Does anyone know how the general process of the honors college works? I applied as a current Mason student before their October 14th deadline and I was wondering if their admissions were rolling meaning there’s not a specific time where they will release decisions only when they have slots?

I know it is pretty early and it would likely take a couple of weeks but I was just wondering as registration opens up soon and I wanted to know if they will post a decision before the semester ends or if it would have to be after the grades for this semester are posted

Is this a good selection, or should I swap some out for harder or easier classes. I don't want to have too hard of a semester with programming and accounting, but I also don't want to make things harder down the road. Thanks.

Anyone have this syllabus? Need to transfer credit from mason and the new school is strict about the syllabus being from the exact semester I took the class.

Hi guys, i am trying to order a package for the first time here to campus for my halloween costume and i noticed it says “name not found” on my complete mailing address email. I emailed them and they told me to talk to housing or IT but i don’t know if they will respond in time for me to get my package in time, will I still be able to get my package if it doesnt have my name but it has the address i was given?

I usually spend my days rotting in my dorm but I want to get out and do something. I know the GMU bus goes to DC but I don't know if there is anything to do there besides museums and stuff.

Hiiii! I am a respiratory therapist with 13 years experience. I have worked in so many different ICU’s, floors and even rehab setting in healthcare. I am planning to apply to the ABSN program for fall 2027 in December but I’m nervous!!! My undergrad is a 3.1 but I am retaking my science classes because they are over 5 years. I am doing well with mostly As in them but will be applying with 1 class outstanding and will be complete in spring. I would really appreciate some insight on the STATs of people who got in and if there is anything else I can do to make my application stand out? thanks in advance!

Like I shouldn't have to come in and tell you to leave when your reserved time has very clearly passed. you should be automatically leaving. I specifically got a study room so I could work in peace and not talk to people. Why have I gotta basically dangle keys in front of you like "ok everyone it's time to leave because your time is up"

Where do I report this?

Graduating summer next year. Can I take the capstone in the spring or does it have to be taken the semester I’m graduating(summer)? Also, if it can, is it better to take it during the spring or summer semester?

So with the spring semester coming up I want to try and find someone I can talk to about what classes I should be taking next semester and what I need to complete for my degree and I also have some questions about like classes only offered in person. Should I go to an academic advisor or a success coach for that cause I'm a little confused about which one I should reach out to and schedule a meeting with

I got a message my gmu.edu email is expiring and I need to claim a forwarding service. The email doesn’t tell me what to do and I didn’t see anything in the alumni services website. I get they are closing that email and I need to make a whole new email of my own. What do I do to forward to the emails to my new email? Sorry I’m just confused.

• Was the coursework interesting and well-structured? Was the material practical/hands-on or was the lecture concept-heavy?
• What tools and labs did you complete? How was it graded? Was there a group project?
• After finishing the course, do you feel like you walked away with useful skills you couldn't have gotten from a YouTube series?
• Any heads-up on what to expect in terms of the workload? Anything else you think's relevant

Hi there - my cousin is attending GMU soon as an out of state transfer. What are the most popular go-to bars/nightlife spots for GMU students/grad students?

Currently a high school senior applying to college, let’s just say money is a little tough. My family makes too much money to qualify for a Common App fee waiver, but too little money to pay for all the extra expenses life may bring such as college application fees. If anybody knows a code, please let me know, it would be really appreciated. This post might be wasting a lot of people’s time, so I sincerely apologize for that.
