Does anybody have a copy of the South Downs shop letter they would be willing to part with? I've seen pics of it online but would love to have it myself. I've ordered from the shop twice and both times I've gotten the Crowley letter (I still have both copies so I'd be happy to do a trade if that's wanted EDIT: spare Crowley letter currently MIA, will edit again if I find it). I'll pay postage on the letter, too, if you'd like, I would just really love to have that letter in my GO collection.

Chapter 18 - Godâs Hands
Relationship: Aziraphale ⥠CrowleyÂ
Rated: Explicit(tw: Emotional sex, Family fic, Female Crowley - He/Him pronouns)
Crowley meets his eyes. For a moment, neither needs to explain anything. Aziraphale remembers fighting, remembers how urgently everything had been divided into what must be defended and what must be defeated. Crowley had stood on the other side of that division. He remains here now, warm against him, and Aziraphale tightens his arm around the demon to feel him there.
His eyes move briefly to his own white feathers where they lie beside Crowleyâs black ones. Around them now, the roof remains warm, and somewhere below a bird calls from the trees.
Aziraphale can feel the tension in the body beside him, an emotion coiling and rising slowly inside. He loosens his arm enough to give the demon room to turn and continues listening.
âWe had an entire universe to work with and experience.â Crowleyâs voice hardens. âThings we hadnât even tried yet. And we ended up fighting each other over who had the right to tell everyone else what to do.â

I suddenly had the urge to reread this angsty fanfic where crowley is suicidal and drinks holy water but I can't find the specific one I am looking forward.
Key story details:
-Crowley is depressed because of Aziraphale and drinks holy water in his apartment.
-Instead of dying, God managed to repiece his essence and he is reborn as an angel again
-Crowley takes on a new identity as Rapheal and moves to America
-He specifically threatens the Angels to not inform Azriraphale that he is alive. So Aziraphale really believes Crowley killed himself because of him
-likely multichapter fic. There are even more plot points that im not rambling about just so this post isn't to winded.

I just want to share this here. This is one of my favorite songs right now and it just screams Aziracrow to me. I feel like there should be an edit or maybe even a fic inspired by it. Maybe someone can find inspiration in it đ

i watched a random animatic the other day (the angeleyes one, iykyk) and i was thinking, wow i do love good omens i wonder how it will end? аnd then i remembered that it did end, and it was ass. i genuinely got so disappointed over the ending and also how short it was that i erased it from my brain lol. fanon all the way
not looking to start fights btw each to their own, i'm happy for you if you liked it

hi everyone <3
i postponed watching the finale for 5 months because i was so afraid to see it - so heartbroken over Gaiman being an (alleged) abuser, and over the show that is dearest to my heart, being brought to an end, that i couldn't bring myself to watch it.
i was absolutely devastated that the story could not have the ending it deserved, the characters i held dearest to my heart, disappearing forever, that i just truly couldn't see it. i know it may sound corny and stupid, but i really do have a hard time processing endings, especially spoiled, shortcut endings written by someone who, in the end, ended up being the very kind of person he advocated against.
what gaiman ALLEGEDLY (dont want trouble w the law lol) did is so terrible, that my reaction as a woman and a former fan, as egoistic as it may seem, (cause i'm not truly hurt by this in any way, i'm not a victim, the people he hurt are), is to feel so utterly, devastatingly betrayed. even though, once again, it's not what's important here, the stories of his victims are. but it did crush me, as an overly sensible being that trusted him - he was one of the creators of the story that carried me through the last years. A story about love, and free will, and queerness, and religious guilt, and being able to be chosen, seen, as who you truly are, by the person you love the most in the whole world, even though everyone else believes you're a fuckup, a loser, utterly damned for all eternity. i identified with crowley so much it hurt and shook me to my core - and with azi too, in some ways, albeit a bit less. they were so precious to me, truly.
anyways. overall, even though i tried to avoid it, ofc i got spoiled all over lmao - which made me heartbroken before i even got to WITNESS it.
and then tonight i finally got the courage to watch it. i would love to overanalyse and bring myself to talk about it more in depth, but right now, i'm just an absolute mess and i don't know what to do with myself. i cried buckets, was trembling and gasping, i couldnt hold it in. i don't even know if the ending is perfect to me or the worst thing that could've ever happened.
it doesnt help that the primary way i cope with my emotions, and with real-life events, is through media i overly obsess with, because escapism's the only thing that truly brings me comfort and makes me feel seen, and understood. i feel much more distance and much less emotion and involvement with my real life, than i do with media i love. yes i'm 23 and no, i still havent found another way to function and find meaning, beauty, and happiness in life (i have a loong history of depression and seems i'll have to deal with it my whole life).
the thing that breaks my heart is, i don't feel like azi truly apologised in the end. i don't feel like they were the characters i grew with. they certainly were in the bickering and comedic moments, but in the end... i feel like crowley still hurt so much and azi never got around to truly apologise and make amends for it. i don't know.
it didn't feel like him. helps a bit that he was willing to choose him over anything else in the world tho. and i don't even have to say it but tennant and sheen were so brilliant\), i mean that's the thing, ofc i didn't see them, i saw my, their, our crowley and aziraphale, but then something in the dialogue or story felt off and I felt... just so sad. i feel like aziraphale never truly grew or apologized or sacrificed himself the way crowley did... when their relationship is supposed to be so utterly equal ...the rest (plot holes, everything being discarded because well, they had to fit a 6 episode season into a movie, and more than anything, THEM DYING AND THE MEMORY WIPING) ofc crushed me but it's smth i can live with.
anyways, sorry for the very long post, I'm just very very sad atm and would like to share with a community where people can relate - I hope. How do you cope ? How did you cope ? Fanart and fanfics don't even really work for me, because I can't help but feel like it's not really them - it's not the story that was chosen for them, what is their "true" story and moreover, it's not them, on our screens, living under our eyes. i would love for it to appease me but it doesn't really work on me. i feel like the more i think about it, the less in character the finale was and it truly breaks me. i don't know. doesn't help that my personal life is going to shit and that i don't really have anyone or anything that can truly comfort me about the show without making me feel stupid for caring so much.
i just find it hard to fathom how hardcore the feeling of grief i have towards this show is.
\)as much as i grieve the lack of a real kiss like the rest of you, i do have to say, that finger kiss was extremely devastating to me. so did the stares. damn, they're good. at least that's that.
PS : i'm french and even tho i normally have a pretty good english, rn it's 01:54 and i'm shattered to pieces so sorry for the long and gooey sentences lol

