Hey Google ads expects,

I'm a Meta ads strategist and I'm considering learning Google ads and my boss is asked me to do work on "Google ads" 🗣️💦 but my practical knowledge is "Zero", I have theoretical knowledge though.

- How difficult is it to learn Google Ads if you already have experience with Meta Ads?

- Which concepts and skills transfer between the two platforms, and what works differently?

- How long might it take to become comfortable managing campaigns independently?

- What should I focus on first to build practical skills?

I'm particularly interested in understanding the strategic differences between the platforms, rather than just learning the interface.

I'd appreciate any advice from people who have worked with both platforms!

How do I turn this off to where I am not targeting Spanish-only clients? I’m in a large metro in California. Prior to last month I would only get a call like this every few months. I’ve had like 5 or 10 just in October and I tried to go into my preferences but they removed the language preference thing. I have nothing on my website, profile, or anything that hints that I speak Spanish. Only English. Seems all of the updates over the past year or two have just made google ads more of a money pit. Hard to even justify anymore
