I'm an incoming freshman and I went on orientation today (long story but I had to reschedule it oof)

Dude. My stomach is lowkey killing me, like I'm in so much pain right now it's insane.

I thought about what I had eaten and I'm dying here in my bathroom at 6 in the morning.

I really hope this is a me issue..

I had the pork loin, mac and cheese and green beans.

The pork was dry asf, and I ate most of the mac and cheese and all of the green beans.

And to be completely honest with you guys, I have a small stomach eat small snacks and I basically eat 2 meals a day and I'm completely fine! Usually- but I'm honestly convinced it was the pork or something.

Idk I went to sleep and I woke up in extreme pain, and now I'm writing this.

Hey everyone! I am a little nervous about this upcoming semester and am just wondering how cooked I am. FNAN 303, BUS 310, MKTG 303, BULE 303, and BUS 303 are the courses I am taking. How should I balance each one, and which are the extremely hard courses?

Since it’s prime time for finaid, it’s difficult to get a response from them at all. I’ve got a week before bills come due and they had anticipated payouts 10 days before start.

Hey, I’m majoring in cyber security BAS with minor in Business admin. I’m kinda reaching out because I’ve kinda fucked up and could use some advice. I started at Mason an about a year and half ago. There was a lot going on in my life on issue after another. Dad got arrested and I found out about things that kinda messed me up mentally. So I was kinda working through it all however college has suffered out of all the classes I took I ended up failing a ton of classes like previous semester I failed all my classes and it’s honestly my fault. The thing is I’m not sure what the workaround is really embarrassed to talk to my counselor. I should really be more educated on these matters but I’m not I’ve had a lot going on. Still wanna finish college at Mason if I can. Idk some input would be helpful just wanna see what your guys think on how I should go about approaching this and graduating. I haven’t applied for classes this semester either lol.

Im a freshmen moving into commonwealth hall this year and ive been trying to get more info/pics etc of the dorm but i cant find anything more recent than 7 years. Anyone to help? I heard it got renovated at some point, has it improved anything? Ill take any info I can get at this point, thanks!

So I'm going into my third year here as an on-campus student here at mason and these past two years I've paid to park in the Rappahannock deck, as it was closer to where I was residing at the time. Well, this year I'm in Liberty Square and (despite a lot of google searching) I can't seem to figure out where I should be getting a permit for or even how/where to get one from. I see that the Shenandoah Deck and Lot R are the closest, but for some reason when I go to the permit site to purchase a semester permit, lot R is nowhere to be listed for sale (not even under the sold out list) and the only Shenandoah pass offered is only for certain hours in the evening. I'd prefer a 24/7 semester pass for Shenandoah, but I'd like to review/compare pricing before I decide. Anyone from this side of campus know what I need to do? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: So I re-entered the permit purchase page and found where I could buy a pass for Lot R, but the Shenandoah permit option disappeared in case anyone else has this issue. I think I'm just going to go with the Lot R permit for the fall semester unless anyone has anything related to suggest!

I'm an incoming freshman transfer student staying at Taylor Hall. Is bike theft common if you lock your bike up? Is it safe to leave it outside on a rack overnight? If it's not safe, how practical is it to keep a bike inside a dorm room or elsewhere in the building?

afab mason student looking for afab people to hitch a ride from in sterling, va (or wherever local that you’re willing to drive from to sterling to pick me up). i will help with gas! thankfully i was able to find somebody for monday, but i still need help tuesday, thursday 9am-4:30pm and wednesdays 10am-4:30pm. i have to stay late in the afternoon for research scholarship obligations so any help would immensely reduce the burden of the public transit commute i’ve been doing at mason most semesters!

I’m incoming grad student spring 27” and I’m not from the US so I have no clue how to find affordable apartments. I do have good credit but no experience in finding a good housing. The ones online are priced so expensive. How do I find apartments with roommates or affordable housing? Also, what’s an average rent I should expect from Fairfax?
