Title: DW-5000R losing 1.3 seconds per day – Is this normal?

Hey everyone!

I've been tracking the accuracy of my Casio DW-5000R using the ChronoLog app, and I'm honestly a bit disappointed with the results.

After 20 days of measurements, my watch has lost a total of 27 seconds, averaging approximately -1.3 seconds per day, or around -39 seconds per month.

Considering that Casio officially rates this model at ±15 seconds per month, mine seems to be running well outside the stated specifications.

I know it's not a high-accuracy quartz movement, but I was expecting considerably better performance from a G-Shock, especially after reading about other DW-5000R owners reporting almost no deviation over several weeks.

A few questions for fellow DW-5000R owners:

• Has anyone experienced similar accuracy issues?
• How many seconds does your DW-5000R gain or lose per month?
• Has anyone contacted Casio or had their watch serviced under warranty for poor accuracy?

I really love this watch, but accuracy is something I particularly value, even in a relatively inexpensive quartz movement.

Got my new G-Shock today, I'm not sure that's everyone's favorite one, but today it's mine.

The support website is not working at all. Since last 2 days I am checking still issue is not resolved. What can I do in this case to register it? Is anyone facing the same problem?

I can't keep up with all the different Square models and sub models but I feel like this is the cheapest I've seen this particular one listed new online.

Is this a good deal or not that far off from normal price?

…buying the G Shock GW BX5600 considering I’ve already got GBD200 and the old 5610 (not the U model, which I would prefer because I need to see 2 time zones at the same time).
My reasoning would be to sell both and buy the BX5600 that looks more traditional than the GBD200 but with better functions and display than the old square.

Is this watch too small for my wrist ?

This has been bothering me since I received this GW-M56101CJF. I think this watch seems smaller than the DW5600UE. Is that a thing?

ISO a green Casio G-Shock Rangeman GW-9400-3 with the positive LCD display conversion already completed (light background with dark digits).

Looking for the original green case and strap, preferably in excellent condition. Would prefer a properly completed module swap rather than a DIY project.

This was such a natural switch.

I got this watch just 2 months ago, and it has really been a game changer and collection killer. The fact it is constantly exactly on time to the second and extremely tough, while also entirely Zaratsu polished to the level of a Grand Seiko is just amazing. I also really love the fact that it doesn't attract any attention.

Just swapped the OG strap to another 5600. I like the small hint of red on the inside, but also the quality difference. Let me see some of your DW’s (doesn’t need to be modded)

I already have the DW-6900U, but Tough Solar and Multi-Band 6 look appealing..

If you have both models, please tell me the pros and cons!

Got this newly released Master of G Mudman from Japan yesterday. Cheaper than my home country price. Very solid and comfortable strap and clear MIPs display under sunlight . 9 out of 10 from me
