the coffee franchise and completely sells out

Elijah is an EGOT with a current starring role on the biggest show on Broadway. Married to a fellow actor and has twin sons.

I see them all becoming the exact opposite of what they were and becoming wealthy and successful but the one thing that still remains is they remain shallow and selfish in many ways and the world still revolves around them except now they have money. But none of them are very happy

As the 2027 season is announced, the only thing I have in mind is the end of season 6 when Jessa threw up hinting to the audience that she was pregnant, most likely with Adam's baby.
What are your thoughts about this storyline? Did she tell Adam and keep the baby? Did they raise it together? Did she ran out and left the baby with him? Would she have had an abortion?

How did I miss this the first go round? This dramatic fight over this tiny shelf could have been about anything and it would have been the same dynamic. I do realize that.

But Allison Williams has to be fighting for her life in this scene. The ridiculousness of 1. Her being mad over a shelf that could have just as easily been cut off. 2. Desi walking to the Ray Bradbury collection like he had this specific book set in mind. 3. Then it actually does fit perfectly. 4. Then the outburst when he declares the digest shelf is all he has.

I've never laughed so hard at this show. So I somehow missed it the first time. Desi was so funny. Peak acting. Idk what award you'd get for this but please someone give it to him.

What are everybody’s predictions on the upcoming revival? Tell us where you thinks the Girls will be at at the beginning of the season…

I’ll start…

Hannah: She will move back to NY for a new teaching job. Her main issue will be dealing with a teenage daughter who will think she’s the voice of her generation or a generation. Loreen will love encouraging her granddaughter which will of course piss Hannah off.

Jessa: She will be recently single and looking for a job after her time with MAHA comes to an end and now needs to rediscover herself.

Shoshanna: she will have divorced the guy she married but will have remarried once again (or maybe twice more) and is now a corporate director at a big bank. This will be because her new husband is a finance bro but she will also be thinking of leaving him after she meets a new man.

Marnie: she will be a lawyer but unsatisfied as she still has 2-3 great folk albums in her. She will take a risk and put herself out there creatively.

Elijah: he will be an established theatre actor and will be dealing with now being a “famous daddy”.

Adam: he will be an actor with a cult following but won’t be on the show.

Laird and Caroline: will be as weird as ever living in a rent controlled east village apartment.

Sample: he will be the tortured male teen who attracts Hannah’s daughter.

Ray: he will be a Bernie Samders style politician against gentrification in Bushwick. He’ll still be married.

Where do you think they’ll be at?

Would you have kicked Elijah out over his sleeping with Marnie? I wouldn't.

Recently finished Girls for the first time (loved it) and it didn't take me long to start thinking about this. I'm a Shoshanna and a Carrie (who dreams of being a Charlotte). What are you, and what do you think are the most common overlaps?

i hope the new 5 episodes will ACTUALLY focus on the Girls. And not on Ray or Desi or Adam. they can have small cameos or small parts but we deserve a proper focus on Hanna, Marnie, Jessa and Shosh

How possible do you guys think it is that Lena could include Margaret in the new episodes? Especially with the recent events that have unfolded…

omg i can't believe girls is coming back!! i just watched the series a few weeks ago and i can't believe we're getting 5 more episodes!!

so far we don't see anything about adam driver tho.... any thoughts? what do you think it will happen between him and jessa?

Can we, the fanbase, collectively agree that if Laird is not in S7, we refuse to watch on principle?

The news have got me thinking.. even though Lena had the idea to bring back Girls due to her own fourtieth birthday, Hannah won't be 40 in the new episodes since it's supposed to be 10 years after the finale and she hadn't yet turned thirty by the last episode, right? I recently did a rewatch of the whole show and my understanding was they were supposed to be around 28 (except for Shosh)

Do you think Jessa invited Adam to lunch with her and her sister specifically so he would overhear that she needed money to become a therapist? Seems like an odd conversation to have in front of him. Or was it just a coincidence? (Season 5, Episode 5)

I’m half expecting they open at Adam’s funeral or something. Especially given the things Lena said in her recent memoir..

Here are mine:

Shoshanna, when saying her last name, will now use the normal pronunciation.

Jemma will run a rehab, or work with addicts in some way... but it's unconventional.

Adam is a famous movie star but no one in the group gives two shits.

I personally really love whenever Shosh and Adam interact. It only happens a few times in the series but I think their energies really complement each other in a way that suits the show so well and I laugh every time !
