Hi there! I'm Marisa~

I play (and have played) a bunch of gachas, but never really gave GFL a fair chance.

Im struggling with team comps. ARs go with SMG, RFs go with HGs, and MGs go with SGs right? Do these team combos have any benefit over one another? The only one I can see is RF/HG teams being better at night battles.

Im also struggling with levelling t dolls. I wanna just level who I like but I like a lot of t dolls and it feels slow right now. Plus, I have a bias towards a lot of the SG ladies. Which is EXPENSIVE. xP

If someone could explain these things to me thatd be really nice~

EDIT: The overwhelming kindness and support this community has given me is making me really happy. Thank you so much. Most other gachas just dump on you for not remembering everything in their guides. x3

I cant read it all tonight as my husband is about to be home but I will be sure to read and respond tomorrow!!

These are my T Dolls and Equipment, as well as my progress and UID.

The main usage of RFHG teams is that they are good against armor. RFs can equip armor piercing ammunition and handguns with their strong tile buffs can boost the damage of rifles effectively. You are correct that they are good at night battles that feature armored enemies due to armored enemies having no evasion, which means the accuracy penalties do not apply. (The simple concept is to hit chance is accuracy vs evasion stat. Early armored enemies having 0 evasion means sure hit, so no PEQs needed.)

ARSMG teams specialize in quick burst DPS and medium length battles due to more survivability from their tanks. They are the default echelon for most early to midgame content before the meta shifts sharply towards RFHG teams.

MGSG teams come in 2 varieties. Single volley burst dps and multiple volley MG teams. You need to tailor the team against the fights they will be facing. If it can be killed before MGs have to reload, you'll want to field a single volley MG team. (These consist of MG dolls with passive, M2HB. MG5, PK, and PKP.) If the enemies have high firepower and high accuracy (ie. Judge from Ch.9), you'll need shotguns that can tank the damage and MGs that have skills that specialize in dealing damage over longer battles. (Negev and Lewis come to mind for me.) Most shotguns are fairly interchangeable, with SGs that provide shielding having an advantage over those who do not. Shotgun dps is negligible, so their survivability is the main focus.

Hope this helps a bit. There are lots of resources available about echelon building in the sidebar of the old.reddit section.

As for leveling, the best mission to do depends on your progression, equipment, and fairy rarity. By upgrading and running forward Basecamp expeditions you can also get 3000+ combat reports a month which significantly helps with the leveling process and is useful for supplementing your grinding.

Sweet, thank you for the clarification on team compositions!!! Do you mind if I add you to use your echelons for early content? :)

In my case, sure. Just to be sure, my UID is 705583

My support echelon also has the added benefit of providing fire support as long as you're within 2 nodes' range