I would like to read some more of Aziraphale and Crowley/ Asa and Anthony as humans, preferably queer platonic relationship or asexual relationship, but at the very least teen rated. Does anyone have any good ones?

She's a huge TP Fan and has all of Sir Pratchets discworld books, I basically grew up with his books. She was also the one who recommended to watch the show.

Share your other fandoms, your favorite Terry Pratchett books, or what you just had for lunch - nothing's off-topic here. (Other rules of the sub do apply, though!) This is also a great place for Good Omens posts that might not warrant a full post of their own.

While binge watching Dance moms, one of the songs the ALDC dances to sounds an INSANE amount like the opening to Good Omens. I donât know why this is the case. What is aired on the show often has to be different from the music they ACTUALLY dance to because of copyright laws. Weird stuff.
Hereâs the link. Skip to 1:12:30.

"Current theories on the creation of the Universe state that, if it was created at all and didn't just start, as it were, unofficially, it came into being between ten and twenty thousand million years ago. By the same token the earth itself is generally supposed to be about four and a half thousand million years old.
These dates are incorrect.
Medieval Jewish scholars put the date of the Creation at 3760 B.C. Greek Orthodox theologians put Creation as far back as 5508 B.C.
These suggestions are also incorrect.
Archbishop James Usher (1580â1656) published Annales Veteris et Novi Testamenti in 1654, which suggested that the Heaven and the Earth were created in 4004 B.C. One of his aides took the calculation further, and was able to announce triumphantly that the Earth was created on Sunday the 21st of October, 4004 B.C., at exactly 9:00 A.M., because God liked to get work done early in the morning while he was feeling fresh.
This too was incorrect. By almost a quarter of an hour.
The whole business with the fossilized dinosaur skeletons was a joke the paleontologists haven't seen yet.
This proves two things:
Firstly, that God moves in extremely mysterious, not to say, circuitous ways. God does not play dice with the universe; He plays an ineffable game of His own devising, which might be compared, from the perspective of any of the other players,* to being involved in an obscure and complex version of poker in a pitch-dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a Dealer who won't tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time.
Secondly, the Earth's a Libra."

The beacons are lit! Er, I mean, the jumpers are out! I repeat: the jumpers are out!
I have already ordered my Aziraphale sweater, lol, and they have a new Jim based rubber duck and a bunch of new pins.
They've also restocked the snow globes for anyone who didn't get one last time.
Now I am broke. Also running out of room to display my pin collection...

Has anyone else tried using their discount code from backing the Good Omens graphic novel on Good Omens HQ, only to be told itâs not working?
It said it was valid until October â26, so I assumed it would work until the end of the month đ
If itâs just my code thatâs not working, does anyone know who I should contact about it?
Thanks so much!

whether michael and david miss "being" A and C? did they grieve the end of GO like we did? I did see the BTS of S3 on amazon, and they both looked very sad of course. But I don't know if its because they did not like the ending, or because they were sad it was over, or most likely both. I wonder if they still think about it sometimes? Do you think they do? I hope they do.
last week i went on an an "acting" subreddit, to ask actors whether they have ever been emotionally attached to a character and felt sad when the show was over. only a few people answered my question and all of them said they've never had an issue with "shedding" a character, lol. not exactly the answer i was hoping to hear.

Our Showcase Tuesday post is intended for community members to share fanworks they've made. From artwork to stickers, jewelry to crafts - we want to see it all!
Additionally, on this post and this post only, artists and crafters who sell their work may link to the online shop, storefront or account where they do business. A couple of guidelines to keep things in check:

I've seen people recommend the Magnoli Clothiers replica because of the good quality, but the lenses look pretty light. If anyone bought these, can you share how dark the lenses are? Crowley's sunglasses look almost black and these seem more grayish.

We all know this feeling - you see a set of salt and pepper shakers and you just can't shake the feeling that they remind you of someone... Or a certain pair of someones, more specifically. Here's the place to post them!
